If you get the 16 dollar Carwash, the rollers don't go down to dry your car and windshield. If you get the 18 dollar Carwash, they do. That's absolutely wild! Having to pay extra to dry the car is insane. The employees insist on helping you pay so they can pitch the monthly memberships. 5 negative stars, if I could. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT from 3 years ago, that the staff now have zero customer service skills. My most recent experience at this place was extremely discouraging; the so called "manager" Luis Gonzalez (most likely fake name) shady wearing fake Burberry attire individual was rude and demeaning. On 5/2 around 3 p.m. I went to wash my car and the youngster employee opened the large metal trash doors, failed to secure them, damaging my car's door. Instead of taking ownership and having a calm demeanor he came with a bottle of thinner to loudly say that there was already damage to my car and that it was only the paint. There was damage to my car, I will not deny but I have pictures of the specific damage that the blue door caused so asked for the carwash's liability insurance for record-keeping but he blatantly refused walked away and said to call the police if i wanted to, which to me was uncalled for, there was zero need for the police to come and waste their time on such a minor inconvenience hut because he said multiple time "call the police" multiple times, i did and they came, which was appreciated. If that subpar "manager" would not have been so abrupt and ignorant, Blu Carwash would not be dealing with this. If the owner sees this please send him to customer service training, he is costing you customers because after this incident I am canceling my monthly membership, as well as my family's, I am actively searching for a new place that respects customers. read more

I came in for a single car wash, but instead of being offered that option, I was signed up for the monthly plan and told to just cancel it later since it was cheaper anyway. I went along with it. When I tried to cancel, I couldn't get anyone to help. I called multiple times with no answer, wrote in and never got a response, and finally went in person when I was back in town only to be told a manager had to be there to process a refund, and no manager was available.. It shouldn't be this hard to cancel a plan or get a refund. Staff should be trained to handle refunds without requiring a manager to be physically present, and calls or messages from customers should actually get a response. Needed a quick wash while I was in the area and found this to be the closest. The location is easy to get to and someone was at the gates right before the car wash to assist with selecting which wash and providing a wipe for the dashboard. I chose the base option for $10 and at the start of the wash, there was an attendant with a brush that scrubbed down the back window. Not the greatest, but the car came out acceptably clean. I've been to better that were similarly priced. Of the two vacuums I had access to, one was broken missing the attachment so I had to vacuum with just the tube. The towels were well stocked and clean. Overall acceptable for the price IMO. read more

CHECK YOUR BANK/CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS I went to this car wash on September 9th and was aggressively pressured by an employee to sign up for a monthly membership. I said no multiple times, *very clearly*, before he finally let me proceed with a one-time wash. Fast forward to October 20th: I came back for another wash (my first visit since September), and the gate automatically opened as if I had a membership. When I asked the manager to check, he confirmed that I had indeed been enrolled in a membership on September 9th... without my consent. The manager was apologetic, cancelled the membership, and said if I'd been charged he would refund me in cash. He also gave me a free car wash for the inconvenience. When I checked my statement, I found two unauthorized $28.99 charges (September 9th and October 9th) from "BLU EXPRESS CAR WASHPLACENTIA CA." I went back for the refund, but the manager was not there. The employees who helped me were really kind, but they could only locate one charge. After calling the manager, he said he'd only refund one month. I showed proof of both charges, and after some back and forth with the manager, he agreed to refund both -- but only if I paid for the "free" wash he'd already given me. So now I've had to open a fraud dispute with my credit card company to get my full refund. This is extremely disappointing. I had always liked this location, but after being signed up for a membership without permission, and then being given the runaround when trying to resolve it, I won't be coming back. Yes, I do want a scrub A scrub always gets the dirt off of my car... Wash under 5 minutes caught my attention, you got me! I took longer vacuuming the car. There was a person who scrubs your windshields both front and rear. As well as a person who dries off excess water which is very helpful. Pay like any drive thru you have wash options. Very similar to other wash prices. Plenty of vacuums as well as air to wipe off any other water beading on your car. They also have mat holders for you to really clean between the cracks. I know this reviews going no where but multiple times one of the workers (tattooed, probably the manager/ owner's son) tried to harass me into getting their monthly membership. This last time he or whoever really hit my last straw, he told me they had already registered my license plate and offered a "$10 premium wash" (normally $20+). When I asked if this deal would enroll me in a subscription, he admitted it would, but only after I specifically asked. Last Saturday around 8:30 a.m., I had my car washed here. When I came out of the car wash tunnel, I noticed that my rear wiper was missing. An employee named Alex told me there was no manager available and that he couldn't do anything, taking no responsibility at all. Then he picked up my wiper from inside the car wash and claimed that it was "fine," which was completely unreasonable. When I tried to put it back on, it was loose and would not fit securely, leaving the wiper unstable. Yet he still insisted there was nothing wrong. I also filed a complaint through the website, but I never received any response. This car wash is completely irresponsible. The owner never reached out, employees were not knowledgeable enough to assist. They give you a wrapped dashboard wipe and air freshener with every wash regardless of price. And as with most car wash places of this type, there are two higher price options that give you more add-ons such as waxes, sealers, tire gloss, etc and they also have a monthly membership option. There are covered parking spots to dry off your car afterwards and each station has vacuums on both sides of each spot.
