I'm so grateful to have found Blue Moon Pilates. I'm 70 years old and reasonably fit but I have two physical challenges that make Yoga, for example, not a good fit. Blue Moon is so welcoming, beginning with Janet at the front desk. I took advantage of two reduced price private sessions so that I learned how to safely participate in the group classes. Grayson taught me how to accommodate a knee and neck issue. I then moved onto group sessions. There is a max of 6 participants per session and staff take great care to make sure your form is correct. I'm in beginner classes and it is a whole-body workout, including flexibility and balance. I can honestly see how even a much younger person could really benefit from this type of workout. I have never done Pilates and did not grow up dancing. My wife has been coming to Blue Moon for a few years and tried to get me to go but you know how that goes. Late last year I discovered that my left hip was severely arthritic and would require a total replacement. Prior to the surgery I began going to PT and then reluctantly began private Pilates sessions at Blue Moon with Heidi. After assessing my gait and posture she began a program to improve my overall functionality. 5 weeks later I had my surgery and when I was given clearance by my surgeon I went back to PT and Pilates. I stopped going to PT after 3 months but have continued with Pilates at Blue Moon. It has been a challenging year adjusting to my new hip but I would not have made the progress without Pilates. I apologize for the long into and now I can give you some thoughts about Blue Moon. The people who work at Blue Moon Pilates are friendly and helpful. I never felt embarrassed or shamed about the fact that I was a newbie (or a guy). Heidi is my private instructor who is very precise in how I need to do the exercises correctly. She does it with wit and humor to where I look forward to my sessions. She keeps things fresh and challenging for me. I have also had sessions with other instructors and they are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Acacia runs the front desk and helps keep my schedule humming along with text and email reminders. The facility is very clean with wood flooring and all their equipment is kept clean and in great working condition. Blue Moon Pilates has been great for my overall well being and health. If you're considering Pilates, Blue Moon has everything you'd want in a top notch facility. read more

I was referred by a friend and absolutely love it. I had previously taken a class elsewhere and found it too challenging to keep up as I had never taken pilates before. So I opted to purchase the intro private package. My instructor Laura was amazing and quite knowledgeable. She was very patient and kind which helped make me feel comfortable and confident. Now I'm taking her reformer 1 classes and love it. The studio is very nice - bright and spread out. From the reception area, to the bathroom, to the relaxation room, to the class area, to the large private sessions space, everything is very clean. The equipment is diverse and well maintained. Also, the customer service is top of line. It is definitely not cheap, but we'll worth it. I highly recommend Blue Moon Pilates. read more

Blue Moon also offers Balanced Body teacher education courses which shows in their everyday pilates practice. I have always felt safe at your studio. Prior to COVID the studio always had safety in mind so the change was not really that different except for mask. We already social distance in the studio to respect the needs of the clients. The studio is clean and organized. The trainer are professional who treat their clients with kindness, friendliness, meeting their needs each time you attend, checking on you and see how you did with your pilates session but most of all you are part of the family at Konnect. The studio is tucked in a little mall type area but don't fret you don't want to skip your class here especially if it's with Angela G! Monday and Saturday classes right now and wow, she's got the best method around. I drive from Newport because of her amazing technique and instruction. Konnect Pilates is the best! All of the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. I love their newest instructor Tiffany! Her Wednesday morning Deep Pilates Reformer class is very challenging, but she makes it fun and gives lots of great corrections and adjustments to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly and safely. My daughter, who has back and knee pain from years of basketball, started taking privates with Tiffany and already feels stronger and more flexible. We both love her fun, friendly and gregarious teaching style and would highly recommend her for group classes, as well as privates. read more
