Finally had a chance to check out the Blue Cow Anacortes location last week - I really like the layout much better than the MV one (which can be hard to get into and out of on busy days. The Anacortes location is on a much bigger piece of property, with the vacuums conveniently located so you can actually get to them easily. The rest of the setup is pretty similar to MV, including self-serve and automatic car wash options, an easy check-in process (although, weirdly, the credit card option was down on the day of my visit so they were taking cash only), and you can still use your wash pass even if purchased at the other location. My biggest complaint about Blue Cow is that there aren't more of them! We could definitely use a second location in the MV area, and maybe one up in Bham too? :) read more

Your car will be clean -er.... Just had my second wash in a row here when I left with a car that was incompletely clean. Sides generally get clean, but the front, back, and corners are questionable. Not sure it's worth the money especially when I have a few scratches that I can't say for sure are from the car wash, but also can't figure out where they came from. Used to love your car wash, but every time I go it just gets worse and worse. My car leaves still looking dirty even after paying for the highest price option, the guys that scrub down the car do a half a** job, the rims always still look dirty, the bottom side panels still look dirty, so I don't know what they're even doing there, (mind you I wash my car weekly, so it's not even that dirty) then I go after hours and wanted to use the self service car wash, but you have all your vacuums blocked off. You're so concerned about non-paying customers using your vacuums that even the paying customers can't use them?.. I just left and drove out to Bubba Sudz where you can actually wash your car and vacuum it out. They don't even have the people out at the end anymore that used to dry the car at Blue Cow. They got rid of the dog wash. The wipes are always dry. The list could honestly go on and on as they keep coming to me. Sad, ya'll used to be great. I'll give it a 2 bc my daughter still likes to go through and see all the colors of the soap and the lights but besides that, ya gotta step it back up. read more

PostWash I got the $20 wash, I'd say 3/5 stars. Of course this is a drive-thru wash, it won't get everything nor the stuck on stuff. Especially the rims, no automatic machine would be able to get brake dust from a 1,400 mile drive off the rims completely. But it could've been better, maybe if the pre-soak / scrub guys could pressure wash the rims please. read more

I literally drove 25 minutes out of my way to use this car wash. Got my car washed and halfway through vacuuming it - - and they shut off the vacuums. Two kids were working - - but neither of them could give me a heads up. If that's how it works there - - it sure would've been nice to have a heads up or see hours in the vacuum center clearly posted. read more

Staying at a campground nearby and needed to wash my truck to get the leaves and sap off. For $20 , it did an excellent job.

Paid $20 and got scratches. Still had dirt on my car. Not worth the money. They had people scrubbing your car down and it still was dirty.

I do like this car wash place. I find the employees friendly but not all employees are knowledgeable in what services are provided here. The vacuums have awesome suction that will get any tiny children cracker crumbs from the carpets. They also have mat holders that make it easy to vacuum mats without hurting your back. The downside is when I looked specifically if they have upholstery vacuums (the ones that wash) their websites says they do but when I arrived they do not have that service. Unfortunately, i have to find a place to quickly eliminate the expired chocolate milk from my cars carpet. read more

I use to love this place over the one in Anacortes on commercial but they have really slacked off. No one to dry the cars and when you go in they don't scrub the tires and do the bumpers. I paid $16 twice now and my car comes out still dirty. This rating is because I reached out to the company and 3 weeks later have received no response. I paid $20 for the best car wash with hand dry. There were large spots of dirt on my car that were missed by the attendant who pre-scrubbed my car and missed by the car wash. There was no one available to hand wipe the car after. $20 is a lot to pay for a car wash that doesn't clean your car and fails to give you everything you pay for. If the owners don't acknowledge and respond to complaints how do they expect to retain customers or fix problems with their service. read more

Their website info is not is up to date, it would appear from looking at the website (see screenshot attached) that the Pet wash is open Sun 9-5. if it is closed that should be noted there, so people don't drive there to find a locked building. Also the operating hours for the Pet wash are not posted on the actual building. Since it's a Sun no one was there to ask. Also I called the contact number on the website and the voicemail is full, not accepting voicemails. Big thumbs down. read more

This place is significantly better than the place in Anacortes, so we stick with this place (you can read my review of the other place, if you're interested). There is an automatic side and a DIY side. My husband has used the DIY side several times and he said it's perfectly adequate and he hasn't had any issues. I have only used the automatic side. I have an SUV, and it gets clean every time I go through. There are 4 price options, which is nice. All in all, a perfectly adequate, easy to use car wash that gets the job done quickly. read more

