I had such a great experience at the Blue Antique Store! I've been on the hunt for a conch shell for over a month (inspired by something I saw on Pinterest) to hold my makeup brushes, but everything I found was either too small or way overpriced. Imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw the perfect one right away! Not only was it exactly what I had been looking for, but it was huge--and only $28. I couldn't believe it, especially since I've seen similar ones listed for around $75 on Facebook Marketplace. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took the time to chat with me and made the whole experience feel personal, and they carefully wrapped my purchase so it made it home safely. Blue Door Antiques is an awesome little shop on North L in Livermore just above Chestnut. I love that its nestled within the Northside Downtown neighborhood making it a great place for neighbors to come and browse on a weekend morning. They have a great selection of antiques ranging from toys to decor. My favorite aspect of Blue Door is its vinyl record room. They have one whole room devoted just to vinyl records in the back (which is so awesome) and includes everything from Rock and Roll to Country to Jazz. The folks who work here are very kind and helpful. Do yourself a favor and swing by. read more

Incredibly nice staff! I walked into this place looking for a TV stand, thinking the store was similar to Paris Flea Market. It's definitely not Paris Flea Market, but it's a great antique store! The woman helping me searched every nook to help me find something that might work as a TV stand, and although we came up empty handed, I did walk out of there with an antique duck decoy and some hummel annual bells! read more

I wouldn't say the people who work here are friendly, but they aren't "unfriendly". The place is definitely cram packed with items which make it difficult to walk around and take a good look at things. You could probably spend an entire day in here and not see everything they have to offer, which is really odd considering the place is pretty small. I did visit here recently in search of fruit crate labels. I asked the guy who worked there if they carried any and he said, "Yes, I'm not sure where though." He directed me to a corner of the shop and said, "You might want to try looking in there." He pointed to a few cabinet drawers. After searching for half an hour through drawers full of unorganized old photos, newspapers, and advertisements, I finally gave up and called it a day. I really like the items they carry here. Old linens, kitchen items, postcards, books, etc. I only wish their items were displayed better in a way that's not only easy to see, but easy to get to without knocking something over. read more

First time customer and tried to follow their parking sign. As soon as we parked in the lot outdoor vendors started yelling that we couldn't park there. Apparently, they used the regular parking for their tables of garage sale level items. We were interested in the records they were promoting inside. The selection was picked over so mainly consisted of grandmas favorites. read more

One of my favorite childhood past times was going to different antique stores with my mother. I have been to some in Pleasanton, Livermore, Oakdale, Sunol, even Niles with it's small, yet rich history from the old MGM studios and their silent film museum. I walked into Blue Door Antiques just the other day and my jaw literally dropped! This is quite possibly the best antique store I have ever been to and that's saying a lot! The dealers that run this place really know what they have and know how to price everything. They have thousands of truly beautiful and unique pieces anywhere from the 1970's, dating all the way back to mid-1800's! They have books, they have sewing and crafting supplies, they have furniture, clocks, jewelry, kitchen supplies, vintage gowns and ice skates, photography goods, and just about every type of vintage knick-knack and thingamabob you can imagine! I went here looking for a specific Christmas gift and ended up getting lost in history for hours until my knees ached for me to sit down! The employees and the dealers here have been so wonderfully warm and friendly with me and love striking up a friendly conversation with their customers, more than I have seen in any other business, ever! If you need to kill some time in Livermore, do it here! It will be a highly fulfilling experience for yourself. read more

This antique store is amazing! I find so many wonderful things everytime I visit Blue Door Antiques. The people that work there are very knowledgable and friendly which is very seldom to find at an antique store. Usually I have bad service from old people who are rude to me since I don't look like a collector even though I am! Anyways, there are so many collections of paintings, postcards and collectibles. Had my first visit to Blue Door Antiques today. They have really unique antiques that you may not be able to find elsewhere (my husband found and bought an antique gavel!). Plan on spending some time here to really look at all of the fun items. There's even a record room! We found that everything was reasonably priced (maybe even better prices than a few antique stores we've been to elsewhere). The kind person working behind the counter (Pam) had years of knowledge about antiques and was happy to answer my questions. A must stop for really fun shopping in Livermore! read more

Prices are very reasonable here. The workers are very nice and sincere people. Best part was that they had free desserts- red velvet cupcakes, carrot cake, lemon cake, etc. They were delicious! We will definitely come back here again soon! read more

This is one of those amazing antique stores in the area! This is a CO-OP so that is why some staff is not as friendly on certain days, because it just depends on who is working that day. Most people are very friendly though. You can find all different kinds of items, and most spaces are decorated so you can tell what kind of stuff they sell. They have everything from Bakelite, old photographs, records, to a large 1800's bible. I love this store, and the fact that it has so much variety, but still being easy to find items makes me always come back! If you are in Livermore, drop by! (One negative- the floor is really creaky, and In 2 spaces I feel like a antique-alanche will occur but I am determined, so I persevere. ) read more

Lots of cool treasures and the lady was nice. Some of the prices seemed a bit high (we did negotiate a price) but worth checking out.

GREAT antique shop. One of the last of it's kind, meaning it is PACKED and AFFORDABLE. Nice people working there.

Just "ok". Lots of cluttered stuff that doesn't sell. Fun to check out once in a while, but not on our list for regular antiquing.
