I don't even remember leaving. It was like a trashy-gay-kanye west music video and I'm kinda into that.

We're NO LONGER located at the location Yelp is giving. We're now at the Bossanova Ballroom on 722 E. Burnside st and much happier!

From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and fun. I was greeted by Alex, a tall, stunning bartender who was in his first week on the job and still learning the ropes. You never would've known it, though. He was charming, warm, and somehow remembered both my name and my drink every time I came back to the bar. That kind of care goes a long way, especially when you're traveling solo. The dancers were honestly impressive . Every performer clearly put thought and intention into their routines. One of the performers, Lynx, really stood out to me. I assumed they were non-binary and Latinx, and later learned their name. Their presence and performance were powerful and memorable. I'm from Chicago and go to my local go-go bar pretty regularly, but I have yet to see the kind of diversity in talent that I experienced at STAG. Bodies, genders, expressions, cultures--it was all there, and it was celebrated. I'm really glad I stopped in. Spaces like this matter. If our community had more places that truly showcased the beauty of our diversity the way STAG does, I genuinely believe it could change the world--at least a little. P.S. Atticus is so friendly and worth getting a lap dance from.

It's definitely a place to enjoy and end up if you enjoy the night seen. I've been lucky enough to visit both the location in Puerto Vallarta and this one circa 2018. We enjoyed the lounge and drinks before making our way from their Rainbow Room way into the NightClub which is a mix of everything. Still the best Lemon Drop I've had to date! It didn't really get busy until late here - like midnight, which is wild for weekend. All the security and staff were personable and they had a cool drag show we caught most of. Some fun themed nights/days, including Piano Karaoke, TRANS-UHH-LICIOUS, Comedy Nights, etc. It does seem like most of their on-goings happen before 10pm, w/ live DJs for the late late crowd. Completely different their cousin location in Mexico. There's a food menu of mostly bar style eats (like taquitos, tenders, jalapeno poppers, corn dogs and my go to Meatless Nuggets w/ tots or fries). Free Wi-Fi, clean restrooms, pool tables and great mood lighting. It's a pretty walkable area overall, but definitely recommend those 24 hr parking garages if driving in or passing through. Rideshare is also fairly easy in the area also. The MAX light rail and local transit service usually end by midnight most days, even on weekends. Cheers to coming back soon #FlashbackFriday

The bars are well stocked and their drinks were really good, though the line can get a bit long at times. The bartenders and waitstaff were always polite and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. The show and the visit in general was something I'll never forget. What a truly magical place.

The production value alone is enough to write a review about. This is no pop-up drag show in some bar, this is a full-on production with seasoned and dedicated queens. We are talking professional sound, multiple lighting engineers, and a legit stage with all of the theatrical bells and whistles. The walls are covered with portraits of all the queens who have graced the building over the years. It's the type of place where you can just FEEL the history. You can tell it is clearly a very special and well-loved place. Have an occasion coming up? Darcelle's is a fabulous place to celebrate a birthday, wedding, divorce, anything! They have seated drag shows Friday and Saturday nights (followed by the men of Darcelle's strip show!), and a drag brunch show on Sundays (only $32 for breakfast AND a show!). On Tuesday nights they do an open call drag competition and it's only $5 to get in and they have $7 drink and food specials all night. You cannot beat that deal...especially being downtown! As someone who works weekends in the entertainment industry, it is amazing to have something fun and affordable to do on a Tuesday night. Do not miss this experience!

I was visiting from out of town, and it was t far from our hotel, so we took a chance and dropped in for dinner. The ambiance was outstanding! Our server, Raven, was incredible, so big bonus for service. Very attentive and went above and beyond. The pictures speak for themselves, however the food exceeded my expectations. We had the mushroom risotto and steak tips, as well as the arachnicini, basically very creative Mac and cheese balls, and cocktails. While the menu is very limited, it was all outstanding. The craft cocktails alone are worth a trip to the bar (but don't actually trip - it's REALLY dark in there!). The risotto and steak were also both cooked beautifully. Altogether, this place is a MUST for horror fans and anyone who just likes the bizarre. Definitely walk around - there's lots of hidden gems in this place. Even the restrooms are pretty crazy.mad props to the owner and chef, and especially Raven for making our experience a great one!

Got a Daemon Ritus and Dr. Raven's Reserve. Daemon Ritus was like a creamy Mai Tai or tiki drink. One of the best cocktails I've ever had. Sweet but it didn't taste like absolute pure syrup. Dr. Raven's was good, pretty refreshing actually. Very lime forward but it didn't make my mouth pucker like a rear end. All other bartenders seemed super helpful. I wish I remembered my bartenders name but honestly they're all crushing it anyway. Decorations and vibe is killer. It feels like a Disney attraction almost, I would love to be back whenever I'm in town. TLDR one of the best themed cocktails bars I've been to.

So that we would just be around the corner and popping in here would be easy during our stay. Luckily I was able to come in on two different days, and at different times! We got both the night life experience and the day time experience. I think I preferred the day time because it wasn't as busy. Night means cover charge ($4) and bag check. And no kids. You might see some kids during the day. What a cool place, with yummy drinks (no food), and all my favorite arcade games, and then some! They operate on a card system, so no coins needed when you visit. My pinball wizard friend had been traveling arcade ready with coins in her bag, but it turns out they weren't needed. Ground Kontrol supplies free lockers to store your stuff; just follow the instructions and don't forget your code. I learned a lot about pinball during my visits here, and played more pinball than I usually do because of that. I mean, why not? I played one of the newest pinball games, released within weeks of my visit, which was Pokemon themed, and I played one of the more vintage pinball machines, Xenon. And everything in between! It was awesome. $20 loaded onto a card will get you 15ish games, but there is a different cost depending on which game you're playing. I was satisfied with the value and would, and did! come back again. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area! Make sure to check out the whole place, as it's bigger than you think and there are more games (mostly pinball) upstairs.

There's a parking lot right across the street for easy parking. I didn't try any food or drinks from the bar this time around but the staff at the entrance were nice and friendly. Overall, this place was a bit underwhelming but if you're into drinking and pinball machines, this is the place! I just wish they had a little more variety with their games.
