During our time in PV, we visited Blue Chairs Resort for a variety of reasons, but most of them were to sit in those famous blue chairs on the beach, order cocktails and quesadillas, people watch and on occasion, get a nice beachside massage! During specialty weeks, this portion of the back can be packed, so be ready and come prepared. On our last beach day of the trip, we waited about 15 minutes for a section of seating to open up for seven of us. The staff was super helpful with finding us a good spot and squeezing in enough seats and side tables. We had one main server, but several came by and would assist as needed. We hung out for a few hours, grabbed a few buckets of beers, margaritas, cocktails and a round of chicken and steak quesadillas. For our multi-hour beach day, it cost us as a group around $200. Which was a phenomenal treat for us! The resort is located in the heart of the Zona Romantica and is a landmark for all who visit PV. We encountered or enjoyed Blue Chairs on several occasions during out trip whether it be hanging out on the beach, getting drinks to go or wandering around. Overall, Blue Chairs is iconic in PV. It's perfect for a beach day! Friendly and accommodating staff with good food and strong drinks!

Life's a beach and at Blue Chairs resort it's exactly that and then some. We had a great stay at a great deal. Everyone we met and interacted with each day was nothing such of amazing. After we checked in and set our luggage down and hang a few things we relaxed for a second before having our first drinks and eats of our vacay/getaway on the beach in the blue chairs ;D - we keep it lite with appetizers. The patatas fritas (chips) y guacamole esta perfecto. And don't even get me started on those margaritas. The crashing raves, the beach service, the perfect weather and the sun under umbrellas, holding hands... What more could we want. At Blue Chairs aside from their restaurant & resort you have access to pools, rooftop decks, rooftop bar, entertainment including drag shows, drag brunch, dancers, performances, buffet brunch, spa, and more. In our room we had a nice balcony view of the beach and just outside our door we had a great view of neighbor resorts and hotels as well as main floor pool below for BCR. The provide you with wrist bands during your stay and after two days you pretty much see or interact with majority of the staff. Being an adults only LGBTQ+ friendly hotel where, "authenticity and diversity come together to create an exceptional experience." It's hard not to enjoy yourself and make the best of your stay. We only had one room card between us, but we were pretty much inseparable the entire time we were in PV. The beds are on the full side for double bed rooms and the king beds are solid. You have a few upgraded options as well for suites and such. The elevator had a maintenance issue once while we were there but it was resolved. Being an older resort/hotel there is definitely room for tlc (watch your step for a few big chipping spots or cracks (not too too many)... but the location, the atmosphere and rate you can't beat. Wi-Fi helped a lot, but was spotty in places for sure. Perfect on the main level as well as at the beach. Water pressure was nice and you can tell they're definitely trying to make improvements more and more. Easy to get or request a rideshare or taxi to and from the hotel especially for the airport. There's a pharmacy and few places that stay open all night/very late just next to Blue Chairs as well as lots of neighboring resorts or hotels we had a meal or drink at. We got in on a Friday and it was definitely the busiest night especially closer to all happenings in Zona Romántica, Puerto Vallarta. Saturday was surprisingly quite - Sunday was a bit mixed. We went just before Beef Dip/Bear Week so it wasn't as busy as it can get, which made it easy to partake and get into a lot of/most places closeby. After the cartel fires and violence in Feb we decided not stay that week. The hotel refused to refund us then. We agreed to reschedule for this week. I had the chicken verde enchiladas which came with refried beans. I thought the enchiladas were okay, but there certainly were some tough pieces of chicken in there. The beans were more like a sauce but they were edible. All in all for the price it was okay but it's kind of a one and done thing for us. read more

We use the blue chairs beach club when we are in town. We often have Lunch and drinks and spend quite a lot of money. Today we were a little short and only gave a 10 peso tip. The manager told us to leave and not return. Or if so there would be a 360 peso minimum. Not sure what his problem is, but he needs to be fired. read more

