I have not done business with them since we purchased a pair of diamond earrings. They put out a set of earrings to purchase and went to the back to package. When I got home one of the earrings was cloudy and didn't match. When I came back to the store to calmly talk about not matching, the owner called the cops on me to have me leave and took my money and my earrings. After 2 weeks of no earrings and no refund they final gave me a matching earring. Never do business with these people. He'll say he told me to take my 200 and leave ha all he said was we ain't selling anything after I switched from 3 items valued at 1800$ to one item cuz he chose to smoke all blow it in my face. I planned on giving a 5 star review until the events that transpired over the last 2-3 weeks. I purchased an engagement ring, and decided to change the diamond to the cut I originally wanted a few days later all before before having it set. My fiancé did not like the ring setting so they offered to change the setting for a reasonable fee. When I got the ring back it looked good in the store, but once you went outside it was clear the diamond had a noticeably yellow tint and didn't match the diamonds in the band. I asked before we did the swap will the diamonds in the band match the center stone and was told they would. That was a false statement. I contacted them about this to see if they could swap it out for something similar in size or what they would give on trade for something bigger that matched. They did not give any kind of information me until a week later. They told me they wouldn't give me what I paid towards a better diamond. I was well within the 30 day return policy, but they did not honor it. Additionally, I spoke with the owner, Jeremy, about why I did not get any certification paperwork or an appraisal that they said they would give me. He tells me that I went about this situation the wrong way. They offered me to pay 3600+ to trade the diamond in and brought it down to 2000+ more for the same carat weight in a better diamond and was clear they did not want to buy back what they sold me. They do not stand behind their jewelry and what they sell. The owner never acknowledged anything about giving me an appraisal or was not apologetic about me not getting the certification paperwork for the diamond that I had purchased. They operate under shady business practices. While they are nice and friendly when you go in, they don't educate their customers or provide a full understanding of all available options. This is something to consider if you are new to buying diamonds or your first engagement ring. I spent over 8k for them to be dishonest and not honor their 30 day return policy. I spoke with a couple of other local owned jewelers In the area who could not believe this place would not honor their return within the exchange policy or stand behind what they sell. I also recommend to shop around because you can get better prices. I hope this helps someone choose another business that cares about honesty, customer satisfaction and creating a life long, client relationship. Update*** The owner responded to my review on google and Facebook personally making false claims about me. I posted my receipt and text messages documenting where they would not honor return policy, he says it in the store posted and on your receipt but nothing there says anything about how many times you can return/exchange items. I went in to get an appraisal so I can get stuff with my insurance done and they said they were going to charge me $75 just for that. That's bullshit. And then proceeded to be super rude to me. I was looking for a very specific pendant to replace one that I bought her many years ago. This was the first significant gift I gave her when we we started dating. Unfortunately, she lost it a few years later. She always loved that necklace so I wanted to replace it for her for sentimental reasons. The folks at Kennedy helped me find exactly what I was looking for. They searched their catalogs based on my description of the pendant. They did not have it stock but they ordered it for me. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience, manager Jeremy was incapable of anything except denying responsibility for mistakes made.
