We really enjoyed our dinner here! We ordered the beef chow fun, fish fillets with fresh peas, and sweet and sour pork loin -- everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The restaurant is new and bright, and the service was friendly and helpful. We're already looking forward to coming back to try more dishes. The Peking duck buns are next on my list!

Ate here for the third time and their food is so good! Service is friendly and attentive -and the restaurant is bright and tables are spacious! I git hot and sour soup which was so so but everything else was so good! The beef with hot peppers was very spicy so only for those with dead taste buds! The beef was flavored and cooked perfectly ! We also got the eggplant and pork casserole which I really enjoyed! I thought the Singapore noodles were good but not mind blowing.

Very attentive service, tasty dishes, clean and nice decorated restaurant! I enjoyed all the food but my favorite was the minced pork and eggplant hotpot as well as the Chinese "lettuce" in Abalone Sauce. The lettuce had a distinct flavor, but very tasty and fresh. The only thing I would change is to ask for crab claw crackers. I couldn't get my crab claws cracked open so I saved them for takeout. I did mention this to our server ad she said they'd only been open one week but they will be sure to get some!

summary: located on the corner of a strip mall area in rt. 40 Ye's Seafood House delivers great food with friendly service in a casual environment. Similar to many other Chinese restaurants, Ye's Seafood House boasts a pretty large menu and a lot of the dishes do reach beyond seafood dishes. We gravitated towards the seafood dishes though because of the namesake. The first thing we noticed was how quickly things came out. It felt like things were starting to roll out after only like 5 minutes of ordering. Everything felt very fresh and tasty. My only nit would be that the salt and pepper fish felt a bit overseasoned/salted, but otherwise especially given how fast things were, it was a very positive experience. The ambiance of the restaurant itself feels very casual and the venue is on the small/medium side, so I would imagine they probably get backed up on days where things get super busy. Overall a very positive experience and would love to check out again.

I had no expectations of this restaurant based on the exterior and decor but the food and variety was absolutely delicious. The menu is huge and I will definitely be back to try so many more dishes. The service was really helpful and they had iPads with pictures of the dishes to help diners understand the menu items. I love Indian pancakes with curry and hadn't found this dish outside of Philly and NYC so was happy to find it here! I highly recommend going with a group so you can try lots of things all at once!

This has got to be a huge eye opener for me, Ellicott city is now on my mind! Ye's Seafood House reminds me of some of the best select restaurants only found in NYC, that's right, I said it! Some of the most unique and delicious flavors that will make me want to come back to try some more dishes. Typically Rockville is the goto spot for most traditional Chinese foods in the area, until now. Nestled in a shopping strip with primarily Korean top traditional restaurants that have always been well known to the highly concentrated Korean community in the immediate area, Ye's Seafood House has to shine in order to stand out and, boy does it shine. Among the seafood delicacies, there are plenty of other meaty and Veggie dishes that are made with epic flavors in mind. I have to say, we need more Chinese restaurants like this in the Rockville area too, but for now, this has peaked my interests to other finds in that area that I must try too! I will be making another outta the way trip to that area soon because of Ye's Seafood House, now that Ellicott city it is on my radar!

Best Cantonese restaurant of DMV area. Everything we ordered today is so delicious. Especially the materials are with tastes of freshness. We a group of six people ordered and almost fished every dishes. Even green onions as toppings are good and crispy. Highly recommended! Authentic Cantonese flavor for the most part. The lamb chop is good and egg plant is decent. The service was decent and place is really clean. The price however is a bit pricey. I'd comeback again.

Food: Delicious! Main dish could easily feed 3 adults. Taro and spare ribs- Recommended! These are the small kind of ribs. Deep fried. The taro part is cubes that are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Bright tasting sauce that does not overwhelm. Rice comes with the dish is high quality with a nice earthy flavor. Duck buns- Recommended! Delicious duck, served with cucumber and lettuce. Jasmine tea: smells and tastes wonderful! Beautiful, comfortable dining room, excellent service, good value, wide variety of choices, easy parking. Low volume soothing music; I hope they never change it.

Been here a couple of times and this place is always very good food served quickly. Salt and pepper pork had good flavor and wasn't overly greasy like some places can be. I've had the salt and pepper shrimp before and that is also very good. Thai basil chicken was quality and the steamed oysters were a real pleasant surprise. I'm not much of a noodle person, so I didn't try the Singapore noodles. The crab and cheese wontons were fine. The shell and fry was just right, the filling was fine--just a tad sweeter than my preference. This spot is a go to place for us when we're in the area.