This is my fourth time staying at Blue Chairs and so I know what to expect and I am very happy to stay here again. First, let me clear up some issues noted in other reviews: 1. Joselo at the front desk is exceptional and helped me whenever I requested help. Whether it be with locking up my valuables, asking directions, getting taxi, or any other task. He is simply - the best! 2. The elevator works and actually looks pretty new! 3. Plenty of hot water in my room. 4. Hotel security was top notch and I always felt safe. 5. Housekeeping was so nice and serviced my room everyday. 6. Location, location, location - I love the Blue Chairs Beach Club. And yes, if you are kind to staff and appropriately tip, then they will go out of their way to get you a prime beach spot. That's how it works everywhere. 7. Blue Chairs is one of the original gay hotels and yes it is a bit run down. But it is very clean! I don't stay in my room much as I love to explore the neighborhoods, go to the beach, try great food, and bar hop. So what I want is a clean room that is comfortable and safe. When I booked my stay at Blue Chairs Resort by the Sea in Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romántica, I was genuinely excited. The website promised a "luxurious suite" with ocean views and modern comforts, and the beach club was marketed as a vibrant hub of energy and inclusivity. But from the moment I checked in, it became painfully clear that the polished photos and flowery descriptions were far removed from reality. The Suite: Not Luxurious, Just Neglected The room I booked looked stunning online -- clean lines, stylish décor, and a premium location steps from the beach. But in person, it told a very different story. The suite was in poor condition: Broken tiles throughout the space posed a safety hazard and made the room feel worn and unkempt. Mold in the bathroom sink was not only disgusting but also a clear sign of poor upkeep. Shockingly, there were exposed water lines near the bed, which is both unsightly and potentially dangerous. The room also had a persistent musty smell that no amount of open windows or air conditioning could fix. The photos I took during my stay completely contradict what's shown on their website -- a major case of misrepresentation. This was not a luxurious suite; it was a neglected, rundown room badly in need of renovation and deep cleaning. Beach Club: Loud, Overcrowded, and Uncomfortable The beach club is marketed as a lively, fun, inclusive space -- and for some, it might be. But during my visit, it was consistently overcrowded, with hardly any space to sit or relax. The energy was less "social fun" and more "nonstop chaos," with loud music and little room to breathe. Even more concerning was the overtly sexualized atmosphere, where some guests seemed to view others less as people and more as objects -- with comments and behavior that felt invasive and disrespectful. For those hoping for a classy or even just comfortable beach experience, this wasn't it. The Area: Constant Pressure and Drug Offers While Zona Romántica is known for its nightlife, what I experienced near Blue Chairs was far from fun. I was approached multiple times a day by individuals selling drugs, often aggressively. This happened right outside the hotel and continued into the surrounding streets, making it feel unsafe -- especially if you're just out for a quiet walk or heading to dinner. Final Thoughts Blue Chairs Hotel thrives on its legacy and clever marketing, but in reality, it feels like it's coasting on its name without investing in quality or guest experience. The room was in poor condition (I have the photos to prove it), the beach club was overcrowded and uncomfortable, and the surrounding area had an edge that felt unsafe and unpoliced. Unless you're specifically looking for a party-centric, no-frills experience and are willing to overlook serious maintenance and safety issues, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere in Puerto Vallarta. There are plenty of other LGBTQ-friendly properties in the area that offer fun, comfort, and honesty -- something Blue Chairs unfortunately no longer delivers. read more

Where to begin... The sea view was not as described and pictured publicly. That was upsetting in the first few seconds. The Sea view is part of the experience. No phone in the room to reach the front desk. At the front desk, we constantly complained about basic needs. No chair in the room next to the desk. (got much later). The desk was appalling to see. Reflects an attitude, we don't care. =See picture below= Even regular PV visitors (other friends) to the resort were appalled at that desk. Every day, AND several times a day, complained about the lack of shower towels, hand towels, face towels, shower matts, and toilet paper!!. Also, shortage of shampoo and shower gel. On the first couple of days, did not even change the pillowcases. We had to ask for two glasses. Why were they not there? Rarely was the floor cleaned, upsetting. Shower curtain rack was weak and fell. Took a day to fix. Then suddenly the towel bar disappears! Who would take a towel bar? Only days later did they indicate a staff member did this, and yet they took no action. Several complaints and days later, had to force them to put one on again. The Wi-Fi was one of the worst ever experienced. The amount of time we spent complaining at the front desk about these and other things, took time and energy away from the trip. This was the most disheartening. And soured our view of beautiful PV. Customer service attitude was, we don't care. We are not accountable. Every single customer service representative was beneath any standards of care. The only consistency of customer service was there's no customer service by all. Salvador was good at pretending to help you. A smooth talker. Only with constant nagging, did he do the basic things we asked. Enrique was asked to do some basic things, several times. Nothing done, we just saw him eating at the desk. Aldo did not do anything we asked, despite indications he would be better than all the others. Others at the desk who did not do basic things we asked, were Victor and Rebecca. Which is basically the entire team for the week! The only person, heroic, if you will, who always did the things we asked, and quickly, and nudged the other staff members to do, was Francisco. But, Francisco was the Security Guard! It's not his job. But he was genuinely empathic, believed in accountability, and customer service quality. We highly praise him! Everything about customer service starts from the executive team. Clearly, management does not have a customer service ethos. Ultimately all these are their problems. To emphasize, even regular PV visitors could not believe these often shocking experiences. Obviously we'll never step foot here again when we go back to PV. Rarely post. Seasoned traveller (tens of thousands of miles). This was so uniquely bad, it had to be documented. read more

