I'm very meticulous and like things done the right way, so I interviewed few electricians. None of them gave me the confidence I needed, until I contacted and met Chris. From the start, he answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly, explaining exactly how he would handle the project. I could tell immediately that he takes pride in doing things correctly and to code. Although I had to wait for him to fit my project into his schedule, it was absolutely worth it. When the job began, Chris and his crew, Ryan, Ramon and Diego arrived early every day, ready to work. They were professional, serious about their craft, and incredibly organized. As someone who knows a bit about electrical work myself, I truly appreciated the high quality of workmanship, precision, and care they all brought to the job. Chris didn't just oversee the project--he rolled up his sleeves and did the hands-on work, even mixing plaster/stucco to patch holes after the installation of the new panel. I didn't expect that level of detail, but he went above and beyond. By the time he finished, you couldn't even tell an old panel had been there. He showed up on time and provided options for the work that needed to be done. We decided to go ahead with the work and he proved himself by once again showing up on time, completing the job, and cleaning up after himself. I give him credit for pulling the permit given LA COUNTY can be difficult due to my home being located in unincorporated South East Whittier. Finally, he notified us the inspection would take place the next day and he along with his crew were there to assist and answer any questions that the inspector may have had. Left a message over the holidays and they got back to me the next business day to schedule a visit. During the visit Robert was able to see what was described to him over the phone, checked my fuse box, confirmed that the work is possible and provided a quote that is satisfactory. I asked if he can perform the work then and there which he is able to accommodate the request. About an hour later the work is completed and he showed me what was done and provided me information such as what switch he connected to. No drywall repair or paint was needed. This review is long overdue…read more My husband and I bought our house in 2022 and the first things we wanted to do was install our car charger and have someone look at our old electric to figure out if we needed to prioritize upgrades. Primo was the third company we reached out to for estimates and we chose them off of good vibes and competitive prices. I'm grateful for it. These guys are solid, honest people and won't recommend things you don't need. In fact, if you have a wild idea for something that is unnecessary or costly, they'll tell you up front so you know in advance. In addition to doing things the right way, they're respectful. I've chatted with a few companies about various house projects and David and Jesse treated me (a woman) like my input matters just as much as my husband's. It signals competence, excellence, and professionalism when, even though I say "my husband is the boss," a contractor checks with me just in case. And, it prevents arguments down the road. We've rehired Primo for light fixture swaps, outlet adds, new switch fixtures, and we plan to hire them for our upcoming upgrades because they're all around good people who do good work. Since this is a rental, we needed it corrected properly for liability concerns. We called four electrical companies. Three declined outright, saying the job was too small. The other, ghosted us twice. I was referred to Harrison Electric and Solar by a friend. They arrived on time, assessed the problem and listened to what we wanted to do. Since the electrical box was installed in the 90's they upgraded everything and ran wiring inside the fire break wall to a new outlet. Everything is now up to current code, and we have peace of mind.
