Food was amazing! New to UTC and excited to try more of their food. It all looks delicious!

Hubby and I decided to pop up at the Blu Kouzina for late dinner. The experience was great. The food was delicious! The kitchen manager came out to talk to us to make sure they did a great job. The decor is beautiful! I love the pink tree. It gave me some inspiration for my house.

Greek Salad - $20 - very good

Enjoyed dinner here with 24 women on a Wednesday night. We were sat at 2 long tables by the outdoors so it was nice to dine in while having open outdoor space next to us. They offer HH but I didn't get a chance to see the menu other than it's from 3-6. We were given filtered tap water in bottles on our tables & rolls with a great olive oil dipping sauce. The rolls were terrible & not worth the carbs. Wish they would have served pita instead. They offer specials which were quite high in price & on their regular menu, they have a great variety of salads, apps, wraps, & entrees. I opted for the classic Greek salad. It was good. My friend got the roast chicken entree & absolutely loved it. The meat fell off the bone easily. Other women by me really enjoyed the chicken wrap, steak wrap, & spanakopita. I walked by someone enjoying what looked like a lamb shank & it looked great! However, those astronomical prices for the entree's prevented me from ordering them. Service was fantastic & the atmosphere is beautiful! Go check it out!

Daily special: Veal chop with salad.

Luka and Heather were amazing servers. So friendly and helpful in ordering a fabulous dinner for 7 for a lovely friend's birthday dinner. The food was spectacular and we enjoyed all the appetizers and dinner. This is the perfect place for a group dinner, highly recommend.

Love Blu, their ambiance, and love the servers. We have sat outside and inside. Fun to people watch outside. It is a bit pricey.

Food was mediocre and the server kept messing up. It wasn't busy either. Not worth the money.

Bright tile, plants everywhere, wicker chairs, color on color, but nothing feels forced. It is casual, comfortable, and still sharp enough to make lunch feel like a proper little escape. Lisette took great care of us, and the whole meal had that confident, spice-forward rhythm that makes this place easy to recommend. The Sweet Corn hummus was the sleeper hit, creamy and bright with just enough chili and lime to wake everything up. The Spice Boys Burger is absolutely worth ordering, especially if you want something familiar that still has personality. The Falafel Bowl with harissa was fresh, colorful, and loaded with texture, and the pita on the side made it even better. I also loved the dragon fruit hibiscus iced tea, which was refreshing without being boring. Bonus points for being kid-friendly without watering down the menu. The kids had the kids' nuggets, a kids' cheeseburger, and finished with the pretzel cookie, so the table covered a little bit of everything. For the quality, portions, atmosphere, and service, it felt like a meal worth coming back for. This is the kind of Sarasota spot that makes you start planning the next order before you've even left.

We especially love their Greek lemon chicken soup and the Chicken Greek pasta, and the mixed grill platter was excellent. Today we came for lunch, and Kish was our server. She was very kind, attentive, sincere, and truly made us feel comfortable. Her service stood out so much that I wanted to take the time to write this review. We really appreciate people like her who really taking time to do good job and service.

The salmon dish is truly delectable and I love the accompaniments of an arugula salad and the gigantes (large runner beans). The salmon portion is great, is cooked medium with nice seasoning and flavor. The gigantes melt in your mouth and the salad side consists of fresh and nicely dressed greens. When faced with the decision for dessert, our server suggested the crepes that are on the. Brunch menu (as we were there on a Sunday). The crepes were à la mode and filled with a sublime vanilla crème and came with a bananas foster sauce which was rich and indulgent. I will definitely return to try new menu items and order my standby favorites as well. Thanks!

A quick Google search did not disappoint. I happened to be right across from a beautiful shopping center and spotted this stunning Greek restaurant. Mediterranean cuisine is my absolute favorite, so I was immediately excited. The only catch? I was cutting it close. They close at 9:00 PM on Thursdays, and I was just seven minutes away with about 30 minutes to spare. I decided to take my chances -- and I'm so glad I did. I sat at the bar and was warmly greeted by a very kind and welcoming bartender. I ordered two glasses of Pinot Grigio and an incredible platter with hummus, chicken skewers, olives, and sliced meats. The platter looked intimidating in the photo, but it's absolutely manageable for one person -- just be warned, the pita bread will fill you up quickly! Even though I felt a little guilty arriving close to closing and staying a bit past 9 to finish, the staff never made me feel rushed. If I hadn't felt bad about the timing, I absolutely would have ordered dessert -- and probably an espresso martini to top it off. Now I know for next time I'm back on the West Coast. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed with a classy, upscale feel -- even though I showed up looking like I had just survived a road trip (because I had). There's only so much glamour you can maintain after three hours in the car. I highly recommend coming here for dinner and then walking around the shopping area afterward. It's exactly my kind of shopping destination -- you truly have everything you could think of in one place. I just wish we had something like this closer to home.