Worst hotel ever! THIS HOTEL DESPERATELY NEEDS A MAJOR RENOVATION!!! CON: The room / suite was so horrible -- i.e. the toilet did not flush (no water coming out and maintenance came to fix it twice but it kept on having issues). The shower water pressure was very low and for a couple hours there was no water at all and when we went to the reception to complain we were told that maintenance had to turn off the water above our floor due to water pressure issues (THEY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST WARN GUESTS AHEAD OF TIME FOR THE SCHEDULED WATER SHUT OFF). The bathroom door would not close at all and the hinges were about to fall off! The furnitures were very old (the drawers were very hard to open). Closet doors and inside the closet were very old , dusty, dirty, and smelly! There was also a huge accumulation of pigeon poop all over the balcony (Seems like it has not been cleaned for years). The junior suite was simply disgusting PRO: The view from our junior suite was amazing. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. There are way better and more modern hotels nearby that are 1/4 the price of the room per night. read more

They refused to give me a refund when I canceled. I booked the weekend of Thanksgiving in 2025 through expedia. Based on the country shutdown I canceled my flight and contacted the hotel to cancel the reservation. They did not reply so I contacted them again, they did not reply so I contacted them again, they did not reply so I called them. When I called them they told me that there was no one there that spoke English. So I called them back during the day a few days later and they said I have to go to Expedia to cancel it. By this time I wasted 2 weeks trying to cancel and was now within their 10-day cancellation window and Expedia could not issue a refund but reached out to the hotel saying that the hotel could offer me a refund. Expedia contacted the resort three times with no reply so I am out by $500. I will never make a reservation here again because you cannot cancel it. read more

Staff was friendly and our room was clean. Both bathrooms had issues with loose plumbing fixtures and hot water was intermittent. We paid extra for a suite with king bed which did not look like the photos on the site. View of the ocean was partial and the balcony was huge. The biggest caveat for us was that the rooftop bar is banging every night from about 6-10:30 with loud EDM music. Even with balcony doors closed and drapes pulled, there was no escaping the music to have a chill night after going out for dinner. Blue Chairs is adults only and the crowd staying there was mostly LBGTQ+. No big deal for us, but if that's not your thing, well find another place to stay. All in all, a great value for the price but make sure your room checks out when you check in and let the staff know right away you want a better room. read more

Is it a five star hotel no, but it's across from the beach, a 10 minute walk from downtown and the bars. The best part is it's adults only no children so perfect for some great R&R. they have a upper deck bar and do drag shows nightly, which is great if you don't really wanna leave the hotel at night. First let me say that the staff ( excluding the front desk) were great. Other than that, there's not much good to say about it. The building is old and tired. The door to my room had a half inch gap and people could see inside from the hallway. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. My room floor was always sandy, even after cleaning. This place is NOISY. At night I was treated to two competing thundering discos until early AM. Don't plan on trying to get any sleep. Be very careful about charging anything there. One night the credit card system and ATM mysteriously broke. Instead I had to charge my bar tab to my room. They switched the receipt and charged me double what I had ordered. Then at checkout they charged me again for it even though I showed them my paid bank statement. This place is a scam . The street outside always smelled of urine. As far as being a premium resort, they completely fail to deliver. STAY AWAY! read more

