Storum was a fantastic stop for some cider! We didn't try their wine but I really enjoyed their cider. Specifically the King David was my favorite but I also liked the Goldrush. They offer two different pre set flights for $10 or you can customize flights for $12. Glasses are $10 or you can do tasters for $3, this is all for ciders. The inside seating has a few nice tables and the outside looks to have a good amount as well. The location is great as you can hop around to a few wineries and it's very peaceful. Jenna was super helpful and informative on the options there. Would absolutely come back again!

Found this little gem of a place just outside downtown Julian because we didn't want to stuck in the ridiculous -ness of parking and just being stuck in the mass of people. Anyway, back to the point of this review. Storum Ranch. This place is off the beaten path, but in a quiet farm / wine land. The scenery is beautiful, serene, and SLOWED DOWN. Total contrast from Main street. If that's what you're looking for then this is the place. What's special about Storum is that, other than wine, they also serve adult sodas. What are adult sodas, well, they are soda water with dark and light balsamic vinegars. You heard right. Balsamic vinegar of the sweet kind mixed with soda water, basically make a fancy version of a soda. ( It was perfect for my 8 month preggo wife). It was plus she enjoyed them. The lady t the front: I'm sure she was more than just "staff", more like a manager I would suspect, but she was super helpful and knowledgeable about the pairings of wine and balsamic vinegars and made great suggestions. Last, but not least, can't forget about the specialty infused olive oils on tap to taste. I think the next time we come, well just have to bring our on veggies, cheeses and have a grand ol' time sitting outside with lunch! I really don't want to tell you to come here because it's such a great place, but I feel like it's such a great place not to share with the community!

This is a new cidery and wine company in Julian. Not too far off the main road, its a nice drive thru the hills to get to it. Facilities are new and they have a small tasting room. Beside the ciders they have vinegars and showed us how with seltzer water you can make tasty drinks with them. We went home with a bottle. Thier ciders are more on the dryer side if you looking for that type. As I always say try it and see if you like it. Got to support local business!!!

What a cool place! It's a bit off the beaten path but that makes it all the more special. The team running it are very friendly and excited to share their craft with visitors. They have a massive selection of balsamic vinegars and olive oils and a small section of local honey and jarred green olives. The olives are a kind I'd never heard of, "Gordal" which are gigantic and stuffed with garlic and chili...yum! The ciders and meads we tried were high quality and so far, my favorite in Julian! Planning to go back to try their wine selection some time. It's a fun stop after a local hike! It's also dog friendly for friendly dogs, which always scores points with me!

Great "local gem" of a wine and cider place here. Yes, it is a bit outside of town, but it is a pleasent drive and a nice change from the places heavier on tourist style. Storum Ranch has a great selection of ciders and wines, most on the dryer side with slightly higher abv than you might be used you. I particularly enjoyed the apple chardonnay as a great twist on something everyone is used to. They also have a great selection of infused olive oils and vinegars, all with available tasters. Only thing I wish they had (and maybe I missed it) was some sort of pre-made or per-pacakged food to soak some of that cider and wine. Great kind of all around appeal here for me. Head on in and give them a try.

Amazing little hidden gem! Not only was it clean and quaint but a cool 61' degrees. It was nice to get out of the 90 degree weather in Julian. The owner is very knowledgeable and kind. I was able to bring home various wine, vinegar, olive oils and ciders. I've never been a fan of ciders but these are unlike any I've had in the past.I can't wait until my next trip back.

Hidden gem of Julian! What's better than wine tasting or cider tasting? Having wine, cider, balsamic & olive oil tasting all in one place! The balsamic tasting in seltzer was new for me and we enjoyed that more than anything. So many amazing flavors for both balsamic & olive oil, even kids enjoy. We left with several bottles of everything. The guy working there was super kind as well. Great spot to sit, sip & beat the heat.

This Family owned Cidery and winery is so amazing! Best dry smooth ciders I've ever had, They have a high ABV but are so clean and give you the best buzz! No added sugars just natural sugars from the apples. This is a must check out and best place to have ciders in Julian area. Beautiful venue in the hills also with great views.

Tasting room

Awesome place with great cider, wine, shrubs and olive oil. The service was great - Bill, Pauline and Eric were the best. The environment - with the orchard being overlooked by Volcan mountain was really special.

It has this warm, rustic, family‑owned charm -- the kind of place that feels like you're hanging out in someone's backyard rather than at a commercial winery. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel like longtime friends. The wine selection is on the smaller side, but that actually fits the vibe -- simple, honest, very them, and totally down‑to‑earth. I love that you can grab a glass and sit wherever you like. The back patio is beautiful: breezy, shaded, and surrounded by nature. Prices were great too. It was a warm day, and the owner recommended the rosé -- great choice. Light, refreshing, and perfect for the weather. Nothing overly fancy or grand here, and honestly that's what makes it special. A sweet, relaxed Julian spot with heart, history, and genuinely kind people.

They pretty much had 50% less apples than they did last year so they were trying very hard to get all these apples into our bags and home safely for our own apple cobbler and apple pie. We were able to fill up three bag bags of apples, small apples, but still very flavorful , Pippin and Jonathan's and some empires .. They do allow service dogs . Super fun activity however we were there on October 4 th Honestly, I think the season would probably be about done by now .. there's plenty to do and Julian. They have dirt parking. That being said, we were able to get a full bag although a lot of apples were small or ones that looked nice only turned out to have wormholes in them. Lots of tossed apples on the ground too. Parking is all in one area now which is better than previous years where there were multiple. Some food and drinks vendors right outside the entrance. They don't sell apple cider or apple cider donuts here sadly.

I didn't enjoy anything I tasted until I tried their passion fruit sangria. It was quite tasty and refreshing. If you bought the bottle of passion fruit wine, the recipe came with.
