What an amazing place filled with such KIND workers!! The ambiance is so relaxing and very dog friendly! The sangria and blackberry cider are SO DELICIOUS!! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good time!

A quick stop for a wine refill before dinner. Great deals and a warm, cozy atmosphere! They have 3 Linda of wine for wine tasting, 5 pours for $20. We also tried the sangria and blueberry cider. Parking is street parking and availability is depends on the day of the week. A privately owned. Owner and his wife were the one running the place and helping customers.

Absolutely the BEST sangria EVER! The owners Cameron and Mark and Oliver the mascot were the BEST!!! Super nice people! We hung out here quite a bit ! We spent a lot of our down time chillin' here. A nice and relaxing place with a chill vibe. Down to earth, mixed with greatness! Cameron even let our pups enjoy some organic chicken breast along with their adorable mascot Oliver! Katie is a doll! All super cool and sweet!! Highly recommend!!!

I love coming here for sangria whenever I visit Julian. This winery tasting room is very cozy. My girlfriends and I sat at a table by the fireplace. The owners are very friendly and they have an adorable dog there.

Really cute spot in Julian! Wine tasting room with a little fireplace in the corner, which is perfect for chilly days/nights!

Can't recommend Blue Door Winery enough. The owner was super sweet and welcoming. Her dog, Oliver was a total sweetheart as well as he sat right on top of our laps. The sangria & cider was easily the best I've had. The sangria is so juicy and the cider is so fresh and crisp. Both are a treat. The prices are really fair and the service is an A+. You will feel like at home and have something amazing to drink. Can't recommend the sangria, cider, or a wine tasting enough.

Little boutique winery nestled in the heart of Julian. The service was excellent, the gal working provided great recommendations on the wine they serve there. Super chill vibe, we went on a random Thursday so it was not too busy. They have a little patio where you can sit and enjoy your wine, you can also bring your own food and snack to enjoy. Since this is considered a boutique winery, their prices are a bit on the high end ($18-$20) for 1 glass of wine. We opted for the house made sangria It was so good, super refreshing on a hot summer day.

The previous reviews didn't steer me wrong! The sangria was delicious! It was super quiet and chill tucked back here behind Main Street. It was a pleasant afternoon with my cold drink and sunshine. The woman working was smiley and chatty.

This place is adorable and the wine is amazing! They make all their wines. We did the wine tasting flight but they are also famous for their sangria. The owners are lovely people with a great little sidekick, Ollie (terrier). 100% recommend.

The atmosphere is really nice--very chill and relaxing, with friendly and welcoming staff. It's the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy the scenery, and hang out for a while. One of the coolest things is the location right next to the Volcan apple farm. There are apple trees everywhere, which really gives you that Julian fall experience. We were even able to pick a few apples, which ended up being one of the highlights of the day. Now... let's talk about the wine. Maybe Temecula Valley has spoiled me, but these wines just weren't doing it for me. We tried several, and unfortunately, they tasted pretty cheap compared to what I'm used to drinking in Temecula. Nothing really stood out enough to make me want to take a bottle home. Basically, I liked the winery more than I liked the wine. Would I come back for the chill atmosphere, friendly staff, apple-country scenery and overall vibe? Absolutely. Would I make the drive specifically for the wine? Probably not. Vibe: 9/10 Staff: 10/10 Location: 10/10 Wine: 4/10 Overall, it's a cool stop when you're in Julian--especially during apple season. Come for the vibe and the scenery... just don't expect Temecula Valley-level wine.

We made sure she had them and then she said , " ONES MISSING!!! GIVE IT BACK NOW OR ILL CALL THE COPS BECAUSE YOUR NOW TRESPASSING!!"