Let's just say it's a relatively inexpensive "no frills" resort but hey it's Mexico. They have some rooms that are large and nicer, but most really need a makeover desperately. We booked 3.single jr suites 6 months ahead of time, that were confirmed,.so we could each have our own room. When we arrived, they had switched one of them to a penthouse suite with 2 bedrooms for 2 people. Although it was nice, it wasn't what we asked for or reserved because we each wanted our own separate rooms. After 3 hours at the front desk and a manager, we were able to get things switched around to get what we asked for. Unreal. Secondly. the rooms at the same price (Jr suite) vary greatly One of my friends Jr Suite was over 3x the size of my corner room, yet I had the open corner terrace ocean view. His room was nicer except the ocean was only visible through glass, he did not have an open view to the ocean, only to a balcony that did not overlook the ocean. Also there was some kind of sewer smell coming through in my bathroom. Apparently a broken sewer line, my friend next door had rhe same smell. We used soap in the tub and sink drains covered by plastic bags to drown out the odor. Location is good, their beach is nice and the staff serves drinks on the beach. The damn annoying vendors will drive you nuts on the beach but that's not the resorts fault. They are considerate in the fact that at least they shut off the pounding rooftop music around 11PM, so you can at least sleep. Location in PV is good, and the bed was comfy, no phones in the rooms, just an fyi. Lovely rooftop bar with spectacular sunset views over the Pacific Very overpriced in terms of drinks and food at the resort, though. I do not plan on returning to this hotel in the future , but it's an ok place to stay, overall. read more

Terrible hotel, terrible customer service, shifty management. TLDR; Booked a suite, gave my room away. Put me in standard room, paid for a suite. Respectfully reminded them (I don't complain, I'm kind/respectful/reasonable/speak enough Spanish). They put me in a downgraded room without the kitchen and Livingroom I needed and booked for. Host told me to wait while he spoke to manager. Another hour passed, went to check in and was told he had left for the day. He just left me hanging (I'd get it if I was being a Karen or entitled American, I was not). Said they'd refund me for Saturday/Sunday night in AM. OK fine, I was exhausted. 8 AM Saturday rolls around, no manager available to process refund. Wait another hour they said, I did. Still no one. Wait a 3rd hour they said. I did. Still no one. I waited 4 hours until cabs and rooms got more expensive. The lovely bar manager came to help, phoned the owner/manager/booking-no one would be in that could help that day-weird, right? Surely you don't leave a hotel without any point of escalation on a weekend but alas. They did. Gave me a hand written guarantee of refund. Said it would be processed by Monday at the latest-nothing. 12 days later and there are still no responses to my emails at all-fully ghosted me and ripped me off for $600. We started staying at Blue Chairs hotel more than 15 years ago. It was always our favorite for the Blue Chairs bar right on the beach. Over the years maintenance has definitely lagged however their upper floor Master Suits continued to be well worth the stay. There have been MANY terrible reviews over the last year or so and when we continued to book here for the months visit our friends thought we were crazy and had not seen the reviews. They have done a GREAT job here starting to update it, including the single elevator that was so well known for the terribly stained carpet and unreliable operation. Well... now there are TWO (1) elevators and both are NEW as shown in the pictures. Fresh paint, new signs, new furniture and tile. Starting to get back to its original wonder. Great job as always on the service and clean shiny suites!!! read more

