I needed a new electric vehicle charger installed, along with a new receptacle on the side of my house for a floodlight cam and a new outlet above the fireplace. We hired Ryan Electric to upgrade our old electrical panel to a 200 amp service and add a few outlets around the house. Not sure why this place has 5 stars. Initially when I first requested the service I got a response right away got an electrician in the next day (Tuesday). The person went through the house and said he would get me a quote by the end of the day. When I didn't hear back on the quote I followed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday no response. Finally I ended up sending a message on yelp where I was told the electrician might have been in field and couldn't answer. I responded with "I have tried several times and haven't gotten a response" to which the response was "he has Covid but I will be sure to get you a quote today." Seems contradictory. Mr. Ryan installed a Tesla wall connector for me at an extremely good price ($300) which was by far the best quote that I received. The quotes went as high as $800. Mr. Ryan installed a 60 amp breaker and ran #6 wire to the wall connector. I know it was installed correctly because my Tesla is charging at 45 miles an hour. I highly recommend him if you're considering a Tesla wall connector or a 240V outlet to charge your electric vehicle. I cannot say enough good things about Robert and Ryan Electric. My wife and I recently bought a house in the Whittier area that hadn't seen much work since the 1960s. Naturally, the electrical panel and wiring needed an upgrade. After a bad experience with a personal referral to another electrician and a nightmarish experience getting a new electrical panel permitted by the City of Whittier, we thought we were out of the woods. We were wrong! Lots of issues started to reveal themselves when we finally moved in. Plugging things into outlets would trip circuits. Running the dishwasher tripped a separate circuit that the garbage disposal was on. It was terrible.