10/10 dining experience. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful. From the flowers on the tablecloth, to the threaded wooden textiles on the back of the booth seats, to the painted ceramics that the food was served on, this was an aesthetic masterpiece. The waitresses and hostesses were kind, warm, and friendly. We ordered the Crab Cream Cheese Fried Wontons, which were delicious, airy, and crispy. The Sautéed Squid and Mixed Vegetables were rich, the vegetables were fresh. Everything was really fresh overall. The squid was cooked perfectly, not rubbery or chewy. The Beef Chow Fun was yummy and well layered. They weren't stingy with the beef at all. And the Hot and Spicy Shredded Pork was delicious, and decorated with peppers that brought the perfect kick. I loved Ye's Seafood and will be returning. Can't wait to try their other dishes.

Overall good food and service with some favorites from my childhood. Portion size could be larger but they just opened so perhaps an adjustment period.

Ordered everything we wanted and every dish was flavorful and delicious. Only thing is some dishes need to be tweaked a little. Har-chaw dumpling skin is a little too thick for me. Shrimp ball is too mushy and sticky rice was a little dry. But everything had the right amount of seasoning. No soy sauce or chili oil needed. The cherry on top? The silk tofu dessert. One of the best ones I've had so far! Would definitely come back.

We went on a Sunday for lunch and was expected to be greeted with chaos (at least that was our experience at other dim sum places). They did have a lot of customers, but the "chaos" seemed to be a lot more organized. The dim sum carts seemed to be making more frequent rounds than what we were used to and the servers were locked in. We had a pretty large party and it felt like there was a never ending flow of food (and variety) the entire time. You do get the "typical" dim sum experience/ambiance of carts rolling around everywhere and servers asking you if you'd like to get anything, so it's a great experience to bring someone who hasn't had dim sum yet. Would totally recommend for parties of all sizes and we'll be back. They do advertise sushi, but can't speak too much on that because we stuck solely with dim sum that day.

I mustered up my energy and ignored the leg pain and told her I felt good enough to drive and will pick up our lunch for her. Now mind you, I have not driven in 3 months. After assuring her I was fine, I drive to the Hunan Legends and parked as close as I can. Heard some good things about this place. I ordered much too much for 2 people but we can eat for days as the portions were good size. It appears that today was a day of take out as I saw no one but did see a lot of pickup order. As soon as I walked in with the cans, the owner noticed right away and without hesitation, she told her husband (I assume because he obeyed right away) that I will need help. Now I really appreciated that thoughtfulness because I did not realize I ordered 2 large bags full of food. To step in to help without being asked is thoughtfulness personified. Now the food, we mostly enjoyed all of it. There were things that should have been eaten at the restaurant like the pu pu platter. I remember as a child we frequented a place in Towson that had a little burner that cane with the pu pu platter that was so delicious. This was not the same since it had gotten cold so not fair to judge the same. I also didn't order any of my favorites because I have sacrificial love like that so enjoyed her meal thoroughly. Overall, my wife enjoyed the fresh ingredients and overall taste. I also enjoyed the food but the hospitality and kindness stood out for me. Thank you Hunan Legend.

There is plenty of parking available in the area outside the store. The ambiance was cool, with folks coming in and out and there is also seating to enjoy your food onsite. If you've been ordering Chinese food as long as I have, you know the best time to purchase is during their "lunchtime" special for a great price on a smaller portion of your favorite item. It's usually accompanied by a basic fried rice, white rice, or noodles. I ordered the shrimp egg foo yung lunch special with fried rice; pork yak; and shrimp egg rolls. I like China Chef because they have an open kitchen just behind the counter and can see them preparing orders. We placed our order with a pleasant lady at the counter, paid in advance, and did some shopping at the local grocery store and came back to pick it up. We came back to pick up our order and it was waiting for us. We opened the bag to check that it was correct, grabbed assorted condiments (soy ,duck, and hot sauce packets) and cutlery and were on our way. The pork yat was good, not overly oily and drenched in soy sauce. There were fried yellow onions and a boiled egg included. The shrimp egg foo yung lunch special consisted of two patties made with egg, shrimp, and onions with fried rice and a small container of gravy. It was just ok, lacking a fair amount of shrimp. The gravy was light-skinned, lol, but ok as well. The egg rolls were a nice, hefty size deep fried and not greasy at all. It was a decent egg roll with shrimp scattered about, but not as good as I wanted it to be. All in all, a nice place to grab some traditional Chinese takeout.
