Very nice view of grand lake. They are priced very reasonable during the week. A little higher for Friday and Saturday. There is no eating facility on the grounds but there is a little bar and grill for burgers next door and you are only minutes from most restaurants as well as the attractions. The place has been totally renovated and they did a great job. We arrived and texted the owner. He met us with the keys, explained a few things and tht was it. When we checked out we just left the keys on the table, locked the door and texted the owner. Check this place out if you are looking for a place to stay in Grove, OK. BIG THING!! They are dog friendly which was a must for us.

I checked in Friday and got in early so I could get into my garbage for the Annual event we do there. I was surprised. Rooms impeccably clean. VERY nice Inn Keeper. Property is close enough to see the lake very close by. Our room was not cramped. Nice King Size Bed. And of course everything else you would expect. Nice 24hr coffee bar. In the morning 2 fresh brew pots of coffee await you around 5:30 am. Snacks, pastry, baked goods, fruit. Snack Bars to go. Very nice Pool. Closed at this visit. Pretty cool in the morning there at 60°F. Trly enjoyed a couple of nights there and plenty of good restaurants like Pistol Pats i mentioned in an I there review. Amazing place and the price is crazy affordable. I will be back to stay there next year. Love it.

It is the nicest motel I have stayed at in a long time. It is very, very clean, has electronic locks on each door, not like the HAMPTON inn type... these are keypads that you would find at a VRBO or somewhere. Every room has a microwave and a refrigerator. I prefer showers but for people who take baths the bathtub is much bigger than the standard size. I have a King room on the first floor. It has a large tv, the comforter on the bed is similar to that at a Hampton Inn... the mattress is very comfortable. I could honestly stay a week here. The carpet looks brand new and a pad must be really good because it feels like you're walking on a cushion.

Before we made reservations, we call asked about how the vacuum truck works. Was told just call and…read morethey will be there. The truck is available Monday through Friday, 9-12 am. We made reservations for 2 weeks, starting on a Monday. We decided to arrive on Sunday, they said that would be fine. Arrived at park Sunday afternoon, spot we chose has about 5' rise in 40ft, impossible to get any camper level. About 75% of the park is impossible to get any camper level. Called resort, they moved us with no problems. Because we were the only ones in the whole park. Oh by they way, being we arrived a day earlier than our reservation, they charged us $53.00 for the daily rate, instead of the $40.00 rate for the 2 week stay, because the have to treat it as a new reservation. As soon as we pulled on sight was told the we should be able to last a week or so before needing vacuum truck. So much for full hook ups. We asked on Sunday if we could be pumped on Friday, no problem. Was told on Wednesday that they would be there on Friday morning. At 12:40 pm we called to ask about being pumped, was told he will be there in a bit just waiting on the weather. At 4pm was sent a text asking for us to wait til Saturday. We never responded. We hooked up and was headed to dump station when we got a call asking if it was alright to get to us tomorrow. They knew that we were upset with them, we set there all day waiting on them, with no communication telling us that they never had any intention of getting to us. No one at the park said another word to us for the rest of our stay. We left 5 days early to go to a park down the road that had full hook ups and was treated respectfully. We can see why we were the only ones in the park. We were being treated like we were in the wrong. Never felt so uncomfortable camping.

Two king beds in the loft were comfortable and the loft didn't get too hot during the 100 degree temps. We wished the downstairs bedroom also had a king, but the queen was comfortable. We loved that the bathroom had a door between the shower and toilet/sink area. With 5 people, the bathroom was in high demand at times and being able to shower while someone else used the sink was helpful. We brought our boat and used the slip provided with the cabin. It's not covered and you can't get to it by foot. It was a great dock though, we hung out there one evening before heading back up to the cabin. We purchased our stay from a silent auction package at a fundraiser. I did notice the prices online, seemed a bit steep but the cabin was worth it and we'd definitely stay there again.

It has a covered gazebo with a sectional sofa, dinning table and two more chairs to lounge on. They also have a large gas grill in excellent condition. It was so nice because we did not have to take anything out, which made departure day a lot smoother. At your request they will bring you margaritas after 5:00 PM. The resort sits in a lake which makes it convenient for those who have boats. We were going to stay two nights, but ended up staying three nights. They do have two restaurants and bar you can enjoy if you don't feel like cooking. Hours vary, but the packet you receive has all the information you need. It is gated which makes it feel safe. Will definitely be back.

I appreciate the restaurant being open on Mondays. Our server was so nice and helpful. She shared what her favorite dishes were and brought out fresh bread after it was finished. And that bread was next level. We got like a half loaf of Parmesan garlic sourdough! Fresh baked! I absolutely loved my shrimp & grits too. So flavorful. Great portions. It's a bit pricier, especially for Grove, but quality makes it worth it. I will definitely be back to try more entrees. Delicious. And the RV park is beautiful too.

Many of the full timers have chosen to have Grand Lake RC Resort build them a permanent Tiny Home for their residence. A tiny home meets the Oklahoma State requirement for an RV at 399 square feet. Therefore you pay no property taxes. Obviously if it's not on the road, you also have no need to tag or pay excise tax on the unit. Check with Diana the owner or her son Jedidiah to be certain. Grand Lake RV Resort had two Boat Docks, soon to be 200 slips available. The launch ramp is fresh concrete with parking for up to 50 trailers. GLRVR also has outside or covered storage for boats or trailers. A wash house is on the premises, so you can keep your clothes and bedding clean with several washers and dryers, as well as Men & Women's facilities. Great to use on frigid days we are having on this date with temps in the low 20's. Two pools and a large hot tub are a part of the brilliant planning at GLRVR. The kids pool to take care of their swimming wants and desires. Then they built a GORGEOUS adults only pool with an open bar, huge hot tub, walk in access and water features. As if that's not enough, the park is the only one on Grand Lake with a security gate access. Not even the high dollar Shangrala has security like this. You feel completely safe and at home. Bathrooms and shower area was very clean and the laundry facility looked great. I'm not sure about how "lakeside" it is but we were impressed with the facilities and the people. Everyone was very friendly.