I believe it's enough to say that the "kid" from the lobby was seeking for money under the table so I could be transferred to at least decent room, next day after my arrival. The room I was staying smelled on mold and it was so without light. At the end there was no transfer. Trust me, don't stay here.. it's terrible. And then with waking up with bites that I will picture! it was my last day and didn't think much of it thought it was mosquito bites but googled and they look more like bed bug bites but idk! also my sink was leaking water all Over the floor they didn't nothing but give me a towel and say there wasn't someone to fix it I also was the only person saying in my room and had a friend over and they made them a part of my room even though they had there own room then when I tried to bring someone over from the bar they charged me 50 Dollars saying I already had someone in my room which I did not I had two friends there and we all had separate room it felt not like a dorm than a hotel and last I checked I'm an adult I'd say to stay somewhere else or stay in the upgraded rooms they have refrigerator and microwaves the regular rooms do not I only stayed there cuz my regular air bnbs were booked since it was Easter ILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN! Places is old and blight. Do not go to the bar on eighth floor they will over price you on drinks when they give you a menu that has a price on it. They are dishonest. It's the same prices that's at the beach, but somehow they charge more on the eighth floor. Honestly, this has to be easiest one of the most challenging reviews that I've ever had to write. To be frank, when I first read the reviews after booking my stay with the Blue Chairs resort I was scared shitless! To be clear the reviews did not paint the full picture of the experience with Blue Chairs. However, they were not wrong either! For starters: If you have more than two people who are guest listed on the reservation then you must pay an additional fee per night for their stay otherwise they will not be permitted into the hotel! I had read (and called to confirm) that it would be approximately $25 USD per night. When we arrived the price for the guest to come was nearly triple what we were quoted! When I asked for a receipt I was not provided one. In fact, I was told "we can't give you any receipt for this." As far as the room: For starters the rooms give you a great view of the ocean. You can hear nearly everything that goes on throughout the hotel. To be clear: the view and location are huge selling point. So take all of this with a grain of salt and consider trying for yourself. It is right across from an amazing beach. It is also just a short walk from various restaurants and bars. Misc: The elevator may have been broken / just not working properly. The pools were underwhelming. No one swam in them at all. The shows on the rooftop were pretty entertaining. It is especially beautiful at sunset. Drinks are reasonable priced! This is the absolute worst hotel I've ever seen and experienced. This is definitely a catfish hotel so don't trust the pictures on the website or travel sites. A real life version of Chilligan's Island from that episode of Martin. I went for a week vacation with my boyfriend. Right when we got there the entry lobby is already dirty with a chandelier covered with dead bugs. We were immediately disappointed when we got to the room because it looked nothing like they advertised. We had to change rooms to get one with a king bed. So the elevator doesn't work, the hallways are dark and scary, the rooms have no phones, no safes, no irons or anything. There's random holes in the walls, ceilings and doors. The balcony had a nice view but covered in bird poop and I had to scare away a bunch of pigeons to enjoy it. Then we noticed a tiny roach on the bathroom ceiling and it crawled in a hole above the light, which let us know that there would be more in there. We left to walk around downtown for dinner. The street feels sketchy and dark at night. When we came back we had to fight a gigantic black dragonfly that was on our room door. We finally killed it, went inside and found a fat cockroach in the bathroom. At that point, my boyfriend had had enough and wanted to leave. The employee at the front desk said we couldn't check out until the next morning but he would give us a bigger room and inspect it for bugs himself and he did. However, when we got to the deluxe suite, we found a dead bug on the bed! The next morning we wanted to check out and a refund. We talk to one of the managers named Shalom. She was telling us they can't give us a refund and that no one has had bug problems here, which is hard to believe since we were standing under their bug chandelier. She seemed to be lying about a lot of things as we were discussing things with her and refused to give us any money back, said we couldn't contact the general manager Jesus, and wouldn't give us a copy of our documents and complaints. I really don't recommend coming here. They are scammers. We ended up checking out and going to the Marriott for the week and had an amazing rest of our trip. read more

Currently staying here my fourth time. Every meal has been served cold so far. Wait staff doesn't care. They DO care about tips! I have been told repeatedly everyone else tips 20%, which I know isn't true, even in the States. Even staying here two weeks, we have to bribe the waiter on the beach to get chairs anywhere near the water. No hot water. The place is really run down. This will be my last time here. This was our first 6-day stay at Blue Chairs and it was amazing. Arturo, David and Luis helped make the stay amazing. A lot of people complain about the water not cold or hot, or the hotel looking older and not modern. Welp, this is Mexico, this is Old Town, and it's not the Beverly Hilton. But it IS in an excellent and safe location, it's within walking distance to all the bars, restaurants and clubs, and it's literally 4 minutes from the pier. It's a great spot and a great time. Arturo is an amazing hotel manager. Every day he checked on me and my group of 11. One day I didn't feel well, and he ordered chicken soup for me! David and Luis were amazing waiters down on the beach. Those guys work SO HARD to make sure people have a great vacation. They are funny, nice and prompt. Our room was the pent house on the 9th floor. Yeah; the elevators are slow, small and warm; but it wasn't bad at all. You come for the beach and the scene. Who cares about a few minutes in an elevator. As long as the job gets done. We loved our room. 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Huge sitting area. Totally worth it! Give blue chairs a try. Gay beach club: The staff are so friendly! You can almost always walk up and get chairs. Chairs are free to rent with purchase. The drinks are reasonable. I got food this time. My beef skewer was delicious! Great views of the ocean. The hotel features a rooftop bar which commonly hosts events. read more

how do I describe blue chairs. If you enjoy being ripped off, this is the place for you. Sunday night we purchased the brunch for 600 pesos each, plus 6 shots which should have been 1800 ($90us). My buddy was charged $213US. We even left a HUGE cash tip. Returned today to discover I was charged for the "free" tequila shot I specifically asked to NOT give me and I did not drink. Aggressive strippers who had no business stripping, and wouldn't leave our party alone. Last time EVER at this shady f'ing place. Go out of business you thieving bunch of turds . There's too many of legitimate business to give a dime to than this unethical business. FB won't allow me to give them a 1Star because they rate -40. Yes NEGATIVE 40. think about that -40. there's a reason for getting a negative score...pure shady, unethical business practices. read more

