GE set us up with them after our fridge died. They came out for 5 min. And said it was the control panel and never heard from them again. Us and GE can never get a hold of them. Its been over 2 weeks. Would not recommend. read more

Well, I was very pleasantly surprised. Jimmy came by to figure out the problem with my 9 yr old Samsung fridge's ice maker. He had to order a service kit (replaced one circuit board on the back and the complete icemaker, also replaced the slide in ice tray because it broke when I pulled it out). They called when the parts were in and setup a repair date. I had to defrost my freezer/ice maker before work could start. The reschedule date was good for me. Jimmy came back, did the work in an hour and half. He communicated well with me and took all old parts, parts boxes and trash with him. He showed up on time and did a GREAT JOB! This was AHS warranty work and there were issues with Blue Collar working with AHS. I have ZERO negative comments about the whole process and would highly recommend Blue Collar to anyone & everyone. They came to repair my dryer via American Home Shield. They took it apart and put it back together. They then claimed that I had to live with the problems. I tried to use it and it now does not work. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! American Home Shield uses them and they are now skating on repairs. read more

had 3 service visits and multiple phone calls on a Washer/Dryer unit over the span of a month. Warranty company chose to ultimately replace the washer after their repair technician was only capable of partially fixing the washer. Repair technicians refused to come and accurately assess the dryer unit after we called back to inform them that that was only partially fixed, too. Repair technician stated we could use washer for small loads but neglected to properly re-attached drain hose to wall causing a leak and another massive headache with warranty company. These people do NOT know what they're doing. If you use AHS, put them on your "do not assign" list as they're reckless, lazy, and slow. 1 star but only because Yelp doesn't do 0. read more

We recently had a home warranty claim for our washing machine not functioning properly. We called AHS who dispatched Blue Collar. We were scheduled out about 7 days, however reschedule out another 4 due to about an inch of snowfall and the company being concerned about road conditions, which I can appreciate. Our washing machine was still washing clothes, we just had to be very careful about doing a small enough load that it would not cause a problem. On the day the tech arrived, they were supposed to call before their arrival, which they did not. Our doorbell rang and our dogs went crazy while we were both home working. The issue with our washer was the suspension and bearing for the drum. When the tech was done he communicated that the washer was not fixed and stated a part that was supposed to be shipped (the agitator) was not. I reviewed our dispatch only to find the agitator was not ordered. My boyfriend called the company only to find out that the tech had broken the agitator and that was why it now needed to be replaced. The person who answered the phone said the part would be in in four days and they would put us on their schedule after the part arrived and they were currently scheduling four days out. He explained that when the tech arrived our washing machine was functional before the tech arrived and when he left we were no longer able to use the washer and asked if they would make an exception and get us on the schedule before the part arrived, or at least make us a priority when the part did get it. The individual on the phone wanted to know why we were no longer able to use our washing machine and my boyfriend explained that there were broken plastic pieces and exposed metal in the bottom of the drum and there was dirt and grease all over the inside of it. This did not matter, they would not make an exception for us and we are looking at being without a functioning washing machine for at least 10 days. read more

Unable to repair Maytag fridge. 7 weeks, 3 service calls and ordering replacement parts lead to Nothing. Ice/water dispenser switch broken. Nor sure who they sent but doesnt seem to be capable of repairing this. Now the fridge stopped cooling after their tdch messed something up with the icemaker. Not what I expected. My 2 cents: run the other direction and hire someone who knows what they are doing. They were hired through HSA, and claimed the spare parts ordered to replace were broken. Not sure who is lying here but HSA homewarranty shows case closed, repaired. Would have been faster to fix it myself ;) read more
