In fact, if you have a wild idea for something that is unnecessary or costly, they'll tell you up front so you know in advance. In addition to doing things the right way, they're respectful. I've chatted with a few companies about various house projects and David and Jesse treated me (a woman) like my input matters just as much as my husband's. I can run nearly every appliance, lights and plugs (minus A/C, electric cooktop and oven) for as long as it takes for Edison to turn back on the grid. Since I haven't had an electric bill in years, the cost for the backup is worth my peace of mind.
