Terrible communication!! They ignore our requests and concerns, and won't fix their mistakes.

As of August 15, 2025, one star due to lack of customer support, poor communications and inability to resolve issues. I purchased my new travel trailer on July 31, 2025. As of today, I still do not have my RV Complete account setup/active and available to use any of the benefits. When I contacted the RV Complete helpline, they could not find me in the system and directed me back to the dealer in which had to initiate account in which I have been trying to get resolved. In addition, there were a few follow up items during purchase and trailer inspection/acceptance in which I have inquired about status with dealer. Thus far it's all been one-way communications from me to dealer and no return calls, emails or resolution. UPDATE as of 8/18: Received a call back from dealer today, they are working the issues, will see how things progress. UPDATE as of 9/3: After over a month of purchasing new unit and multiple calls back and forth with Josiah and Dustin at dealership I still have two unresolved issues. I still don't have the replacement bedroom thermostat that was broken and identified as an issue during walk through of unit for acceptance. I still do not have access to my one-year VIP complimentary membership of RV Complete in which I am told starts the day you purchase the unit so each day that goes by with this issue is one less day I can use the benefits. We take our second trip with new RV next week and unfortunately unable to use the discounts at Love's or Thousand Trails. I appreciate the reply by Kevin, the third person looking into this. At this point I would just like to find the right person that can make things happen and resolve issues as lots of talk, looking into and saying they are resolving but thus far all talk and no action and outcomes for resolution. Update as of 9/10: They finally fixed RV Complete application and linked to membership. Nobody contacted me I just tried logging in again to see if fixed and noticed vehicle info linked so that has been resolved. Unfortunately instead of the one year complimentary membership I only have 10 1/2 months left. The dealership also finally sent the replacement thermostat in bedroom that was broken and identified during pre-sale inspection. For that I have went from one to two stars on review as this entire process should have been never been this difficult, in addition customer service and lack of communications has lots of room for improvement. read more

We bought a Flagstaff Classic from this Dealer and had warranty issues from the day I took it home, I opted to call the Manufacturer to get the ball rolling because the Service advisor that wrote up the warranty issue quit a week after my purchase without following up with the manufacturer. I took the RV back and they fixed all the issues in a month. Rv dealerships are in a bad position because most manufacturers are putting out $hit products and they have to take up the slack. They've got too much work and sub-par low wage grunts who aren't anything but glorified gas station attendants. The salesman have no incentive to tell you what a crappy product you're buying because that would put them out of a job and far be it from them to actually have any semblance of moral turpitude. The rv industry has taken the fun out of camping and the dealers are the ones enabling the bad industry by selling an inferior product they know is going to fall apart. read more

We were searching for RV dealerships where to do an Insurance Total Replacement via Good Sam Insurance (National General Insurance). One of the places we found was here. The previous RV dealership that was here, before Blue Compass bought them, had treated us poorly; but Salesman Ted Echard bent over backward and worked three-ways from Sunday to 'make up' for our previous experience, even though it wasn't a Blue Compass Dealership when we had the issue - he took ownership of the issue. He fully and completely explained the process, advised that they would take the one we wanted 'off the market' so no one could buy it out from under us. He was polite, friendly, professional, and I was comfortable dealing with him. read more

The level of my frustration with Blue Compass RV service department in Burleson, Texas cannot be expressed enough here. Management does not exist. Organization does not exist. Finding someone who cares about the customer, you will not find. I purchased my RV in October 2024 and brought it in on December 6 2024 to have all standard issues addressed and fixed. Today, November 10 2025, I picked up my RV hopefully for the last time after 11 months of pure battle. I have owned the RV for 13 months (339 days) and it has spent 6 months+ (188 days), off and on, in their parking lot for initial warranty repairs, repairs for problems and damage they caused in their attempt to make the repairs, and for their total lack of management, communication and organization. That's 188 days it should have been protected in my barn at my house. I have logged over 40 phone calls, 7 trips to the dealer (1hr20min ea way ea trip) because the service promised in time was never completed. Each trip we planned we were told it would be ready. Each time it was not ready. I had to pick it up and return it each time we returned from a trip. Reasons given for not having completed the repairs were repeated over and over: waiting on authorization from manufacturer for parts or service, even though I was told no less than half a dozen times authorization takes only 48 hours, there were unattended to items, items omitted, items not fixed right (some addressed 4 times, many addressed 3 times), they replaced the whole microwave because a spring broke on the door and managed to put a large dent in the refrigerator door which then took 6 months to resolve. They had to get authorization, order, and replace the entry door twice because they cut the exterior paneling too short in their attempt to repair, turns out it was a minor adjustment to the striker plate all along. I have seen 5 service mangers come and go and each time my service record was forgotten, or lost, missing items on the list, still waiting for authorization, items not communicated to the next manager... I was told the manufacturer shut down for six weeks for inventory which I verified was not true. On my final trip to bring it back in for "completion", the week of October 6, I was told all remaining parts were in and it would only be a couple of days to complete. I brought it in and all was well. I called a week later because I had not heard from them and was told the parts weren't in yet. I could go on, there is much more to tell and I am not fully vented, but I won't. I would strongly encourage anyone to steer clear of this train wreck of a company. read more

