I met with the owner a few times about my wedding flowers. I sent her a picture of the bouquet I wanted and she verified that was the bouquet she was doing. I even sent her two back up bouquets in case there were any issues. I specifically told her I did not want someone "creating" my wedding flowers. My bouquet looks like they grabbed whatever flowers they had around the shop and stuck them together...not even professionally arranged. My colors were burgundy and sage...they used yellow flowers in my bouquet. The pew arrangements I received were all wrong. I asked for a tulle ivory bow and flowers going down to the floor. I ended up with a white ribbon bow, ivory tulle going to the floor and roses on top. . I thought they brought me someone else's wedding flowers. They were the ugliest pew arrangements I have ever seen. They only used 2 roses on each arrangement and charged me $40 each! These were nothing like the photos I sent them. When I ordered an additional two pew arrangements without the bows...she wanted to charge me more money than she quoted me with the bows. The owner could care less, she didn't bother responding to the first e-mail I sent her. Find another florist. Use someone that has integrity in business and can admit to their mistakes and make it right. The owner has said she did nothing wrong, even though the flowers I received clearly were not what I ordered. She has offered me no compensation whatsoever. After writing my review on Yelp, I had someone go behind me and write nasty comments. Then someone that has written reviews on every website starts following me on Facebook. These are not the type of people you want to trust your special day with. Now this is the description the owner wrote on my contract... I called Blue Ivy looking for a very special funeral arrangement floral display. I spoke with Addison who quickly jumped in with the owner to help fulfill the request. I needed a flower arrangement that was more about superheroes and fun as this was being sent for a co-workers aunt who passed away. Her aunt had a disability (or ability to brighten lives), and even though she was in her 50's, she had the mind, heart, and spirit of a child. She loved to dress up as her favorite superheroes and her favorite holiday was Halloween. We felt it was appropriate to send flowers that really suited her personality. Blue Ivy Flowers & Gifts did so much more than just making this arrangement. They truly went out of their way to make this as special as possible.
