Seems to be the best place to stop in Hope for a coffee, snack or a surprising range of other beverages. The interior could be brighter - it's very dark. Service can be a little slow but then we've typically been through at busy times and it's hard for a business like this design around the long weekend rushes. read more

We stop here a few times a year when we are passing through Hope. I like the vibe here and always look forward to my next visit. They're pretty busy but very efficient getting everyone through so feels a little rushed sometimes. I'm vegan so is easy to pick what I'm having. Could use some more vegan options. Stopped by for a snack and a coffee on my way from Vancouver to Vernon on Saturday (I like to find a local coffee shop when I stop while travelling). Blue Moose has warm and inviting decor, very friendly staff, lots of great baked goods (the date square was very good, though it was a bit sweet even for me with the sweet tooth I have), and an excellent decaf mocha for the road (with a 15 cent discount for my travel mug!). I have stopped here a few times now but i think i will try out some new places next time. There sandwiches and quesadillas are good, but everything is pre made so sometimes it's a bit mushy. The soup is delicious. Coffee and Teas are great. They have free wifi, and lots of seats. read more

We've been here a few times when we pass through Hope for a bite to eat. It's always busy and the food is very good and different. The one bad comment I would make is that it is a little on the pricey side for their sandwiches and desserts, but as we don't come here often it's a real treat. read more

Best coffee I've ever tasted!! This is a nice, quiet place to relax and enjoy a cuppa, as well as a variety of food & dessert items. I love the funky, artsy atmosphere, and the coffee is smooth and robust, never bitter. They even source their coffee ethically from a small cooperative in Latin America that the owner has personally visited ~ very impressive! read more

This has become my new place to stop off for a snack when passing through to the OK Valley, especially after the demise of the place that pre-dated The River Cafe that had the good apple fritters and some not-so-stellar experiences at the current River Cafe. If I want a burger, I'll hit the fast-food strip on the diversion, if I want coffee and WI-Fi I go here. It's got pretty good atmosphere to hang out in- possibly the best Hope has to offer, but the place seems a bit cavernous at times. Usually there is plenty of seating, which is a good thing. This place is amazing!! Service is super great and the food is unbelievable!! The kids weren't sure about the place at first, but after they ate their meals they were so glad we came here. I go to coffee shops to study, read, write, etc. I go alone. I go for space of my own. This is hands down they best coffee shop I've had the pleasure of visiting, I only wish I lived near there so that I could attend more frequently. I can tell you this much though: when it comes time to write my book, I'm moving to Hope, Canada so I can write it at the Blue Moose. read more

Stopped at this little place for coffee (my husband) and tea (for me). The decor is fabulous - featuring local artists. The drinks were super enjoyable. The best part was that the service was incredible. The gals sincerely seemed like they liked their jobs. They were joking around with us and having fun in a good way. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the washrooms were not clean and the prices were quite high. read more

Not sure about the food or the hygiene in this place. Staff were mopping floors with a filthy stinking mop and then turned around to throw some sandwiches together. Food wasn't the quality we were expecting. Won't be coming here again anytime soon. Disappointed. read more

Cozy outdoor patio table service for hot food offers a side of chips or an apple. prices are pretty high but this is to be expected in specialty coffee shops. read more