DO NOT GET AN RV from blue compass especially from Fort Worth we got a 2021 sportek with all the warranty's and have had nothing but problems out of the RV and warranty slides leak.....outside kitchen leaks into the inside of the RV almost all of the pipes leak under the sinks......Fireplace heater went out right after we got it......the shower seals around the glass doors all leak and the buttons for the awning are backwards......worst decision we've made in picking an RV lot will never purchase another and will make sure people know before they go!!!!! read more

This is the weirdest thing that's ever happened to me; most places try to close a deal as soon as you walk on the lot. My wife and I were ready to buy a travel trailer from ExploreUSA RV Supercenter in Fort Worth; we put a $250 deposit down and filled out a financing application. This was on a Sunday. Our salesman said he would email me the paperwork the next day (Monday), and we'd be able to pick it up by the end of the week so we could head out on a trip July 1st. We never heard back from him. So, I emailed a few days later and asked what was up. Apologies all around, saying they "got busy...sorry about that". Our salesman said the finance director would get the paperwork to me that day. A few days later I ask what's the hold up? Again, "apologies all around", "I got sick", "thank you for your patience", etc. "My GM is printing the paperwork now and will send to you TODAY". Anyway, to make a long story short, it is now two weeks later, and I can't get them to sell me the camper. They won't take my money. They have "ghosted" me. I don't know how they stay in business. The only thing I can think of is maybe they sold the camper to another customer at a higher price and just want me to go away. Other reviews are saying Janice is awesome...not sure I can say the same about Justin. Oh well. Hopefully I'll get my $250 back; I asked Antonio, the GM, for it today. Do not buy an RV, a coke from the coke machine, NOTHING, from these fools! Purchased a new 2022 5th wheel Alliance Valor in June of 2022. Had to take it in for.............28 items that are/were broken or not working. (And, just know the whole we went through the whole thing to make sure it was in perfect condition is a load of c);&7!?) We are at the almost (1) month period and we are picking it up early, because we literally have to have it, bc it is currently our only home because we sold our actual home. Guess what, still got a punch list of 10 or so items. No calls to let us know, nadda. Complete and totally unreliable to deal with from the word go. We will Never, NEVER, I said NEVER deal with these clowns again. I will add that we love our RV, and the manufacturer has been more responsive 6 states away than these local fools. Run, VERY FAST away from this place. read more

Blue Compass (BC) owns Explore USA FT Worth, is the worst RV company I have ever come across in 13 yrs. of RVing and ownership of 4 trailers. I know brand new trailers come with issues straight from the factory, but this is ridiculous, especially since they held up the sale for repairs before I showed up and these issues passed their final inspection. Also, be warned that BC doesn't even have a customer service number or email to complain about their dealerships. I bought a trailer from Explore USA FT Worth/ BC and it was in complete disrepair. Came from out of state for pick-up and the trailer had peeling exterior seals, doors that didn't close, peeling cabinets, rust stains running down the side, fenders loose and cracked, and it was unwashed and filthy amongst other things; this was after waiting two weeks for them to prep it for pick -up and final inspection. Don't buy the Eco-Treatment, they didn't even wash the trailer before they sealed it, so the dirt and stains were sealed into the trailer. I complained but they said they couldn't address it and to take it to another BC dealership closer to home to get it fixed. There were over 20 items needing repair and six months later I'm still trying to get them repaired by Blue Compass dealer network. It appears that their warranty work is subpar across Blue Compass network. I brought up the peeling seals and they simply silicone over the old without scraping or cleaning..WTF? They charged the manufacturer for 8 hrs. of work that probably took 2 hrs. tops....pretty shady! The first rain and the new seals peeled right off. They are Blue Compass is a horrible dealership and network and are fully incompetent. Be warned!! read more

Binding Arbitration Agreement is required to buy any RV from this company. The agreement is very far reaching, including any and "all third parties who did not sign the agreement". This overreach includes but is not limited to your finance company, the RV manufacturer, and any third party add-on companies. If you buy from them, you give up all your legal rights to recourse other than the arbitration company they choose. Read carefully and understand what you give up. There are plenty of other dealers out there. read more

