The spa name describes the space perfectly - a quaint, three room salon nestled on Main Street. The facilities were clean, and we were greeted with cold waters upon entering. For the facial portion: Mindy was terrific and knowledgeable in her craft. She explained each step of the facial, and asked thoughtful questions about my skincare routine prior to performing the signature facial. Mindy incorporated her massage therapy background into the facial by treating me to a scalp massage and neck stretch - one of my favorite parts!! My skin was absolutely radiant after an hour with Mindy (before & after attached). For the massage portion: My hour with Lovely went by far too quickly!! Come from an athletic background, it's hard for me to find a massage therapist that truly targets muscle movement and applies enough pressure to work through my knots. Lovely did just that. She has a very kind demeanor and made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire massage. I highly recommend seeing her especially for anyone who leads an active lifestyle!

Well I have been a long time customer of Ashley's and every time I try a new service I am hooked! It all started with eyelash extensions. I won't go into too much detail because that's on my review on Salon Shag so I will just say one word about her eyelash extension work......FABULOUS!!!!!! Now I am happy to say, that I have had the pleasure to experience a full range of Ashley's services. Facials, waxing, and make up application have been recently tried (along with my bi-monthly lash appointments) and I love them all! Ashley did my makeup for a huge family event and everyone loved it! I LOVED IT!!! It was beautifully noticeable but not heavy or gaudy or too much for a family day event. Ashley is definitely an artist and knows how to tailor your look for your event. Waxing....well...waxing is waxing right? NO!!!! Whatever it is....her technique, her wax, whatever...it is not painful and I never am irritated or red after wards (FYI I get my brows and upper lip done). I am a big fan of her microdermabrasion and hydro facials. What makes me continue to be a loyal client is that she provides 110% customer satisfaction. I like how she stays with you for your entire treatment of the facial, providing washing, extractions, treatment, the most wonderful hand and shoulder massage while the mask is on. Also be sure to check out the reviews that have been muted by Yelp. Needless to say, the response from the business isn't great. They don't take accountability; there is no apology; there is no effort to make it right. Instead, they tried to say it happened a while ago (it happened about a year ago) and that I lied. I did not. As I mentioned in my first review, I received a PARTIAL refund. I am still out of pocket $1,200 for services I was unable to use. I would have been happy to move that money to facials or something else, but they refused and only offered the laser treatment. There are a lot of med spas out there. My recommendation is to check out another place.
