Today was my first time going to Blown LA after a friend told me about how amazing they are. I have to say that hands down I got the best bouncy blowout! My hairstylist was Tina, she was so sweet and kind! Loved how she was comfortable with handling my curly and voluminous hair. She didn't make any negative/snarky comments about my hair, as many hairstylist do when they see how much hair I have lol. The booking process was so easy, I booked the night before. I wandered in here on a random Saturday morning, and I honestly thought I was crashing some party. The salon was packed, and everyone seemed to know each other. And from the crowd, Lina emerged and asked me if I needed anything. She happen to have a cancellation, so she was able to take me for a blow out. I sat down to get my hair washed, and I got the best scalp massage that I didn't even have to ask for, and I was like OMG I am never going anywhere else! Walked out of Blown LA that day and been going back ever since! I recently took my sister with me, and now she already went back with out me! Lina is wonderful. She is kind, funny, and feels like a friend is doing my hair. I feel so relaxed and chill when I am at this salon. The vibe of the staff is also really great. I am always offered water to drink while I get my hair done. Parking is great right across the street. I am going this week to get a blow out + haircut with Pat, which I am so looking forward to. I love that you can book and modify appointments online via their website. Makes it so easy! Overall, I love my hair every time I leave this salon. Just WOWWW! Requested a last minute appointment (within the next 15 mins) and Lina (owner) was able to get me an appointment asap. I wanted a spur of the moment service before going back home (I live out of town.) The salon is so beautiful, elegant, and clean. I definitely felt luxurious being in her chair. Lina shampooed me very well and gave me a bouncy blowout. I have short hair and it definitely smoothed out my hair and added some volume! My hair now feels so light, yet voluminous. :) The service only took about 30 minutes which was great because I was on a time crunch. I asked her for a shampoo recommendation for my frizzy hair and she gave me 20% off when I purchased the product. My first time here and I am obsessed. If you're a blow dry lover like me, you know how hard it is to find a good go-to spot. Every part of the process was amazing. From the second I walked in the door I was offered a variety of cold beverages, seated immediately, hair washed and conditioned perfectly (I'm very picky with how my hair is washed), and my blow dry was perfect. They lie r forgot to tell me that id be charged $350 for color ( a few high lights around my face but she dried / fried my hair then was to late .
