There was a long, long line when I went, but with three self-payment terminals the line consistently moved. The terminals were super easy to use and take credit card. There was a staff person to direct you into the wash which I think is important and is one reason I never use unattended gas station car washes - I don't trust myself to not mess up my tire when lining up with the track that pulls your car through. So that was a plus and the staff person sprayed down the rear of the car with a power washer hose. There are a lot of add ons on the car wash offers when you buy a single wash. For example, I chose the 2nd level wash ($13) because compared to the lowest level wash ($10) the 2nd level included bottom cleaning. However as I was checking out I was prompted to pay an additional $2 for a higher pressure bottom cleaning. Usually, I'm all for upsells, but in this case I think it undermines the wash. I would much rather just pay $15 than $13 plus $2. When would I ever want half as good a job done on my car? I love the idea of a membership, and the prices of those here are fair in my opinion. The only thing that kept me from giving a 4 and from signing up for a membership was that the blow dryers as usual did not do a 100% perfect job. If there was just a staff person to dry that would be perfect and I'd sign up for a membership for sure. In the summer, not a huge issue to pull off to the side and do it yourself, but in the winter...

One thing they don't have is a pre wash where a guy comes around with a wand and does a little spraying in the areas where their car wash is typically Miss. I think one of my favorite features of this car wash is that at the very end it has these large rotating towel things that they're really good job of buffing your car out. And as a bonus you get free vacuum usage at the end of your car wash so there's that. They wanted 3 estimates I gave them more. I took time from work to get them their estimates. Estimators all said it scratched the back trunk of the car, it requires paint work and estimates were all near $1k. Clean Express insisted they were only going to pay for the wiper blade ($150), which was on all of the estimates. They dragged their feet on this incident out to almost a month. I needed a rear wiper due to weather conditions and replaced it myself. They said they WEREN'T going to compensate because I voided the incident by putting a wiper on myself (unreal), after 3 weeks. I had my family vehicles on their membership program. The car wash is good, vacuums are good if you can get to them. They offer free vacuums to everyone and more dirty cars vacuuming their cars than clean ones. It's hard to get a spot at times. I'm shocked at the professionalism. The staff/management is a major disappointment. They admitted (recordings) the machine caused damage to my Volvo! Do the right thing and compensate your customers, when you know you're in the wrong.
