I was walking downtown Livermore doing some Christmas shopping and noticed a vintage shop and immediately thought I could find something for my daughter who loves everything vintage. I want to give a shout out to the shop co-owner Ali for her hospitality. I saw these cute stickers with your birthday sign and thought of my daughter who knows everything about the meaning of your birthday sign. I couldn't remember my daughter's birthday sign and Ali was so kind to look it up for me. Ali also showed me a very cute luggage trinket she had not yet placed out. I bought both as stocking stuffers for my daughter. The shop is adorable and has a great selection of vintage clothing and vintage records. I could feel great energy inside the store by the smell of incense. Thank you again Ali! read more

Fantastic shop! It is so well organized and beautiful! I was running late to an appointment and had to pop in. That's how appealing this place is! There are truly gems here. The clothing is such high quality. Often times one has to shift through mountains of suspect clothing before finding something even vaguely acceptable. That is NOT the case here. Highly curated selection, which I truly appreciate. Not 30 minutes ago, I complimented somones shirt, only to learn it was from here! I had a really disappointing experience at this vintage store. While I was simply looking at a shirt, one of the employees (a lady working the floor) suddenly yelled at me for "holding the shirt wrong." It was completely unnecessary and honestly embarrassing -- everyone in the store turned and looked because of how loudly she reacted. My friends were with me and also felt uncomfortable and reassured me that it wasn't just me. I left feeling really uncomfortable and thrown off. To make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong, I went to another vintage shop in the same area and showed the owner how I was holding the shirt. He told me there was absolutely no issue with it. So clearly the problem wasn't me -- it was her attitude. There's no reason for customers to be treated like that. The whole interaction ruined the vibe of the store, and it definitely made me not want to come back. I hope management addresses this, because no one deserves to be yelled at for simply browsing. read more

So sad I should've never brought my wife there the next day . They size you up when you walk in. They gave me a price and literally changed it and said no I didn't give you that price. They play with your emotions to make you feel good like it's a good shop.That's why there's no prices on some items. Why would you do that. Secretly conniving!! BEWARE!! Exactly with all the help. Then I show up with the actual cash the next day then the price goes up because the other owner is there and then you give me this look like you didn't give me that price. That's when I knew what you're about. You say it was perfect but it wasn't it also had the tag torn tag. And we're only talking about $10. Could not be happier to have Best Budz in town. I used to live in Oakland for 10 years and shopping second hand and vintage became ingrained in me and defined my personal style. When I moved back to Livermore I was missing that curated collection of vintage, there are several thrift stores around but for people like me you can't really see the vision without someone like Aly and Addison who have crafted their eye for style and trends. Every time I visit the shop I leave with a new favorite item and they are things I actually wear on the regular.
