I discovered Blue Macaw about four years ago and have been buying nothing but their coffee ever since then. They are local to us, so I have gotten to know the owners during that time, they are hard working and sincere people who make sure I am happy with my order every time. I see that each coffee is roasted every day, always super fresh and the place- the whole neighborhood for that matter- smells so good. I usually get the medium roast washed Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, but I have enjoyed a dozen or more of their other coffees. My new favorite is Bali Blue Moon, but the Brazilian Yellow Bourbon and Costa Rican are high on the list. They have recently gone to all organic products, which is reassuring. I can't say enough good things about this business and David and Darling are two wonderful people to buy coffee from. Horrible company. Burnt coffee and the owner is a nasty lady who insults you when you ask for the correct product. . she sent me a bag of burnt coffee instead of what I ordered. I ordered Hawaiian Kona , but it was just low quality burnt Brazillian . She insults people when she gets caught , then she blocks you as if I would ever buy again from this con artist. read more

Stay away. Coffee isn't authentic to it's origin. They are liar's! They will block you from making purchases for asking honest questions. They get all their negative feedback taken down instantly. These guys are crooks. Check Google reviews and see for yourself. read more

I see very few people complaining about a company that has over 70,000 positive feedbacks on eBay and never a negative mark. I have done business with them for over 4 years and maybe 20 orders each and every order was delivered at a rapid speed and you could smell the fresh roasted coffee without opening the package it was delivered in. Even our mail man asked about where we ordered our coffee from, he could smell it in his truck as he drove around. He joked he wanted to make our house his last stop. I did notice one thing though most of these people complying they were blocked and there is no way to find this out unless you go to purchase from them. So, these people complying all went back to buy more, go figure. There just mad they are block and can't buy anymore, In my own opinion ! read more

Did not like the coffee, definitely not what it was purported to be. Much better beans to be had from other roasters. When I contacted seller they were very rude, blocked me from buying, like I would have again! Then I left negative review , but They will use their $$ profits to EBAY to have negative feedback removed. That is why there is such a difference in rating between eBay and other sites. Read and believe all the negative feedback here because eBay removes any negative and neutral feedback. I am so disappointed in the eBay system of allowing big sellers to manipulate their ratings. read more

I just placed an order with with these guys for something that I have ordered many times in the past. What started out as a simple clerical error, changing a shipping address, ended up morphing into a mountain of stress for me. The products are good but the customer service is absolute garbage. I've sent him at least a half a dozen messages through eBay messaging and I made a post in eBay and I even went so far as to try to find his phone number online which as you already know it has been disconnected or changed no longer in service. I'm not sure how this guy conducts himself when he isn't dealing with people, but he must be a winner. read more

I've been purchasing from Blue Macaw for years and looking back I go through about 25-30lbs a year in three shipments. People rave about the espresso coffee that I make. I have taken a long time perfecting my craft but it starts with a great coffee. Blue Macaw is just that. Always fresh roasted (they say day of shipment) and packaged well. Always shipped fast with USPS two day. While I have tried many of their single origin coffees and their two blends I have settled down to two of my favorites, the three bean espresso and the Sumatra dark roast.
