But a truly beautiful thing is beautiful throughout. Front to back, top to bottom, all over. So why is it OK to have a band of metal secured by cool decorative bolts on the front and then see no metal band and the butt end of those bolts on the rear? It's like painting only the front of your house. Or frosting half a cake. The job's not done. We can fix it. A strip of thin lumbar, painted and set in the right place will cover the butt ends of the bolts. And it'll only cost a few bucks. But when I paid $800 for a gate why should I have to explain that I'd like the back to look pretty too?
