Right before Covid 19 situation got bad in FL, I went here for a wash and blowdry. I was able to make my appointment within a day and they were very accommodating. The hairstylist worked her magic and my hair felt light and airy. She took her time with the shampooing and conditioning. She asked me how I wanted it to be blowdryer, and I told her I wanted a few waves towards the ends. I got my hair done for a lunch party at a friends house. The end curls lasted the entire day. It was a great look and I appreciated it. Highly recommend this place. The only thing I wish they had was a bigger parking lot, finding a parking spot was a hassle, hope they can work that out. I would highly recommend this place for a blowout. I have visited here several times and have been impressed with each visit. It's relatively easy to schedule a same day appointment, but I can imagine that on weekends and during the holidays, it may be a bit challenging. The salon itself is clean and bright, and the customer service is wonderful. I usually go with a standard blowout, lots of volume and a flip at my ends. But I have seen other customers leave with beachy waves and curls, both of which also look great. Although I have seen several stylists here, I highly recommend Evan! I think the service and the place was great. My stylist spent a good 45 minutes styling and washing my hair. However I have fine, naturally straight and soft hair and was looking for a wavy blowout for a party. It kind of looks no different than if I used a straightener and did it myself. They are following the Covid procedures. Wear a mask (you and the stylist), sanitizing the stations and hand sanitizer! This has been my go to blow dry place for a very long time and want that to remain that way! They are very friendly and very nice! Saturday was my first time there as I was looking for a blowout. When I made the appointment they told me my blowout would be $40. I got there and the salon was very nice. Donna who did my blowout asked me if I wanted a straightener run through my hair. Of course I said yes. When I went to pay my blowout went from $40 to $55. I was never told that the straightening was extra. My hair is naturally straight and could have straightened my own hair at home and saved me the extra $15. She should have told me that was going to be extra. I felt duped! read more

So, I think the stylists are great here. And the ones I have been to really are careful with not pulling the hair and being gentle. Im removing a star because of a few reasons: I booked online my first time - and I didn't see any added place for curling the hair so I just did a blow dry. (I have shoulder length hair). When I sat in my chair my stylist was saying how I wasn't booked for curls and she didn't have time to do it since I didn't book it. I explained to her I did look online to add curling but it was nowhere and she asked me to show her and then apologized to me because she said it was managements fault for not having it on the site. Management said to just book how I did and then add in the notes that I would like to have curls. So my next appointment I did just that. And same thing happened. The management said "oh we don't look at the notes until the same day and we're booked" and I told her she was the person who told me to put in the notes I'd like to have curls added last time I spoke with her. She remembered and apologized. What I don't like is they blamed me both times, when they should have this fixed on the site or just take down online booking. Maybe I should have called the second time- but when I'm running around at work with 38193 things, booking online when I have a second is nice for me. Another thing that I'm a little sour with is that they charge additional for heating tools. Most of the other blow dry bars have that included. $55 for a blow dry for shoulder length hair is a little pricey- but ok I'll do it. But $65 for my hair, that's silly. Overall, I think the stylists themselves do good work, but I hope management fixes their online booking, and doesn't put the blame on the customer for a mistake like that. read more

I have never had a worse blow out experience in my life. If I could give zero stars I would. First off, it took over an hour for a simple blow out. My hair is not even long so I'm not sure why the time was drastic. Secondly, the lady doing my hair did such a terrible job that another lady had to take over toward the end. It literally looked like I stuck my finger in a socket and was electrocuted and still does despite two individuals working on my hair to get it somewhat "tamed". This place is the biggest waste of money and I am never going back again. There are plenty of other places in Boca that can provide excellent service in less than half the time. I went back again to Blowzone after receiving a call directly from the manager. She was very understanding of the situation and offered to give me a free treatment. You can see my original review below but after being contacted by the owner I went back today and had a good experience. What I appreciate most is their willingness to make me happy. Good customer service goes along way. Since I don't have super long or thick hair - I do think $40 plus tip is a lot for my hair style - but for special occasions - I recommend. Blowzone is just okay. Blow to Paris is much better and less money. I had a gift card here for several blow outs. Each time I felt it wasn't completely dry and I had to go home and fix it. And these are $40 blow outs. I also tried the make up for eyes only and again went home having to adjust it. I probably just need to be more vocal about what I want. But a few issues I have are they lost my appointment once and they charged an extra $10 Without telling me to put a halo in. They didn't put the halo in correctly and I offered to do it myself but she said she could do it. When I went home I had to take it out and put it back on correctly. Plus I had no idea they would charge for this. Overall as I said blow to Paris is better. I would only come back if I had zero options. read more

Worst blow out I've ever had. I tried this place because of the good reviews only to be so terribly disappointed and feeling ripped off. I get my hair blown out often. But when a favorite place of mine was booked and I needed something quick before going on vacation, I figured I would try this place. I have long thick coarse never dyed, young healthy hair. It doesn't blow out like the average middle aged thin short hair. It's a totally different beast. It holds curl beautifully without having to do any crazy tricks. It will snarl if rolled up with a tight round brush - needs to be in larger sections with a wide round brush. To be helpful, I tried to offer some suggestions and corrections to things that were being done with my hair as they were happening. I've been there and done that. I know what my hair responds well to and what it does not. I knew that the method being used would result in incredibly FRIZZY hair at the top around the crown and hair line, and also at the ends. It looks like my hair was in an electrical socket. The appointment also was ABSURDLY long. My hair is usually done in 1/3 the time at another salon and when I do it at home. The appointment ended rushed because I was finally like "I need to go...now" and I told the stylist I would fix it at home. What bothers me the most is that nothing was done to make things right. I made it clear I was unhappy with it and said I would find another way to fix my hair. I also told the receptionist I will not be back again. But yet she still took my card and charged me the full amount, didn't apologize and didn't care to know what was wrong. $40 isn't bad and is very standard around boca for a blowout. But the lack of customer service and the terrible styling service are reasons to AVOID this place. read more

Best place for a blow out in boca. I'm a big fan of getting my hair blown out but I'm semi picky about where I go. I was so happy with this place! It's ADORABLE inside. They offer you a complimentary beverage when you get there: water, champagne, or coffee. Everyone's nice and makes you feel really comfortable. I was able to call and make an appointment same day.
