It's in a nice, newly developed area with other restaurants and small shops close by. There's a small parking lot right outside, some street parking, and even more a short walk away. The space itself has a ton of bright light thanks to the giant windows all around. The white interior just amplifies that. There's a lot of seating ranging from small tables to communal tables and even a swanky back library-like room with couches. I had no issues with the internet while I was there and that included me being on video calls, which sometimes suck up a lot of energy. There were also plenty of outlets nearby to keep my laptop charged up. When it comes to what I ordered, I went with an egg and cheese sandwich and an iced oat milk latte. As for my latte, they had some fun seasonal offerings and I went with one that had pear in it. That was a total first for me and I had no idea what to expect. That said it was down right delicious and I would order it again. My sandwich was pretty mediocre if I'm being honest, but I was starving and there weren't many other options. All in all, I had a lovely experience and would return as well as visit their other locations next time I'm in Georgia.

I absolutely loved their matcha drink called the shire. It had the perfect addition of strawberry to it. We also got breakfast sandwich with egg & cheese, it was delicious. The cafe is super cute but super loud. I wouldn't say it's a place that good for working but overall a great place to head drinks and a quick breakfast food item.

These tasty treats are made with quality ingredients and are super fresh. Placing an order online was straightforward and they were delivered neatly. Biting into one of their marshmallows is like biting into a cloud. They aren't overly sweet, which I appreciate. These make wonderful gifts too. Thank you B!

They are most famous for their marshmallow-cookie sandwiches, with flavors such as Raspberry Hibiscus, Spiked Espresso, Vanilla Salted Caramel, 80% Chocolate, Mint Chocolate, Southern Favorite Red Velvet, and seasonal flavors like Pumpkin Ginger; they even have a key-lime flavored, limited-time Pride Celebration marshmallows! They also have mini marshmallows, petit beurre (shortbread-style) cookies, as well as the option to customize flavors (perfect for favors or gifts)! All are made using Fair Treat chocolate, rBST free butter, whole vanilla beans, and/or dried hibiscus flowers, all preservatives/corn syrup/eggs/colorings-free :D In addition, the marshmallows are kosher and gluten-free :D I really love their Vanilla Marshmallows, as they are literally pillows of heaven - soft, fluffy, perfectly sweetened, and so addicting! While these treats are very fresh, they last for about 3 months (but, be sure they'll be totally gone way sooner than that!). You can also zap them in the microwave or the toaster oven for a few seconds to make it all nice and warm. You can order online with ease, or visit specialty shops throughout the States to purchase (locations are listed on their site). Dawsonville keeps proving that great local businesses are alive and well…read more I stopped by IGY6 Coffee Company and immediately understood why people enjoy spending time here. Chris and his wife have built something special. The shop is clean, welcoming, and incredibly well thought out. Whether you're looking for a comfortable couch to relax, a family table, an individual workspace with power outlets, or just a quiet place to read a book, they've created a space that works for everyone. One of my favorite touches was their community book exchange. Grab a book, enjoy a coffee or pastry, read for a while there or at home, and bring it back when you're finished. It's a simple idea, but it adds a lot of character to the shop. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I went with the COMBAT CLUB sandwich (ham, turkey, bacon, swiss, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, garlic aoli on sourdough), chips, a Diet Coke, and a Reese's peanut butter cookie. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The sandwich was loaded with meat and made for a great lunch. The service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. You order and they'll call out your name for pick up when it's ready. I also got to meet Cassie, the service dog who quietly hangs out in her own little corner. She was adorable and perfectly behaved. What stood out most wasn't any single menu item... it was the atmosphere. The entire place feels like it was designed to bring people together. Between places like Roundabout Deli, Hatsu Hibachi, and now IGY6 Coffee Company, Dawsonville is building a reputation for some truly outstanding locally owned businesses. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Thank you Chris & team for doing what you do!! Wishing y'all much success Edit: They also have a drive thru

The house coffee with cream was lukewarm; almost as if the pot had been turned off. The 2 iced caramel machiattos with whipped cream, purchased for a co-worker, looked & tasted different as night & day. IGY6 in old town Dawsonville is convenient for a drive thru and it's nice to have options. The coffee is actually pretty good, but my last 2 visits, a week apart, have been disappointing for the quality, freshness and price. I will give it a whirl for a 3rd time at the new location ... the 3rd time is a charm, right?... and everyone has off days or maybe growing pains? I very much would like for them to succeed.
