The super friendly owners spend the time to talk about the farm and the animals. They offer many interactive programs for kids.

Keep in mind that there is a "Jones Family Farm Pumpkinseed Hill" at 120 Beardsley Rd., and then the "Jones Valley Farm/Jones Winery" at 606 Walnut Tree Rd. My GPS accidentally took me to the Pumpkinseed Farm at first, but it wasn't a big deal because the winery is just a few minutes away. Once I was in the right place, a staff member greeted me and gave me the wine/food menu. They have a lot of different areas to sit, including a patio with tables/umbrellas (where they had live music playing), a pavilion with tables underneath, an upper patio that was covered by a pergola with leaves/vines on top, and an inside bar area with seating. The inside bar area has garage doors that were open, leading out to the upper patio. Even though it was a hot day, I sat under the pergola and it was surprisingly cool underneath! After sitting down, a staff member quickly came over and took my drink/food order. I tried a glass of the Sunshine White, which was delicious! It was on the sweeter side though. Keep in mind that they only sell wine by the glass on the menu, but they do have a store where you can buy bottles to go. I also ordered the Simply Cheese Plate, which came with sharp cheddar cheese, Jones Berry Chutney, and sea salt crackers. This was excellent! They also do have a "Light Fare" menu with things like a hummus plate, cheesecake, popcorn, etc. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. They had a "Bouquet Bar" set up where you could buy fresh cut flowers, as well as a small gift shop. Overall a very cool winery in Shelton, I would definitely recommend!

Upon entering, the entire left wall is covered with candies and sweets, to the right are aisles of different packaged foods (chips, crackers, jelly, cookies, etc.), cold drinks, teas, and even an area with frozen (Bangers) and other cold items. There is even a small section of gift items and toiletries from the UK. This is a great place to come if you have a homesick friend or family member and you want to create a gift to remind them of home. It is also a great place to find all of the snacks you've heard of but didn't know where to find them. I was even lucky enough to find my (Canadian) Coffee Crisp bar. The ladies at the counter told me that it had been a while since they've gotten them into the store. I didn't want to be greedy, so I only bought four. I'll definitely be back for more.

Gourmet United is at once a catering and meal delivery service, and a takeout restaurant. The menu is one of Indian and Mexican food - you can either order online or in person, though it seemed they had more items on the in-store menu that weren't available online. We had: - Vegetable curry bowl with naan - it was piping hot and the flavor was good - Butter chicken flatbread - not too much chicken but very cheesy - Cold brew coffee - Masala milk chai. Drinks are premade and not coffee shop quality, but aren't terrible either We like it hot hot hot! So they gave us a side of legit hot minced peppers and an Indian hot sauce too. There's covered outdoor seating. A solid option if you're looking for something quick and casual in the area, or are visiting the attraction farm.

I placed an order for one curry dish, and chicken wings, and waited 45 mins before getting my food. They did have a slew of delivery orders coming in, which is a good thing, but maybe more staff needs to be hired. There were only two cooks working. The curry dish was good, but the wings were so spicy (and I love spicy) I was shocked because I didn't order them extra spicy or anything. Unfortunately the level of spice was so high I couldn't even taste the other food and tell whether I liked it or not lol. I will be back to try the Mexican half of the menu, and maybe sit outside in the summer. Hopefully these are kinks that can be worked out.
