Had to update my review since Yelp took away the ability to edit after a certain amount of time has passed and the tip feature has long been removed, sadly! They now have savory breakfast items! According to the worker who helped me recently, this is a really new addition to the menu. I tried the chorizo wrap and it was really good! I only tried this kind of chorizo once a long time ago and for some reason I didn't care for it. I was raised on Spanish chorizo (the dried out/aged kind), but this was really good and changed my mind about it! I would definitely get it again. It's in like a Taco Bell crunch wrap shape instead of burrito. I came in for my free birthday drink as well. Tried the no sugar added Caramelizer with foam top and sprinkles. It was pretty and tasty! A convenient and slightly smaller Dutch Bros location. The coffee slaps and the staff radiates kindness the service is fast, they have physical menu on kiosk and QR codes. The app also makes it easier to order. They have a window for anyone who wants to order and enjoy it outside. No seating available. There are no restrooms either. WATCH OUT STARBUCKS! There are so many varieties to choose from! Parking is very tight so expect a drive through experience. I had to park across the complex and walk over. FOOD: I got the caramelizer and it was so tasty! I chose 1/2 sweetness but it was already so sweet (maybe because I also chose the whipped creme with sugar free caramel drizzle). Came on a weekday and the line wasn't too bad. I got the raspberry matcha and mud slide coffee. The raspberry matcha was definitely not the best. It tasted very artificial and there was no matcha flavor at all. Don't recommended this to any matcha lovers. The mud slide coffee was on their seasonal menu! It was pretty good and pretty sweet. It will definitely be suitable for those who like sweeter drinks. The service while getting my order taken was okay. So it hasn't even been a month since Dutch Bros Coffee opened up and quite frankly, I'm surprised it opened up near the Starbucks that holds that corner section by the Chateau Cigar Lounge and Kara Korean steakhouse just off 141 and Medlock Bridge in the Medlock Plaza right next to the Waffle House. And it's already pumping out more customer turnover than the Starbucks has in the years I've seen Starbucks sit in that plaza. I don't know anything about Dutch Bros. All I've seen is their presence on the Internet through various different social media posts so I never had any exposure to it other than word of mouth and how popular it is. So I decided to try it. The drive through is crazy. The in-person walk up as well. Which indicates to me that they're still working out the kinks to their system. I will say that the listening skills of the people who took the orders are subpar at best. Spelled my name wrong, got the size of my drink wrong, and basically had the potential of screwing up my order had it not been for the fact that I was the only Kicker order waiting in line so thankfully they corrected it. And as you can see, I ordered the Kicker. Iced. It's espresso and Irish creme breve. It was tasty. Rich, sweet, and had a very medium roast coffee taste to it. It also lets me know that they use their own proprietary coffee it seems like because it's nothing like the local craft coffee blends or that of even Starbucks which let's be for real, Starbucks coffee is burnt beans which gives you that acidic burnt taste rather than a smooth, rich, depth that coffee is supposed to give you. I can appreciate the drinks Dutch Bros Coffee has to offer. I'll have to try their iced Americano to really see what their coffee is like but their Kicker drink, it's pretty good. Better than what Starbucks iced latte or iced mochas offer. The only reason for the average star rating is because their service isn't at all efficient and taking a simple order shouldn't have messed up the name and the size. How do you get a "medium" size drink when I specifically said LARGE???? And these folk are fighting for $15/hr??? read more

Once I got there... the drive through line was out to the streets, but surprisingly went by faster than expected. I got the kicker (espresso and Irish crème breve), which was good, but if you're looking for something sweeter get the golden eagle! After waiting a bit, I ordered the Golden Eagle Blended. It had a rich coffee flavor with a hint of caramel--really nice and smooth. I really wanted to like this place, but after several visits I just can't recommend it. Between myself and my friends, we've tried at least six different drinks here, including some of their most popular flavors like the Golden Eagle, and none of us liked a single one. The coffee itself isn't even good. Thankfully they were all our free welcome drinks, because not one of us was able to finish them. For my birthday, I decided to give it another shot with a free drink. I ordered an iced matcha with a soft top, half sweetness, and was asked to pick a flavor (I chose vanilla, though I was already a bit confused since I just wanted plain iced matcha). What I got was, honestly, awful. It didn't taste like matcha at all, not even the "grassy" taste of bad matcha. Instead, it tasted like plastic, agar agar, and a faint fishy aftertaste. No vanilla, no matcha, just something entirely unpleasant. The soft top was jiggly but not creamy, and I can't imagine what the full sweetness version would even taste like. I had three different friends try my drink just to be sure, and every single one of them agreed it was undrinkable. After tasting six gross drinks from here, I can safely say they are consistently disappointing; but at least the staff is fun, energetic, and helpful. read more

