I asked Lucine to trim 4" of my dead ends. My hair was down to my chest. Not only did she give me a bob and cut double of what I asked, but the layers she gave me are the most uneven weird looking layers I've ever seen. I can't style my hair anymore, and I went to Drybar and they were having a hard time also. This was the worst haircut I've ever had. The worst part is that the shortest layer is so short that I can't even go get it fixed because I don't want it any shorter. I went to her because she had good reviews. I wanted to support this local business, Unfortunately, my experience was positive and girls were very nice. My issue is the pricing was told 185.00 I went in for a color service and was informed that my hair couldn't be bleached because it turned pink during a test. Instead, they decided to touch parts of my hair that was black. It was not on the root. However, the cut I received was minimal--barely a thumbprint's worth was trimmed. When it came time to pay, I was shocked by the total. There was no mention of additional charges for the cut, but the final bill came to $275. This left me feeling overcharged and disappointed, as the services didn't match the quoted prices. One stylist started on my hair cut, had to leave in the middle of it, I had to wait for another stylist to finish with the client she had started with then she graciously finished my cut. Applied no heat protection, serum or any type of hair product, straightened it and finished. While the experience wasn't great, the cut it self wasn't the worst.
