So so glad that I met Sunny in this process of buying my fiancé's engagement ring. I talked to jeweler after jeweler after Jeweler in the Jewelry District in DTLA and even though I had an idea of what I wanted, i'm just like many other people in my position, being very much a novice when it comes to buying their first engagement ring. Every single person I talked to including jewelers that I had been referred to all felt like they were used car salesman trying to make the most profit off of me as possible by any means necessary. And I get businesses are in business to make money but you can tell when somebody is trying to screw you. Especially when you go talk to somebody else afterwards and compare all the lies that you're being told. After spending weeks unsuccessfully trying to find the right ring/diamond a friend of mine told me about Sunny and told me not to look any further. That he would give me a fair deal and go out of his way to try to get whatever it is that i wanted. So glad that I ended up meeting Sunny. The whole process went from being very stressful about being screwed to feeling like I had a close friend on the inside who was going to find me the diamond/ring that I was wanted for my fiancée. I was looking for a yellow diamond which makes the whole search more complex but not only did Sunny find what I was looking for but even better; he found a bigger diamond (2.66), with higher clarity (VVS1) all the paper work (GIA certified) at a noticeably better price than anybody had quoted for smaller/lower quality. I spent over four months looking online and four weeks in the jewelry district to find something that I was happy with. After speaking to so many vendors and examining what I wanted, I finally got something I was satisfied with. I went to "Blue Moon Forever." What made them different from others was simple, their customer service was great, they were patient with my questions, they cared about what I wanted, and they had a good variety of sapphires. Just to make sure I was not making a hasty decision, I told them I was still looking around and they encouraged me to take my time. I took many days off, but no other vender really satisfied what I wanted. It was always one thing or another, and "Blue Moon Forever" always on my list. There were other places that had good customer services and merchandise but "Blue Moon Forever" had a stronger inventory based on my needs. They had GIA certified gems and they made custom rings designs. The process was easy. I drew a ring out with features I loved and he made a CAD design out of it. The first draft was good, but I wanted something changed on it. After emailing some new specs, he quickly made the adjustments. When I saw the adjustments, it was perfect and I gave him the green light to go with the design. He called me a several days later and said it was done. (The whole process was about a week from conception to the final product.) I made a crazy excuse to my girlfriend and left quickly to pick it up.