After 30 minutes, I got my drink and survived. I felt proud. Like I'd conquered a coffee-themed escape room. Then came Day Two. I discovered the app and was thrilled--free coffee! Like, what a win. I spotted a side counter and thought, "Ooh, this is the VIP fast lane!" NOPE. That "express" line was actually the queue for people who wanted to age gracefully in the sun. I waited 40 minutes, slowly roasting like a coffee bean in direct sunlight. Free coffee? More like free spray tan. It was chaos. Two lines inside: one for mobile orders and another for folks ordering on the spot. Except almost everyone in both lines was standing there feverishly tapping the app like they were trying to hack into the Pentagon. The regular order line was moving slower than a dial-up modem in 2002. I watched my youth leave my body. All this... for a coffee drink. A good one, sure--but if you're not ready to treat your caffeine run like a full-day field trip, you might wanna swing by Starbucks or The Alchemist instead in the same shopping center. Less traffic. Was excited to try Dutch Bros now that this location has opened! I tried the Golden Eagle a few times. To me, it is kinda bland if you don't add extra caramel drizzle or some kind of sweet cream or soft top. The taste of coffee has not been too strong either, but I did overall enjoy it with those adjustments. I really want to come back and try their other drinks!! I love the variety of drinks you can order along with the addition of syrups, etc. The medium size is a true medium, just like Dunkin or 7 Brew. The service is awesome. Receiving good customer service feels great! The drive thru lines have been extremely long, out to the major street even, so I would recommend parking and going up to order to avoid all of the traffic. Hopefully this gets less crowded as the months go by. The ambiance is casual. There is no indoor seating or an outside waiting area to sit. So far it is standing only. read more

Picked up a latte on my way to work and was excited for a short line right around 6:15AM. The young lady who took my order was super nice and was patient while I browsed the menu. I went with the Golden Eagle and got my drink within 5min. The drink itself was quite yummy and preferred it more than Starbucks. I did get a small and would say it's the same size as a Grande at Starbucks. I really enjoyed the caramel drizzle and how it wasn't too sweet. I also like how it is open early in the morning at 5AM. I was so excited to try Dutch Bros as I've been hearing how good they are for such a long time. Genuinely, I do not understand how people enjoy this. I got the Annihilator iced with oat milk which had next to no flavor. The flavor of the espresso was also mid. I didn't know until I went that they used Torani syrup which is part of the reason the drink was bad. Torani is so low quality to and mass market. At least Starbucks has their own syrups. It wasn't really flavorful, just tasted like milk and coffee. The second drink I had was the matcha vanilla latte and it was probably the worst drink I've ever had from anywhere. It looked slightly watered down and I couldn't taste any matcha. All I tasted was the vanilla sweetener. I asked them to add more matcha and I still only tasted the vanilla. This drink was 0/10. The waiting time here is insane. The first time, I waited maybe 25 minutes in the drive thru. The second time, I did the walk up and it was quick to put my order in but still waited 15-20 mins for my drink. There's no where to sit outside, just a place to grab your drink and go. Came on a day when it wasn't busy. Got in the line and the person outside taking orders almost got annoyed that I wanted to actually see the menu, and I was told I should have downloaded their app before coming. Extreme wait in the line, which wasn't even that long, followed. Got to the window, and was barely even noticed by their employee who was talking with another employee. Only 2 drinks, nothing special asked for on them - was handed one and told it would be an even longer wait for the other. This was after sitting at the window for a few minutes after the extreme wait in the line while the employee paid no attention. Drink wasn't even that good. The Golden Eagle, which I've had at other Dutch Bros locations, tasted like pure sugar and caramel. You couldn't even tell that coffee was even put into the drink. Poorly run, poorly managed. As a native west coaster I was excited to see Dutch Bros coming to GA! Finally! a taste of home! Welll......... The first week of this location opening the drinks were great the staff was lively and music bumping like it's supposed to be. Well now that this location has been open for a while the quality has slipped to below Dutch Bros Standard. Hot drinks not hot or the blended drinks already melted by the time we get them due to them sitting behind the counter just waiting to be handed out. Now I do understand that this location is in the process of training new staff so this review comes after several weeks of orders and most if not all of our drinks have been of poor quality so much so the last visit my wife threw hers away do to it being so bad. We so desperately wanted to give Dutch the benefit of the doubt do to this being a new location and also this is a little taste of home so we where willing to try and stick it out in hopes that the quality would get better but unfortunately it hasn't. So with a sad heart we will have to stop visiting this location due the poor quality of the drinks. I really do hope they get things straightened out soon. read more
