Food was really good. Good portion size and prices are reasonable. Service was great and the ambiance feels homey. Definitely I'll be coming back next time I'm in Memphis.

Small, unfancy place. Great breakfast menu, sort of better than average standard. I had a bacon egg & cheese biscuit and loaded breakfast potatoes. All very good. Also had a juniper latte, which was basically a caramel latte with whipped cream and syrup swirl. Very tasty but it could have been hotter. I personally would request an extra shot of espresso next time. My friend ordered a plate of scrambled eggs, bacon. Potatoes, and French toast. All good. She ordered a cinnamon latte which was also very good. Good amount of good, good tasting, reasonable prices. What more can you ask for? I'd recommend this place.

I have never had anything but an exceptional experience here. I love it all. Great ambiance. Great service. Friendly staff. Exceptional food. I love the decor. I love the theme. I love the mismatched coffee cups. Large menu. Everything is great. They make most things fresh, in house. They have their own maple syrup, hot sauce, bread.... The only drawbacks are that it can be a little cramped and a little loud. I do not like cramped nor loud but it's not enough to keep me away from here.

Very good breakfast place located on (right next to???) and he U of M campus. It's no great secret how good the place is so you're most likely gonna have some amount of wait, whether it's waiting for a table to open or just them working through the queue (that was the wordle the other day) of people also heading in for some tasty breakfast. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. The restaurant itself is made up of like 2nor 3 different rooms of tables. The bathrooms are (well the men's room anyway I can't speak to the ladies room) is a weird set up. I can't describe it but it does lend itself to logjams! Oh man bad comparison I didn't mean it like that. Food is excellent. Very very good! I had steak Benedict and grits. Other items ordered at our table were a chorizo burrito, pancakes, and a potato bowl. They have a couple different house branded hot sauces on the table and also their own branded syrup. They have a fun mix of coffee cups, everyone gets a different one. As it's mid December they've got the Christmas ones out.

Nice coffee machine and chill environment.

Brunch without all the hassle. Just a 32 minute wait after we arrived and joined the wait list. Great customer service in a busy environment. Nice food portions and fresh hot items. Family friendly and great for groups of 4-6 people. Note: Alot of people ordered the coffee and pancakes. I'm not a coffee drinker but the lattes seemed good. I will definitely grab a pancake next time.

Brother Junipers is a well oiled machine. Expect a wait, especially on the weekends, but the service is fast & friendly. The food is cooked to order & always right. This time, I forgot to tell my waitress I wanted cheese grits so I was disappointed when my food arrived and they were plain... to my surprise, even the standard grits are great! (But the cheese grits are phenomenal). Not to mention, my entire meal was right at $20. You can't beat the price, the service, or the food quality here

We were moving my son to Mud Island to start medical school and this is the place everyone told us we had to go try! It did not disappoint! Very vintage, homey, and welcoming. Everybody very nice, accommodating, and attentive.... All the food was great, the potatoes hit it out of the park! First class ticket to Flavortown! If you are a buttermilk biscuit aficionado, you will be happy... Great smoky bacon that was crispy without ordering it crispy..... Even though we ordered full breakfasts, we wanted to try the pancake. As expected, because it was eight dollars for a single pancake, it was as big as the plate. Again, super flavorful, similar to Cracker Barrel... I love that they are fully cooked too.. see the photo... Overall, a great experience and we will return each time we visit my son ...

The food was delicious, cooked to prefection! My omelet was on point and my potatoes were seasoned just right . They made feel at home ! Thank you Brother Jumiper's for Amazing experience! My husband and I came here after the place we planned to go to wasn't accepting debit cards that morning. Best unexpected detour because this place was so good! It's a bit packed and was very busy when we went, but we were seated right away. Our food came out fast, our lattes finally came out after our food. The latte was okay. Nothing special. The omelette was very cheesy. Good flavor. The cinnamon roll pancake was huge and delicious! Really didn't even need syrup on it. I personally wasn't a fan of the cheese grits. So much cheese in them. We will definitely be back!

For me, this was a fine breakfast place, but it wasn't anything special. I had the omelette which was good, not mind-blowing. My husband got the chorizo burrito and was very disappointed that it had about 2 oz of meat and was mostly made of cheese and sour cream. My favorite part of the meal was the crispy and well-seasoned home fries. I also enjoyed the iced latte that I got! The service was good and the ambiance was cozy. If I lived closer, this might be a convenient breakfast spot, but it didn't excite me.

This restaurant was so cute and the food was delicious. I had the cinnamon roll pancake platter and it was excellent.

Before hitting the road and heading out of Memphis for a day trip, we made our way to Brother Juniper's for breakfast. Located near the University of Memphis, this is definitely a staple breakfast spot. To start, I ordered the juniper latte with oat milk. It was subtly sweet and the perfect amount of caffeine. For my order, I ordered the Florentine, which was an open faced omelette with a side of cheese grits. The omelette was fresh and flavorful and absolutely filling! The cheese grits were creamy and decadent. And the biscuit was buttery, flaky perfection. Both my father and my husband enjoyed their respective dishes - biscuits and gravy and a spicy open faced omelette whose name I now forget.

Brother Juniper's is good for breakfast, offering what is now the commonplace mix of healthy (avocado toast) with the less-so. Just on the basis of visiting Memphis for a couple of days, their "best breakfast" slogan seems accurate--to the extent that we ate there two days in a row. Biscuits were amazingly moist and flaky, the best I've had in a while. Just these are worth the stop. There are variety of egg/potato dishes available. I tried the San Diegan all out "open face omelet", but found that there were too many competing elements in the dish. Next time I would opt for one of the simpler potato dishes. Note for those with an aversion or allergy to egg: BJ's offers a range of potato-based dishes with nary a fleck of egg involved. Second time around I went for the Mushroom Portobello Mellow. This was a perfect creation with the exactly right ratio of egg to stuffs, the egg perfectly cooked in omelet fashion, and sides of potato and that aforementioned biscuit holding up their side of the plate. Coffee was hot and relatively strong (relative to the standards of my hometown down at the end of I-55). Service was prompt and friendly, with coffee and water refills coming around regularly.

    Florentine omelette!

Because... that trip was memorable and 10/10 enjoyable! What we ordered: *Leafhopper (iced coffee with rosemary syrup & oat milk) *Puff the Magic Dragonfruit Matcha *WITH BOBA?!* (matcha with dragonfruit syrup & popping boba) Both were seasonal drinks. Both were consumed heartily and happily. There was absolutely a clear winner though and it was the Puff the Magic Dragonfruit Matcha! It was refreshing and energizing and good down to the last drop. The flavors went together so well - it was creamy and the matcha tasted so good. Man. I can't wait to go back! The Leafhopper was fantastic and a fun flavor combo - just paled in comparison to the iced matcha latte we had! The store itself is adorable. The lighting is a bit dim for my tastes - felt a little dungeony as a result. There were so many various seating options! Comfy chairs and couches with low tables, higher seating, standard tables and chairs, etc. There were glasses and a water pitcher which I was so grateful for while we waited!
