I am from Texas, living in California now so I miss good seafood for an even better price like back home! Visiting the DMV, I made seafood a priority. I like the food truck ambiance and that you can eat outside! I ordered the snow crab legs and boiled shrimp. I'll start with the good, the prices per pound of snow crab legs are $24.99. That's cheaper than back home in TX. Next, let's discuss the flavor. I LOVE THAT THEY USE SEASONING AND NOT SAUCE! That's what I'm used to, what I grew up eating! Last, the size of the shrimp and snow crab legs were HUGE. -- All in all, the snow crabs were perfect! Seasoned all through. The shrimp were too salty for my liking, but still juicy and delicious. The not so good, when I arrived I was reading the menu for a while. The lady at the window seemed to be annoyed by waiting for me to decided. I noticed they had the little hammers via the reviews, so when she asked me about wanting one I was like yea. I asked her if we could take them (bc I wasn't going to use it but take as a souvenir). Well, she was snippy about it and said "yea if you pay for it." So I let her know I wasn't from there and it was my 1st time at her establishment. -- it was a little off putting to be honest. Ordered a dozen and a half x large crabs for 5 pm. I live literally 3 minutes drive from here. Got there at 4:50, told them my name and that I was here. She said the crabs aren't ready. A lady received her order and she complained that they weren't x large. At first they tried to convince her they were x large but she persisted. Finally they said they got her order mixed up and would steam a new order. At 5:10 i checked in again, still not ready. 5:18 they told me it was ready. I drove home, again, literally 3 minutes and opened the bag the first 2 crabs were lukewarm. Anyone who's ever eaten crabs knows if you're waiting 20 minutes for crabs, they should be piping hot. I took them back and told them I suspected they gave me the other persons order and got my money back. Don't trust this place. read more

Awesome customer service, and fantastic quality crabs. size was exactly as promised (we got extra large) and we promptly got a phone call at exactly the time we had ordered them for letting us know they were ready. We arrived earlier than our pick up time, but the crabs were ready right at the time we had asked for! The crabs we received were hot and heavy! The seasoning was perfect. Absolutely loooved this place. I wasn't expecting it to be a food truck but it was and the service was amazing. I walked up ordered my food they said it would be 20-30min and it was EXACTLY that. I ordered large females and they were reasonably priced, heavy and meaty. The only thing I would say is that either bring cash or be prepared to pay 3% more for using your card. Was browsing Yelp for its suggestions in getting steamed crabs near in Elkridge and found this place. Albeit only 8 reviews thus far, all said such positive things that I wanted to try it. My husband put in a very long day serving other fathers and families this Father's Day weekend so wanted to give him a treat. Maryland blue crabs are his favorite! Unfortunately, by the time I got to the food truck, they were out of all females and extra and jumbo size males. So I went for a couple of large males & their special 3 lbs of steamed shrimp. (Because they said they were out of the extra large - this is important!) There was a line so had to wait awhile, but the service was friendly and there was a nice cool breeze. I was so excited to have my first crabs for this season! While waiting, these 2 guys come along and order a dozen of extra large makes & they get them! When they called my name to get my order, I had to express my dismay... So sad that they would discriminate... for whatever the reason... read more

Love - love - LOVE this place! Our go-to-crab place anytime of the year! We have tried others and they do not compare to the freshness and flavor of these crabs. Great deals - especially when they have buy a dozen get a dozen free. My fiancé and I were getting crabs from them every week during the summer - they are that good. Their seasoning is also delicious and they aren't stingy with it! Honestly haven't had a bad crab from them. Their corn is also very good. The staff is also super friendly! I don't usually get crabs this early in the season, but needed something to break the monotony of the last few weeks (shelter at home). First time trying this spot and was pretty please. Placed the order ahead of time and they were ready when I got there. Had one issue though, I was 6 crabs short on my order, when I called back they were very accommodating. Mistakes happen and I was happy with how they handle it. They aren't for from wear I live so I was able to go pick up the rest. They were fresh out the pot. I arrived at this place before they opened at 11am because I was afraid of them running out seeing that it was Father's Day weekend. There was about 4-5 customers in front of me already waiting in line. Not sure why but it took FOREVER for people to order and move along. I wanted to get some male steamed crabs and they said they only had small, medium and XL (they just opened...why?!?!). So I got dozen XL steamed crabs and 2lbs of crab legs. Cost me about $120. And was told it'll take about 20-25 minutes but took 45+ minutes. I asked if I can get some rolled paper to cover my table, they said it's $1.50/roll. It was pouring rain and I didn't want to take my wallet out so I said forget it. I got home and poured out the seafood I got and was little disappointed with how small the XL crabs looked. My whole family was saying I got ripped off so I decided to measure it and yes they were all pretty small for XL. As for taste, it was OK. Some crabs were undercooked and they overdid it with old bay seasoning. I'll probably check out other steamed crab places first before I decide to go back to this place. read more
