went for couples massage. we walked out of the car at 2:20 to get a massage. we were almost ten min late due to wrong location so not sure if our massage was cut ten min by accident or because of that. massages started after 2:30 and ended by 3:20. made me super uncomfortable when i was asked if i spoke chinese because of my back tattoo. was also uncomfortable when they started talking between each other after seeing it. and again talking and laughing when i said i don't speak it. they talked through the whole thing whispering or talking. as we were leaving, the lady starts saying we have to tip. and my partner genuinely forgot to then said can you take card. he says 15$ and she then shows a hidden sign behind the prices (literally the back of it). that says $10 minimum tip. oh also we asked in the front to add the hot stones and were not added insane to demand a tip when we didn't have a good experience read more

Did the Groupon 60-minute body massage with hot stones, aroma therapy & body scrub. Her name is Tina & she did a great job! She started with very light massage & quickly noticed the tightness in my upper back & used deep pressure, which I appreciate....hurts so good! My legs were tight & in addition to the massage she stretched me out a bit. As for the hoy stones, she let them rest on my back while she massaged my legs & eventually used them to massage my back & legs. The body scrub on my back, hamstrings, & calves was wonderful. I don't think there was aromatherapy but I didn't mind. It was a great massage for a great price. Tina was polite & nice & so was the person I spoke with on the phone to make the appointment. Horrible massage!! The lady was very rough and I told her it's too hard. She ended up laughing at me with the other masseuse in the room and continued to be rough. After another 5 minutes of torture the other masseuse asked if it's too hard and I said yes it hurts. Then they laughed again and started massaging me just a little less, it was still painful. The date falls on a Monday and we both work so i just thought id try to ask if they can accommodate us at 7:30 pm. And they did! And it was amazing! My husband and i loved it! The ladies who did our massage adjusted the intensity level as we moved along with the massage. The hot stones were hot but warm hug hot or depending on how hot one runs their shower on a cold day, it could be hotter for some and not enough heat for others. But they will make the adjustments just ask nicely. And yes the scrub scent reminds me of a car freshener but you know what, I got more than i paid for and would pay full price for next time. I came here before on Groupon and it was ok, I went a month later and did 1hr for $60 prepaid. While getting my massage she said 30 mins more for total $90. I agreed, come to pay and she tried to charge $60 again, I said no it's $30 more... I already paid $60. That's $90. She then says how much tip? $50 total ok? I said no. $15! Massage is OK but hot stone is not warm enough. They only got warmer when it was rubbed on your body fast. When it was left on your back, I couldn't feel it was hot enough. They kept opening the massage room door and leaving it open that the draft of air comes in the room is cold. And it was a cold day. They didn't ask if I want a certain area to be massage more. When done, they asked for more tip ( I already gave them a tip ). Also, I paid more for their massage in groupon compared to what their advertised price list that is printed in their lobby. It's more like an hour spent doing rapid sun salutations in a hot yoga studio after four cups of coffee. This was perhaps one of the most unique massages I've ever had, and I've done it all: cheap-o massages where the masseur barely touched me, Swedish massages that pinpointed trouble areas in a typically effective way, and Thai massages where nice, old ladies walked on my back. This particular massage therapist used very warm, rapid strokes that woke up every atom in my body. Instead of simply placing the hot stones on my back toward the end, she rubbed them in with her hands. Finally, she finished using a rough, lemon-scented scrub that left my whole body tingly and alert. I'm almost 39, and my body has begun betraying me in a number of ways--but this massage reminded me how I've been betraying it right back. I groaned like a 78-year-old man throughout the seventy-five minutes (of which I only paid for 60). I think I even whispered, "I'm so sorry" at one point while tears formed in the corner of each eye. When I finally was flipped over and forced to make reticent eye contact with my masseuse, she gazed at me innocently, with an almost Christ-like reassurance as if to say, "Really? You thought downing a bottle of pinot last Wednesday was a good idea? And the tempura veggies last night didn't help, either." After all of my internal organs seemed to assimilate and sing, "You need to treat your body better!" at me in the style of a tragic Greek chorus, I looked at her, and in my eyes pled, "I promise I will change. I'll go macrobiotic vegan. I'll stop stressing about pointless work crap. Anything." She again looked at me with those halcyon eyes as if to respond, "No, you won't--but it's okay. I'll always be here for you," as she ground out what I feared was a crap I'd leave steaming on the massage table. Luckily, it was just a mild (and hopefully scentless) boof. I booked a couples massage a day in advance. I showed up 20 minutes early and 2 girls at the counter started freaking out - giggling and talking in a paranoid way in a foreign language. When I told them I knew I was a little early but it's ok & they don't need to stress... the one who spoke English (barely) said to come back in 1 hour because they took someone else instead of us. She then changed it and said... actually 5pm (2 hours from the original appointment). They didn't apologize, they just kept laughing and walking away while talking to us but really it seemed like they were just talking to each other. I'm a first generation American, I speak 3 languages... I love supporting small businesses/immigrants but I do not like being treated this way. We made a reservation, showed up - only to waste gas, get no apology, and get told various times to return... not knowing if they would even take us at that time. They also spoke pretty loudly - strange for a massage facility. There was just no respect or care for the client or their time. The price seems high for the lack of service by individuals who aren't licensed, don't speak English (how can you communicate needs during the massage?), and who don't conduct business professionally. If you found them on a discounted site, look somewhere else. This is the Not So Nice Massage. I didn't get a massage, I work hard for my money and support those who do the same.
