My hands down favorite coffee place and we travel A LOT and live for a good coffee. You have to get the coconut latte or the island mocha (coconut and mocha) it's house made syrup (most of their syrups are). They use a good espresso so it's the perfect coffee flavor without being over powering or bitter. A must try if you're in Brunswick, on Jekyll or Saint Simons.

I absolutely loved this coffee shop! The service, the music, the vibe, and most importantly the coffee were fantastic. This place has a lot of coffee options. I chose the vanilla latte half sweet and it was perfect. They also have all of the standard coffee drinks and a few others. On my next visit I want to try the lavender latte. They also have tea and an assortment of baked goods. The blueberry scone was delicious. It was busy and bustling with activity but there is a lot of places to sit including a sunroom. They have freshly roasted beans in assorted styles and some fun but basic merchandise. I bought their stork sticker for my luggage. If I was local this would be a regular stop. Highly recommended

A friendly smile and a lovely lavender latte. Cute vibe. Would absolutely come back if I were local.

Probably one of the best coffee shops I have visited while traveling. The iced chocolate coconut coffee is delicious and reminds me of a Samoa cookie. I also snacked on the chocolate chip banana bread which was extremely moist and fresh. The shop is adorable and the baristas are so friendly! Highly recommend.

I was in desperate need of an afternoon pick-me-up! Thank goodness that I found Wake Up Coffee close by. I ran inside and ordered a hot white mocha latte. The girl who took my order was friendly and kind. My drink was ready within 3 minutes and just like that I was out the door. My white mocha latte was the perfect temperature and tasted great! It wasn't too sweet which I really appreciated. Thank you Wake Up Coffee and keep up the great work!

A delightful little cafe in Brunswick. While visiting Jekyll Island, I wanted some good coffee (good coffee is not available on the island) so I headed into Brunswick. Upon entering I saw they were making their own chocolate sauce for the mocha and unloading a tray of scones from the oven...I knew it was going to be good. I ordered a Hot Mocha and Blondie pastry. First, the blondie was so delicious I hoovered it before I remembered to take a picture. I asked the nice lady if I could get a corner piece and she obliged and it was the best decision I've made in quite some time. It was delicious and not overly and obnoxiously sweet like a lot of the baked goods I've tried down here. The Mocha was rich and delicious. A perfect blend of rich mocha chocolate flavor and espresso. This is definitely worth the trip off the island.

Wake Up Coffee is one of my all time fav coffee spots in my area. Both locations on St. Simons Island and in Brunswick are so cute and cozy. I love the remodeling they've done in both while keeping their cute & simple aesthetic. They have fresh pastries and some breakfast items like their avocado toast! I always order their turtle mocha with almond milk & whip cream hot or iced and it's never disappointed!! I love coming to get some work done, chat with friends, or solo! Such a brunswick gem and they deserve all the love

Visiting states one of my favorite things is checking out coffee shops, and this place was by far worth visiting ! I loved it, every bit of this place is amazing!

I got their medium honey vanilla raspberry latte with oat milk and it was so delicious- their coffee beans are so fresh you can taste it in the cup and it wasn't fairly sweet or overpowering, the perfect balance to your morning. Will definitely try again!

Ask the Community - Wake Up Coffee

I can't find their menu online. I read that they have some non-dairy milks, which is great. Do they have any vegan pastries?

They have soy and almond milk. I am not sure about Vegan pastries, I am a carnivore.

Would like to know if they have sugar-free options for those of us whose bodies are treating sugar like poison? Ugh! Imagine that! Quote from my 103 year old nana, Bessie Alberta Gammon Johnson. Mine is "What's up with that?"

Yes, they have sugar-free options. Vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, and coconut syrup.

The food was served fresh, they took their time to make it right, and I would call it above average as far as hole in the wall seafood places go. Our waitress Marie was not to be messed with and she knew what to do and went to do it. The guys playing live music were actually very good but of course it was way too loud for such a small room. They would have done a lot better with me had they just played their acoustic guitars without any amplification. this could be said of any Seaside restaurant though. We did have to talk at full volume to hear each other at a small table all the way across the room from the band. There is pretty much zero parking anywhere so you will probably have to park somewhere and walk to this place but it was a very enjoyable dinner with big portions of fresh seafood and it really hit the spot. The service was good, as well. Plus, it's pretty much the only place around to get any kind of seafood. We will be going back and I would recommend this place for visitors.

After an hour and 20 minutes, our food never came, she had never come back out to the deck to check on any of the tables, and our drinks were empty. We decided to leave. When we went to the register to pay for our drinks and leave, she threw her pen, said they only had 2 people working and 1 cook, and said we don't have a problem with locals here insinuating that we were the problem.

Even though I ordered my hash browns extra crispy they were just regular. The second day I had a biscuit instead of the toast. It was flaky and pretty good.
