Kim is also a certified personal fitness trainer and that really shows in her instruction. She takes the time to break down each move and explain the physics and offers lots of tips and encouragement to help you master them. You'll definitely feel comfortable taking a class from her no matter if you are 20 or 50. She brings many hoops to class each week for you to try out. You'll want to buy one the first night if you don't already have one! It's just THAT addictive. I often find myself shoulder hooping without a hoop. It's like when you step off a cruise ship and you can still feel the boat move for a week after you get home. The hoop becomes a part of you. Not a bad gig. ;)

While they updated the calendar for New Years Day to indicate being closed, they made no such updates for New Years Eve, indicating they were open until 7P AND that they had an all day special from 9-5 for shotgun shooting discounts. When I showed up at 4P for a standard indoor lane I was told they closed at 4. No notice to paying members, no updates to the calendar for NYE (31st). This is compounded by new, untrained staff with inconsistent policies: some indicating their new electronic waiver (signed when you join, and required for guests) had to be filled out each visit; others never even nothing to ask (knowing members had already signed). It's still a great place, and the staff are both friendly and helpful. It's still a good value. It's just starting that "we're not new anymore, how much less can we get away with and people will still pay for" phase. That's disappointing... but not unexpected.

Hand made and so nice in your hands. They are super accurate. So I purchased the guns directly from them and had they shipped to a dealer locally. The process was so nice. Their customer service is top notch. They always help you out. I was able to get the handgun at a discount because of my job which was amazing. Their handguns are at a premium cost due to the fact that they are of the highest quality and hand made. It really reflects on it when you use them. They are First Responder friendly and made in America. I can't say enough of how great their weapons are and the quality that they promote. I love both the handguns that I got and they are worth every penny I spent on them. So reliable and accurate.

Those details--rehearsal schedules, dates, and location--were never communicated. When we asked for clarification, we were told the studio was still working through the details, which is unacceptable given that families had already paid. To make matters worse, the studio attempted to attribute the confusion to my child rather than taking accountability for their lack of communication. It also became clear that the studio prioritizes its competition team, while other students receive significantly less organization and preparation--despite paying for recital participation and costumes. We expected a much higher level of professionalism and transparency.

It is hard to express how disappointed we were with this experience. There were many cancelled…read moreclasses, teachers changed, there was a lack of communication with parents, the coaching my child received was minimal. I emailed at least five times with concerns and never got a response. The production itself was also really disappointing, and I felt it made my child hesitant to be involved in productions moving forward. They preformed scenes they NEVER rehearsed. What should have been a 50 min show was 1.5 hours, largely because the teacher was feeding them all their lines. My child has been in four different productions, some for much younger kids. This production was by far the least developed and "roughest" to get through. These concerns seem to be tied to larger business issues. Although I know some folks who have had god experience with the dance side of things, the theater program is underserved and it was incredibly frustrating.

I've always wanted to try pottery and ended up signing up for a class with a few family members…read more Pottery is hard--but I enjoyed it! It will definitely take a few lessons to get the technique under my belt (I am sure this varies by person). Emily owns the studio and teaches the lesson. There was about 10 people in my "intro to wheel throwing" class. Everything is provided in the class and it was about three hours long. Emily teaches you the techniques and you get to make as many as you can within the course period. I was able to make 4 imperfect "bowls." I suggest that you not wear anything nice because it will be messy. I got clay/mud in my shoes, on my legs, and my clothes--fortunately, it comes out fairly easily, just a warning! However, I think it was worth it. I found the process to be very therapeutic...and humbling. I plan to take more classes and hope to get better!

Each session progressively improved my skill set and over several weeks, using these methodical college-level processes, I was able to accomplish an oil painting at my own pace.
