A light sweet dish where ingredience (some veghie and sauce) blend in just right. Not necessary a wow dish (because that is seafood) , but my first thought is I have not eat a crab sanwitch this good ever. We also. Have clam chowder with fry oyster combo. Clam Chowder is top notch. Hearty, creamy, you get clam almost every scoop. Savory enough to be just right and want to have the next scoop. And very importantly,.filling. Fry oyster is also very juicy and well breaded. There is couple catch in this experience thou, they are more a seafood shop than a resturant, so they have seafood shop service and ambiance. When we are there (first customer in the morning) they already run out (to be precise, we took the last two) oyster, so you have to be flexible as some seafood is just not available all the time. Japanese grocery mostly dried foods and snack is pretty limited. I found dried seaweed, some rice crackers I haven't seen at other stores. The price for Japanese grocery is about the same. This store is pretty small but has lots of potential. The staff were very nice even letting us in before the store opened.

Live and fresh is always better if you don't mind splurging and the price per pound which included scaling and gutting the fish was fair considering what larger places like Tnt were charging for live rock fish. I would recommend this place if your favourite fish market in Vancouver Chinatown doesn't have what you are looking for, they had a large tank full of live king crab while I was there as well.

I've known about this place for a while but was never a fish eater until recently so I tried it out…read morelast week. I don't know about there other stuff but their salmon is no good. They also lied to me and hesitantly said their salmon is wild instead of farm when I asked. Sort of my fault for buying it still since I saw that the salmon was bright orange instead of dark orange/red like how wild salmon should be but I guess I'm a sucker. Not to mention it had a fishy smell when I brought it home and it did not taste very good at all.
