Ongoing Overcharging With No Resolution I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Take 5 Car Wash, primarily due to persistent overcharging and a complete lack of effective customer service. I have been overcharged on my account since April 2025. Despite repeatedly raising this issue--most notably since January 29, 2026--there has been no resolution. The charges continue, and no meaningful corrective action has been taken. Customer service (330-426-0473) is handled through a call center that can only "raise tickets." Unfortunately, these tickets lead to absolutely zero follow-up or accountability. There is no way to speak with corporate, no escalation path, and no one who appears empowered to actually resolve billing issues. Each interaction ends the same way: promises of review, with no action taken. For a company that relies on recurring billing, this lack of transparency, ownership, and customer support is unacceptable. Customers should not have to continuously chase incorrect charges with no end in sight. I would strongly caution anyone considering a membership or recurring plan with Take 5. Until billing issues are taken seriously and customers are given access to real support, this is not a company I can recommend. read more

The car wash has NOT been functioning properly since PRIOR to 4/2/24 when I first contacted their customer service line. The roller brushes for the hood, windshield, top, and back of car has not functioned since at least prior to 4/2/24. I contacted them on 4/2/24 (855-928-5585) and spoke with Flordeli. She said it would be escalated and I would be contacted by the location manager. NOTHING HAPPENED. I contacted them again 2X on 5/6/24 spoke to Lems and then Say. Each promised resolution including a 2 month refund. NOTHING HAPPENED. I called again on 5/13/24 and spoke to Iris. NOTHING HAPPENED. I have 4 cars on a monthly plan. They are happy to take our money but yet services are not rendered. I have gone through the wash 2x in a row and I still can't get the bugs off my windshield. Worse part is that the replacement motor is sitting on the floor in their office and the local staff says "sorry" but they are waiting on maintenance to fix now for over two months. How is it right that they take EVERYONE's money but can't clean a car? read more

Visited in June for a single car wash. The attendant asked if I wanted to upgrade my wash for free, so I said yes. He entered in a number that I thought was his employee ID but now realize was a phone number and sent me on my way (without a receipt). Fast forward to today and I wake up to see a charge on my card that I used for a monthly membership. So this employee put in HIS phone number and used MY CARD to pay for a monthly membership. I couldn't even go online to cancel it because I don't have an account or account number. I had to call customer service and play the waiting game to see if/when I will be getting my money back. Will never be returning to this location as they apparently hire shady and untrustworthy people. read more

Yikes. I go through it often enough to get the full value of the unlimited wash. Lately, more and more parts/brushes don't work at all! And then the dryer at the end, leaves a ton of water about the car. Not sure what is going on here. read more

They are literally closed every other day. I had a monthly membership and every time I'd drive by to get a car wash, they'd be closed for maintenance. No one answers the phone or cares that you aren't getting the services that you pay for. read more

the car wash is satisfactorily when it's open but the fact that happily charge my account monthly and send texts to come yet when i go they are never open. either post on your website when you are closed or text your regular customers if you are closed. this small action will encourage more customers. i was there twice along with 10 other cars all having to leave due to a closed sign read more

I was very excited for this place to open! I am a monthly subscriber. When I first joined all the vacuums worked great, there were air fresheners and cleaning supplies to use after your wash. Now- there are never any air fresheners, and two months in a row the same 2 vacuums had the same issues. 1- The hose wouldn't stay in the head, and 2- The other one had 75% reduced capacity. The value has gone down since it opened. I don't believe they are maintaining much of the smaller amenities. It still is a great car wash, but attention to detail is important. Take 5 Car Wash Formally Zoom Express Car Wash 8581 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087 330-426-0473 2/1/25 I have been using Zoom Express Car Wash since it opened in Twinsburg, but they were taken over by Take 5. On sunny dry Saturday at noon I went but the location has been closed more than open, and I went to inquire about why and ask for credit for the two memberships that I am paying you for as well as ask for the manager's contact information. Dennis said he was in charge and that I had to leave slamming the door in my face. I then was allowed into the office and asked for the manager's contact information which they told me they would not give to me. I said I wanted a credit as the service has been unavailable for almost two weeks when I try to wash our cars. Several other employees chined in and were rude, especially the little girl named Hailey who said on at least four occasions that I should go wash my cars elsewhere. I was told to leave my name and phone number, and they would pass it on, but I am quite sure that it was thrown out before I returned to my car. I would rather have a conversation with a regional manager / customer service person to help me. I have been a resident of this community for 40 years and a 63-year-old USMC veteran that is disgusted but the way I was treated by their employees. I wanted contact information to have an adult conversation with someone who has oversight of this facility. I went about my day and at 5pm seeing using the facility I went to drive through. They were closing early as the sign /web site both say Saturday to 6PM. Unfortunately, the little angry girl Hailey was the operator and asked why I was there (to wash my dirty car at the business I have multiple memberships too). Once in the middle of the drive through she turned off the wash to brushes, wax, rinse and DRYER. I did not go to the office but used the used towels available to get the soap of my car. It took three days to confirm my cancellation as the customer service is a maze of non-answered or elevated to nothing. Still waiting for a credit. BEWARE! read more

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! I had a terrible experience with this Take 5 Location. The employees told me I could go through and they would turn off their top rollers so I didn't need to remove my roof rack. They turned off the first top roller, but failed to turn off the second. They completely destroyed the roof rack on my car. They had me fill out an insurance form, took full accountability, and said they would send in the claim for fixing. I then received an email from their District Manager, Austin Klingensmith, stating that my claim is denied and they're not liable for the damage because it is an after market product..the roof rack is stock, as well as the cross bars. They were aware we had the J hooks and said it would be fine. They are claiming our roof rack and crossbars are not stock and now no one will speak with me. When I tried to get in touch with Austin he couldn't be bothered to email me back. I emailed twice and was completely ignored. It's been incredibly frustrating dealing with this lack of professionalism and customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! read more

When I called to complain the owner & management hid behind their two young employees & would not return my calls. They made the young girls call & tell me what they determined. They have a sign posted but it's mentioned at the bottom with more info to read above it along with about 3 or 4 other signs you must read all while trying to pull in behind other vehicles, fold your mirrors in & get your payment ready. Everything was great except cancelling your plan. This has happened to me THREE times in a span of 1 year. When I go out of town, I cancel my plan and I even ask for a receipt but they keep charging me. The process of getting a refund took MONTHS. I was not using the wash enough and I noticed my truck had what appeared to be damage to the painted surface so to prevent any further damage, I no longer wanted to wash there. I have frequently used Zoom Express Car Wash and have been happy with the results. It is going to new ownership and have bumped up prices and no longer have "half price Tuesday". Today I went through the wash and my car left dirty due to the dryer cloths being dirty. I returned after my errand I spoke to the attendants/manager. They were very understanding and said they have fixed the issue and allowed me to re-wash for free. Overall, good experience with the management. read more

The car wash was closed on Saturday July 30th 2022 around 4pm. I had a date night to get ready for and I couldn't get my car cleaned. This is unacceptable. I will look for some kind of compensation for my troubles. read more
