Unprofessional shady business. I don't usually write reviews but this is really upsetting for a business on Yelps is so dishonest and unprofessional. Over promising: I received several quotes from Yelp. This person from BlueMan called Cesar sent me a lowest among all and stated "we can do it all for $850" (see attachment). I wanted to make sure he understood the job so we had a talk over the phone. Everything went well and time was set up at 8:30am-9am. Of course, it was too good to be true. Unresponsive and irresponsible: Surely 9am came and gone no signs of technician. I waited, texted, and Cesar finally picked up the phone. He said it's raining and made up an excuse that they thought the rain will be on next day. I told him that it's weird because the forecast all along predicted rain on today. Even they couldn't come, they should let me know. Instead, they had me waited. Dishonest pricing: A technician came 30mins after the rescheduled time. He came and said he only does estimation and he can't do the job until later. Of course the price will be $1800+ (see attachment). A thousand dollars more than before. Both my wife and I had to take the time off to accommodate the appointments that they didn't come. Technician came unprepared. We were off to a great start and it continued throughout the job. Guys are REALLY nice, very respectful, professional and did excellent work. They actually left the work areas WAY cleaner than they were to begin with. RUDY is the best!! He upgraded our electric panel last year for a 1960s home when we installed a new HVAC. He passed the city inspection on the first try and patched up everything nicely. He came to the rescue again when we encountered problems after new GFCIs were installed in kitchen but started short circuiting new appliances in the kitchen. All on the same day: we called them and whomever answered the phone said that "Frank" would call us back in 10 min. Frank did call back; we told him the basic problem: recently, the kitchen light has been working off & on; and when it's not working, the lights in some of the other rooms don't work either. And, one of the wires (used by the kitchen light) may be "hot" when it shouldn't be. Frank said he could come by after his current job and that he'd text us when he was on his way. Maybe an hour later, he texted us, saying that he was on his way. About 15 min later, he arrived; we showed him the problem. He did some inspecting, testing, wire cutting, wire binding, etc. After all of that, he was ready to test the lines; everything looked good and so he reinstalled the light -- all lights went on and everything worked! First time ever that we called for a service and the service guy, not only came the same day, (quickly, came the same day) but fixed the problem too! And he was very friendly and had a nice demeanor! My family needed a technician, and when I started to look for one, I came to Yelp. So glad I found Frank and his team to do the job. I had two rooms in my house that lost electricity.I thought it was just a couple of rooms that needed of a rewiring. When Frank came to the house, and did an inspection, he discovered that wires had melted, and it was a safety issue! My parents house had never been re-wired since the house was built in the 50's! We were very fortunate that the house didn't burn down. He suggested that we re-wire the house and bring it up to code. These guys were amazing. Rudy and Rigo were beyond professional and truly have a skill for what they do. They never got frustrated or rude about how crazy of a job redoing the 1950's electricity in our dream home was even though it entailed having to rewire two large relay boxes that connected every light switch and wall plug outlet in the house. They also changed every wall plug to 3prong plugs and every light switch to rocker switches since the old ones were touch. It was a huge job that took them about 7 days of work often working 8-10 hours. But other electricians that came out didn't know how to rewire it or wouldn't touch it. I am highly impressed by the professionalism, the quality and the affordability that BlueMan offers. In my case, my house had cluttered wiring and an under-amped electrical box. For instance: the refrigerator, garbage disposal, washer and dryer was on one circuit. I called BlueMan because of the reviews on Yelp and the locality of the company. Rudy came by and immediately spotted the problem; the house lacked adequate dedicated lines and the breaker box was too small for the house. Rudy gave an excellent quote to change the electrical box from 100 to 200 amps, and run 7 new dedicated lines in my kitchen and laundry room. But that's not all. Rudy and his crew installed recess lighting in the living room and installed a Ring floodlight in the backyard and two floodlights on the side yard, repaired a cut cable line (my mess-up), and fixed a few other electrical sockets. True professionals, don't waste your time or money with other electricians, call these guys first and you'll be glad you did. I had 3 units with old fuses and old electrical wiring. I called BlueMan and Rudy was not only knowledgeable but very honest. Rudy provided an estimate to replace the old fuse box with a new breaker panel, rewire the electrical on the inside for each unit, replace existing outlets with new ones, add additional outlets and install GFCI outlets in the kitchen and bathrooms. The estimate was very reasonable, Rudy and his crew even cut down a tree that was in the way to install one of the breaker panels.