Gave one star because zero isn't an option. Ft Worth location. Horrible customer service. Had our new camper for 3 weeks and took in for minor warranty work. We dropped our camper (with an appointment) on June 26th, and the Manufacture said they didn't even contact them for the warranty work until July 10th. The service manager lied and said they had contacted them and ordered the repair parts, manufacturer stated that explore usa had not ordered parts. So here we are without a fixed camper, dealer knew we needed it by July 18th, and I'm stuck fixing the problems myself. The service manager and whole department is unprofessional, not helpful, and don't count on them to contact you with updates on repairs. I honestly don't know how they are in business. Formal complaints have been submitted to their corporate office and to the camper manufacturer. read more

Extremely poor customer service. Flew from out of state for a walk through of the trailer we wanted to purchase. Specifically pointed out several items of concern and were ASSURED "every unit is thoroughly inspected from top- to-bottom, end-to-end to make sure everything is in perfect working order and every RV is cleaned prior to leaving our lot." We were told this process would take a week to complete before the trailer could be picked up by a transport company for delivery. Complete lie. NONE of the items we pointed out were addressed. We received a call from the service department telling us our trailer was ready for transport and were given two options: (1) have general paperwork sent to us for "sign off" in order for them to release the unit to transport (this would delay delivery by however long it takes FedEx or USPS to return the original, signed papers to them) OR (2), let the transport driver sign and pick up the trailer. Either way, we were forced to accept the trailer without physical inspection. Received the trailer which had not be cleaned. Period. The TVs were not strapped down for transport (one was barely hanging on by one small bolt). All but 2 screws were on the floor for the happy jack beds in the garage area; the underside of one of the happy jack beds is peeling (think 1970s contact paper); the front compartment door for the generator does not close properly; the water hose connection leaks; continual blown fuses so we have no lights in the cargo area. Contact with the dealership resulted in being told; "you accepted delivery, any issues you have are not our problem." Click. Further calls / messages have not been returned. Once you sign the papers and spend upwards of $100K, they no longer know you or acknowledge you. I couldn't in good conscience recommend using this dealership. read more

I wish I had researched this dealership closer before I bought our 2017 Heartland Northtrail travel trailer from them. The roof began leaking one month after purchase, being under warranty, I called for an appointment to get the repair done. Three weeks before I could take it in. Five weeks later the trailer is ready. Five months later, 1000 miles from dealership, middle of the night, roof starts leaking again. Return to dealer for repair. One month later they have not contacted manufacturer, two months later...waiting on parts, computers are down,we'll have to call you back. Long story short, do not expect service after the sale at this dealership or apparently this company. They have several locations across Texas, and the reviews of the service department are all the same. read more

So far so good at this dealer. We actually had left after we couldn't negotiate a deal on a used trailer, and there were other people wanting to buy it. We returned to look at other trailers and saw it was still on the lot and they worked with us and we were able to agree on a price for the trailer and our trade. We picked the trailer up a week later and I was very impressed with the cleaning and walkthrough service that was given free of charge. We were given a "starter pack". The walkthrough service cost me $500 on my last trailer and it did not come with propane fill etc. at Explore my tanks were full and the RV was clean. Janice was phenomenal for us and was a straightforward. We got more warranty than needed so we are canceling one due to double coverage but that was not something they were aware of. Service department has been great so far, we had broken furniture that we were not aware of and their walkthrough found it and replaced for us. We had one small issue with the trailer black tank registering inconsistently and a leaking grey water valve. Coach is in for service now, I will update after we pick up but I'm assuming there will be no -update, service went great. Our coach was in for a few weeks. We had a small issue that was made right so I'm keeping the 5 star rating. I've seen a lot of service centers and this one is great, a few weeks is very normal timeframe for RV service. I have seen RVs sit for months before even being looked at on service lots. I definitely recommend this place for sales and service read more

THEY ARE CROOKS!!! I was initially quoted $380 for repairs. When I went to pick my camper up they charged me $480. I asked why I didn't receive a courtesy call about the 25% increase from the original price quoted. The sales manager Robert Row became very aggressive and started insinuating that I was lying. Then he started telling me he could have up charged me on so many other things. So I could pay the $480 or pay the total with the increases. If you have to do business with this company make sure everything is on paper before you let the do anything to you camper. P.S the also put a 6" by 7" decal on my camper without my permission. read more