I had a couple of subscriptions for my vehicles for the monthly pass. I contacted them over two months ago and asked that one of the vehicles be removed from its subscription as the vehicle is no longer in the area and thus I won't be going for weekly car washes. First of September comes along and once again they have charged my credit card $32 plus for the subscription (the prices have also gone up a lot in the last year). I contacted them again, left a message and finally someone called me back. I explained the situation and how they once again charged my credit card for both of my vehicles. She said she would look into it and called me back and said they would be issuing a credit. I did receive a credit for one car, I assume for the month of September, A week later I take my other car to the car wash and it doesn't work. One of the workers comes out to the car and then goes in to check, apparently they canceled both cars (I only received a refund for one) so now I paid for the month and am unable to get my car washed. I actually paid for a wash and went ahead and washed it as I was already in the lane. I will not be going back. I have had up to three cars on monthly subscriptions for the past several years. After I left the car wash, I again called their number and explained what happened and to this date I have not received a call back. I've waited 10 days to post this in the hopes the owners would try to contact me to correct the situation. read more

NO! Just NO! On the way to a wedding in Anacortes I decided to stop here for a car wash, what a huge mistake! whatever cheap products they use took a complete and expensive detail and wax job to remove! I noticed when I got to my destination and I saw the paint in the sunlight a weird haze film all over my X5, I rewashed it the next day at home 3 different times and it just got worse and more worse. Upon calling and asking what the hell they use and told how bad my rig now looks, a kid gave a proverbial too bad so sad. $400 bucks later we finally got the funky film off. Probably the worst business owner in the Skagit Valley. I purchased a monthly membership for car washes this summer and canceled it at the end of August. Since then, they have charged my credit card every month, and refused to answer both my calls and emails in regards to their theft. I will be filing a complaint against them with the BBB and our state attorney generals office. I am giving a poor review because I am being charged a monthly fee which I was unaware I would be charged when signing up for the 30 day pass. My understanding of a 30 day pass was that I would get unlimited car washes within a 30 day window and that would be that. This is not the case. I have reached out to the owners/managers in hopes that this issue can be resolved. This review is not about the car wash itself. I've used the carwash and had no problem with it. This is reviewing vacuum station. I needed to vacuum my car before I was driving someone to the airport. I was aware that it takes 6 quarters for 4 minutes so I brought 12 quarters with me. My car was fairly clean and I just wanted to get some pine needles out that had accumulated. I put the first set of quarters in and it took me 2 minutes to realize the vacuum wasn't even on but the scrubber hose was on. So by the time I switched it I only got 2 minutes out of the $1.50 I had paid. So I started putting the second set of quarters in. This time it ate one of my quarters. And there is no coin release so you can't get the change out after you put it in. I would have put dollars in but it doesn't give change. And I only had a ten or twenty dollar bill with me. Err. I go to over to the little office thing and the change machine is out of order. I was able to scrounge up 3 dimes in my car but the coin dispenser only takes quarters! Ok so I go over to the little office, explain my situation and they don't even want to help me! Finally I get my quarter and go over to finish my car. So frustrating. Seems like their trying to bum any way they can and if they were just a little helpful they could get customers. I'm not going back there to wash my car even though it's super convenient for me. read more

This is the only car wash I go to anymore, though I have been to numerous ones over the year. I always end up with a very clean car, friendly service, and a complete wipe down after leaving the wash tunnel. I recommend it to everybody. I've never seen signs for a "pet wash". read more

I've been going to this car wash for several years, as it's located close to my home and you can't beat the convenience of an automated car wash. In the past, I've had some minor scratches on the sides from sand or grit in the washing pads, but I figured it was par for the course as I've also had the same from other automated car washes. Last time I was at this car wash was July 11, 2015. See photo for why I have not been back since then. Much more than minor scratches this time, extending almost from front to back bumper on the passenger side. Finally got time from my work schedule to get an estimate from a body shop to repair it: a whole day's work, close to $380 (plus rental car costs). The body shop guy who gave me the estimate urged me to at least bring it up with the car wash management, even though I figured there was zero chance of them ever paying for the damage. Talked to the owner's wife, who flat out said she did not believe me and would not even care to inspect my car herself before turning her back on me. So feel free to look at the photo yourself and see if you want your next $9 car wash to turn into a $380 repair job. read more

The staff of young men are obviously hand-picked for their excellent customer service skills. These guys were great! Super friendly and great customer service! They give your car a good scrub before going through, and hand dry afterwards. The dried pollen didn't come off the 1st time through, so they allowed us to go through a second time no charge, with a "no problem!" attitude and a smile. read more
