I believe the place was empty when we took a seat at the bar but another party of 2 followed shortly behind and sat a little bit further down the bar. I tried something that sounded better than it tasted but ultimately this is a matter of personal preference and I have a high maintenance palate. The people next to us got wings, which looked good until they were dangerously close to a leak that had sprung from one of the exposed pipes above. They had to move to a table behind us and then some of the staff got a bucket to place on the bar to catch the dripping water but that made a very loud noise so then they put a towel inside of the bucket. I will admit that I have never experienced such a thing before. It looked like the pipe that was dripping had tape wrapped over that area so they had tried a "bandaid" fix in the past but it didn't work. Obviously, this does negatively impact the "ambiance" portion of the overall experience and getting the impression that this is an issue that could have been fully addressed previously but the decision was made not to. It wouldn't stop me from going back but it certainly isn't ideal.

He told me that instead of implementing a customer loyalty program, he instead decided to offer low prices and excellent customer service. Both of these are true at this store. As the business has only been operating for three months, he's expressed willingness to carry products that regular customers want. I bought a couple of items that my wife likes, so that's a start. I plan on returning, as I like how they run things.

Never again ! I've…read morebeen shopping Liam's since it opened... have had a couple of great conversations with the older guy, Joe or Jo (Indian/Desi man)... Today I went in to buy two bottles of liquor. When I entered, it seemed like I was the only customer... in one area of the store were Joe and 3 other younger men (stocking?). Nobody said "hi" or acknowledge me - OK, no problem. I took my purchases up to the register and right before I got to the counter, a young man stepped in front of me and took the place. One of the younger workers came up to help that man. The younger man was searching for vape or tobacco products... "what about that one?" - "No, the one there?" "How man packs in that bigger packet?" and on and on... seems like it went on forever. Finally the Clerk opened the larger packet and withdrew 3 smaller packets.. "Is there anything else?" he asked, so the customer started going over types of liquors... "How much is that one?" "Come in a bigger size?' and so on... not once did the clerk say a word to me ("be with you shortly?" or "thanks for your patience"... nor did he call Joe or either of the other two workers to come forward... finally, the customer was directed to the side wall of the store to look at liquor choices... He walked away and I stood that holding my two bottles while the clerk turned away and started putting the tobacco products back on the shelf.. at the point, I moved forward and placed my two bottles on the counter and walked towards the door. THEN - that clerk looks up and fairly screams out - "SIR, I CAN HELP YOU!!" - I stepped back to the counter and said, "No you can't - you could have but you didn't... you didn't say 'hello' and you didn't acknowledge that your customer is 'special needs' - you didn't call another Clerk... so, you are losing a repeat customer..." and... He responded - "Oh well..." I went several blocks up Winchester to Hacks Cross where I bought my liquor from Southwind Liquor... NEVER LIAM's AGAIN Shop Southwind Liquors...
