They told me to grab one of their clean towels to scrub the bird droppings off. They had at least 4 workers there with little traffic coming through the wash. So they were not busy. In fact they were walking around looking for trash to pick up to appear busy. I'm 68. And while I can scrub my car, should I after paying extra for their "the works" wash? Their young and capable, but apparently not willing to actually work.

Being able to use the towels to clean was an added benefit I didn't know I needed, but sure appreciated. The mat wash is a great feature. It is so simple to insert the mats in the machines for a quick cleanse. However, I noticed a person inserted his mat in the wrong machine (they have one for molded mats and one for straight mats) and it got stuck. The machines clearly state which mats are meant to be inserted or not inserted.

The two guys working were really friendly. They seem to do a thorough job with the sprayer on the front and the back of the car to get the bugs off. We have been traveling, driving, for about 8 hours so we had a lot of bugs on the front. It's a traditional drive-through car wash, where the machine hooks your car and pulls you through while you're in neutral. After the two days sprayed the front of the back, then the drive-through car wash, one of the guys came around the other side and wiped down the mirrors and the sides. We actually thought this was pretty good. And they do have a monthly unlimited car wash for $19.95.

Update. Valley Car Wash's car wash door damaged my car. ( see another post ). My insurance company…read moresays they have had a few discussions with the owner Matt Smey to collect, but he just gives them lip service and won't resolve the claim in an honorable way. Progressive is going to send them to collections now and I will happily be suing them in small claims court. This is all over a measly $1500 of damage.