Then some service manager named Bobby Bowen writes to tell me if we need anything to let him know. I sent him some "needs" in writing and have NEVER heard back from him after 3 emails!! i bought a Lithium travel trailer in Feb. of this year. The brochure that I obtained with the purchase stated that a spare tire came with this purchase. There was no spare tire in the trailer so I mentioned it to the salesman he said he didnt think it came with a spare tire. I told him that it said it did in the brochure he have me and he said he would find out, I have been talking to him since Feb trying to find out the status. He told me on several occations that it's on the way. Then he told me that it got sent to another Explore USA in Texas and that he contacted them and I would have it by the coming Sat or Mon at the latest, well Sat went by Monday went by, nothing so I messaged him again that following Tuesday, didn't hear back from him. I since called the other Explore USA that he said my spare was sent to and they overnighted a tire to me that had come to them, but...it wasnt mine, this one is the wrong size. Then a week later I got a call from another person at Explore USA saying that they need the tire back that was sent to me for another customer and that he is buying me a spare for my trailer, we will see. Do not buy an RV from this dealership. They have no ability to communicate at all. We bought a brand new Volante and 2 days after we picked it up, it rained and the slide out leaked heavily. Ruined my husbands phone, which no one wants to pay for repairs. The carpets were soaked and the table was swollen from the water damage, which we still haven't received a replacement or an estimated time of arrival. The shower leaks so much we have to drain the tank every other day, even without using the shower. The TV gets 3 channels. I cant hook up my phone to it to watch Netflix. It will not allow access. They want you to get satellite. The refrigerator went out, which was full of food so we came back to spoiled food and a smelly RV. They came and picked up the RV and repaired the leak and brought it back later than promised, due to lack of communication with their towing person. Went all weekend without a fridge, living in an ice chest and not a single person from the dealership called to check on Monday if we were able to get it to work. The warranty is suppose to cover someone coming to the RV where we are to repair. That is the main reason we bought it. My husband is disabled and they are expecting him to do the repairs. WE haven't even surpassed the manufacturers warranty. There are several other places to choose from to buy an RV and I highly suggest you keep driving past this one. I did call corporate 3 times and no one has called me back so do not bother calling them to voice your concerns. Sara is the only way you will get any communication and it is limited. read more

First off, we agreed to a price and purchase the RV, but we told them not to run the paperwork through because we were about to close on our house and didn't want to explain a last minute change in our credit history. Apparently, one of the other finance guys "stole the paperwork from his desk and processed it." Then these people do not support the RV they sold us. They wait until the last piece of paper you sign at purchase to let you know that they don't service anything except at their location. We live 100 miles from the dealership and are currently staying in it with our 2 kids while our house is being built. We can't just take it in for service, and in 3 months we have had the awning pull loose from the trailer, drawer facing come off, toilet flush handle come off, LED light in the bedroom started strobing. Luckily I have been able to fix most myself, but when I tried to get a $2 LED light board they gave us a huge hassle and they are going to charge us for it. Go to any other dealership and get people that care about you. read more

We bought a $45K unit from them and we are full timers with two small kids while we are building a house. We live 75 miles from the Ft. Worth location. The light in our bedroom went out and I asked them if they could send us the light since we are so far away and we are living in our TT. They gave me so much grief about it and won't send me the $2 light unless I pay for it. Never again will I buy from this place. The customer service is horrible!!! read more

DO NOT purchase an RV from them and DEFINITELY DO NOT take your RV to them for ANY kind of service!!! We purchased a 2016 Voltage 3970 from them less than a year ago and they have had it for a total of over 3 MONTHS of that time!!! I have lost over 3 months use of my RV because of their horrendous customer service!!! They kept it the first time over 2 MONTHS, just to replace the defective bathroom door and a couple of minor warranty items. This time, they have had it a month, to work on the kitchen slide and and a factory recall item. I just received a call telling me, now they are going to have to order another part! Who knows how long it will be now??? When we were buying the Voltage, we were told by the Service Manager, " Any time you bring it in for service, you will go ahead of anyone that didn't buy from us." If that's the case, can you imagine what would happen if you took yours in for service and you DIDN'T buy from them? I promise you, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PLANET!!! I have even contacted the owner's group and STILL continue to get the worst service imaginable. Please share this with everyone you know that either, has an RV or is considering buying one. These people do not APPRECIATE your business and they certainly do not DESERVE it!!! read more

They did warranty work on my 2016 model trailer that I purchased from Explore USA and I picked it up today and got to my destination to realize they didn't give me my 50 amp power cord back!!! I specifically asked they to put the cord in the trailer and I even told crossroads corporate about how my cord had been stolen 3 times by explore USA RV dealers previously and that this time I wanted the cord to be with the trailer!! I even had it in a locked compartment and took the keys but they still managed to get it! These 50 amp cords bring a pretty penny on eBay and Craigslist... Someone at this dealership is making a nice supplemental income off keeping customers power cords!! And my cord is marked with my VIN number! read more

I purchased a unit from one of the largest companies with the cheapest prices. However, I got the run around after I signed the papers. I decided that was not the dealership I wanted to purchase from or become a part of their family. If that is how they treat their customers before they take ownership how would they treat me if I had any problems or repairs after purchase? I submitted a request online from exploreusa.com and Janice at the Fort Worth location called me within 5 minutes. Within 1 hour I purchased a better RV at the same price and I will have the unit in my hands within 2 days. They are even bringing the unit in from another location just to accommodate my color scheme. They definitely know how to treat their customers and give 5 star service! read more
