I am a really late Yelp reviewer; I visited Blue Haven almost a year ago and have always had pleasant experiences. I've had Madisen do a chemical peel to help improve my freckling as well as several laser hair removal treatments. The green tea moisturizer Blanca recommended helped greatly with my eczema. The clinic is very careful and kind. Dr.Killey turned me away for one of my laser treatments as my face had severe eczema breakout due to concern of potential worsening or scaring. I am glad they preferred rescheduling me versus proceeding for the benefit of gaining an extra session. They explained the differences between clinics that do a package for laser hair treatment versus individual sessions. I started looking around for a clinic to help improve the appearance of acne scars and stumbled upon them again on Yelp, looking forward to scheduling appointments again soon. I've been so happy. I recently got a facial with Melissa. I have sensitive skin and she suggested I try dermaplaning and a light chemical peel. The whole experience was so relaxing, all the staff were very friendly, and she took extra care to make sure my skin was hydrated and moisturized in preparation for the treatments. I started transitioning last summer and have been doing laser on my face and body with Madisen since then, about six total sessions. I was pretty intimidated, especially as a baby trans girl feeling weird about my body, but she's professional and friendly and makes me feel comfortable (except for the parts currently being zapped by lasers). I've been seeing Blanca at Blue Haven for facials (microderm and dermaplaning) for many years now and have never been disappointed. While the experience is luxurious, the ambiance of this place is quite simple and functional. No fancy art or fountains or flute music. I've also had all my LHR done here - they charge by 15-minute increments which I think is the most fair way. My first and only Juvaderm injections (for cheekbones) were done at this spa by Lisa who has sadly moved away. I was on the fence for years and she did a great job putting me at ease and creation a natural look that gave me a bit more symmetry. This spa also has a complete set of InMode skin and muscle tightening treatments as well as microneedling but I'm not brave enough for any of those! I went in for micro needling. A rather uncomfortable procedure, that I volunteered to opt for. What I left from the experience, was the interaction I had with Dr. Ben. He guided me through the process, telling me stories about his experiences. I went away feeling like I spent time with a lovely human being. Cosmetic procedures are not uplifting while they are happening. However, I enjoyed the time I spent with him. I saw Annie Osnis for lip filler and couldn't be happier with the results! My lips are difficult to work on because they're uneven and small. If the filler isn't injected evenly it can look very obvious. Annie did a beautiful job making them look symmetrical and naturally full. She asked for my input during the whole process and we tweaked my lips until they were perfect. I've never seen an injector work with so much precision! I came here with a friend who found one of the people who do the injections to correct some botched work someone else did to her lips. I had always been interested in Botox but never had the courage to look into it. As I was waiting with my friend for moral support, I asked the doctor (I think they are doctors?) some questions about my forehead and he did a consultation on the spot. I joked about getting in right away because the price was so much less than I anticipated. The next appointment called in to cancel that very moment so they were able to get me in 5 minutes later for Botox! The results were incredible and they had a great rewards program with discounts! I was so impressed by how quick they got me in and how friendly and flexible the staff was! On my next appointment, I had a work engagement come up last minute so I had to reschedule same day. I came here for lip filler for my first time and I wish I would have gone elsewhere.The experience was painful and rushed.After everything healed,my top lip was way bigger than my bottom lip. I went to Skin Logic for my second round of filler and had this problem fixed .The nurse working for Skin Logic took time to discuss the procedure with me,took photos and talked with me about what my goals are. I received a laser facial from Dr. Killey which was awesome. He targeted specific spots where I had sun damage and darker pigment. He did a consultation ahead of time to assess my desired results etc. The only thing I would change is that you get 30 minutes exactly...he will zap as many spots as he can in that amount of time. If this is your first laser facial and you have problematic skin, 30 minutes may not do the trick. I was expecting the treatment to be painful, however I could hardly feel the laser and was completely relaxed the whole time. I recently had an IPL photo facial at a different medical spa and it hurt terribly and was double the price. I am going to stick with Dr. Killey's laser facials moving forward. read more

I had the misfortune of receiving BTL EMSCULPT procedure from Dr Killey. My goal was to reduce body fat in some targetted areas of my body. Dr Killey convinced me to eschew CoolSculpting, and instead do EMSCULPT to achieve this goal, which could only be done in his clinic in the entire puget sound area. This new procedure was meant to be the "magic solution" that would once and for all rid the body of significant amount of fat. Dr Killey made huge claims about how effective this treatment is compared to other alternatives, and that the huge price was worth it. Long story short, I have been scammed. I paid a FORTUNE for this treatment, and after several months of taking care of my body with a good diet, I have not seen any difference in body fat % or gain in muscle. To make it worse, I know several people who have done CoolSculpting in the past few months, and have seen much greater differences than I have, in far less time. I feel scammed and would encourage all readers of this review to never visit Dr Killey or accept his claims for any treatment he offers read more

Wow! I just had the most wonderful facial with Blanca! She is clearly a skin expert, and her technique is thorough, adept, and gentle. While I lay on an ultra comfortable and warm bed, she first exfoliated and got rid of my peach fuzz. Then, she applied steam; layer upon layer of various cool, warm, and tingly creams; mists, and hot towels. She treated my face, neck, and decolletage; and, finished with a wonderful arm and hand massage. I left with a smooth and glowing face, feeling both relaxed and invigorated!
