Caldo de Marcos had no flavor, all you tasted was cumin!!! The white rice was over cooked, shrimp cocktail was half full with no flavor. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone!!! read more

The Blue Marlin has an authentic Mexican feeling to the restaurant. I think we got lucky and were able to find ourselves with live music by this one man. If you ever come here and see him playing his guitar, tip him. He deserves it. I tried the "Pescado Cancun" which was out of this world good. The only problem I could come across is how dirty the outside was as we found trash in a lot of the outside area. In my opinion, a clean place says a lot about a restaurant and I was not impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment. Mostly grilled fish, large drinks and good prices. 3/5 read more

I use to really like this place. Not anymore, food was so so. Ordered the fried shrimp it was not what I expected. Shrimp was soft with some kind of seasoning not fried. I'm surprised by the numerous poor ratings. We went tonight and found this place charming and the staff attentive. It's definitely a greasy spoon / hole in the wall kind of place but that add to the charm. The whole table ordered the same thing - full shrimp plate. It was amazing. It was more than I could stuff away in my 300 lbs frame. Lightly battered, butterflied, tail removed, fresh caught deep fried jumbo shrimp. They were delicious! Maybe the best I have ever had. Ordered grilled shrimp. Food was cold and unappetizing. I managed to eat the shrimp by putting lime juice on it, which is something I never do. Wife ordered fajitas. Her food was cold as well. Fajitas were nothing more than finely chopped steak pieces. We were moved to a different table because of a dead fish in a fish tank. I noticed that the person serving us was using their bare hands to clean the dead fish out of the tank. I can only hope that she cleaned and sanitized her hands. 1 star because we ate some of the food. Update. Went here for lunch after church - the first time I've ever been. It was SO dirty and gross. The return air grill was right next to me and it was so dirty it was almost enough for me to walk out before I even sat down. I got a high chair and it was filthy. No one came to greet us or take a drink order for a good 5 minutes even though the restaurant was very empty. My half order of fried fish was gross. My sons fried shrimp were over fried and he would eat. The only thing that was good was the shrimp rafafar. They brought out my kids food and we had to wait another 5-7 minutes for adult plates. Being only about 30 minutes from the coast, you would think they would serve fresh shrimp. While the price is decent, you get what you pay for. The shrimp were small and you could tell that they were frozen with batter. I know this because my wife ordered grill shrimp. The shrimp was the frozen shrimp with most of the batter pulled off and thrown on the fryer for a minute or two. How pathetic is that? 30 minutes from the coast where the shrimp boats are and they serve frozen shrimp...give me a break! And please...stop serving salad with my seafood! read more

When you order fish with a sauce over it look close. I ordered and sent back TWO lunches that had raw fish under the sauce. The fried fish was white and flaky. One in the party did not receive the Texas Toast. Service was very slow. read more

Went here once for dinner. menu was very limited for seafood, basically fish or shrimp dishes and im not even sure what kind of fish it was. The cleanliness of the place was questionable especially after seeing dead bugs inside the picture frames hanging on the wall.