Great service, friendly staff, decent food. If you have a particular mesero you like, you can usually request them and be accommodated. Also, the masseur in the hotel, Cesar, is the best in all of Vallarta. read more

DON'T DO IT! DON'T DO IT! DON'T DO IT! This place is absolutely horrible. We were willing to look past the fact that the place was gross (beginning with the elevator that smells like a fresh/nasty fart every time you walk in) and that their is bird crap all over the "Penthouse" windows and that the windows don't close and that the furniture is all beat up and that there were handprints (that appeared to be lubed up hands) and the stairs are crumbling (up to the rooftop bar), and the fact that the pools were subpar and that the "kitchen" had no water/sink (weird). We were willing to look past all of that. Then we find out that the room didn't have Wifi (even though the website clearly said that the "Penthouse" has free wifi). Not only did they not have "free" wifi... there is no wifi at all. Part of the reason I booked BC (I don't think they have made an update to the place since Before Christ) was because I was doing a working vacation and needed access to wifi daily. The manager told me that they do have wifi but in the common areas.... How stupid is that. We ended up leaving after staying 1 night. I tried to make it fair and give them some money for the 1 night and them refund the rest, but they said nope, no refund. I told them that Chase is going to charge them back the full amount (I had already talked to Chase) and the girl just shrugged her shoulders! Please do not give this place your money, it is gross and even given the opportunity to do the right thing, they won't do it. read more

NOW FIRST LET ME STATE, that i did not stay at the hotel (i stayed at the hotel Eloisa - left a separate review for them). I did however dine and drink at the blue chairs on the beach. i was nervous because i had always thought you had to stay at the hotel to access the beach chairs, but my friend was like NNNNAAAAHHHH. so he walked up and got the servers (MIGUEL) attention and he got us 2 chairs in the middle. He asked what we would like to drink, I got the mojito and my friend wanted wine, the server was like "BOTTLE?" and we said sure.. now this was pretty funny, the server immediately perked up and was like, let me move you over here. now i was comfortable but my friend was like "LETS MOVE!!" especially because he was moving us to the front, closer to the water, with no obstruction and you can see all the guys walking back and forth. I went with the flow. now im pretty green, so initially i thought, that was nice of miguel to offer that, i of course knew that the bottle purchase played a part but also he did not have to do that and the view was much better. SIDE-NOTE But wait there's more. 30 seconds after we get situated, every manner of solicitor shows up asking if we wanted to purchase anything. he very literally placed us in the firing line for every single seller to have access to us. I could not help but to laugh, for me, i just continually said "no thank you/ no gracias" but my friend was losing it. I realized very quickly, this is part of the setup in PVR. it happens literally everywhere. if you are dining almost anywhere. a band will come and play and then demand you give them money or someone will try to get you to buy something, most especially if you are on the beach (which a lot of restaurants have set up) and to me. it is how PVR operates. everyone is in on it. BACK TO THE STORY Miguel came back with the drinks very quickly (within minutes). the mojito was very tasty and refreshing, so i know it was not the cheap stuff, which i appreciated. any of my friends will tell you, the cheap stuff does not agree with me. lollol. Miguel was very attentive. always asked how we were, and kept the drinks flowing. the only downside was he often was overly sexual with his usage of innuendos was at times offputting. now, i know what you are thinking, shut your mouth, that is part of the fun being in a gay area. And, you are right, but I'm the weird one. I could totally see that this was a skill developed overtime to enhance the interaction with the gay clientele and secure a higher gratuity. but for me (and i told him) it is not necessary ,to save it for the other patrons, whom i know required the validation. lolllol. i know. i a weird. I will say- All in all, miguel was awesome and i definitely went back partly because of him. so there you go. p.s try the fried shrimp, was so fresh and delish. read more

Beach Restaurant rip-off! Charged me $16 usd for two simple iced teas...no booze in them. Claimed they were "doubles" but were actually two regular sized plastic solo cups.Complained to waiters but they just shrugged and said we don't set the prices. read more

Reached out to Blue Chairs via email prior to stay, week of 9/4 to 9/10. Asked for room with 2 beds. Paid for room with view. We were put in room 410, facing a construction below Alamar. Drilling and hauling of sand and rocks start at around 9AM daily. When we wanted to sleep early, we can't because noise would come from Alamar's roof top and Blue Chairs' roof top till around 11:30PM... Also daily. Not the place to be if you want a relaxing chill vacation. The cold front desk guy told us that we can't change room. Never ever again. read more
