Eric did an amazing job installing a new heater for my pool as well as the Pentair system to operate it. Very helpful and easy to work with!

    Oscar's Pool Service

We just finished a complete renovation of our pool with Oscar's Pool Service, and I can honestly…read moresay it was one of the best decisions we've made as homeowners. When we bought our house three years ago, we knew the pool needed to be redone. Unfortunately, because of other major repairs, we had to wait. Our house was a flip, and whoever patched up the pool before us did a quick, cosmetic job that started falling apart within months. The plaster came off in sheets, the 1960s tile was covered in decades of calcium buildup, the coping was old red brick with mortar literally crumbling out, and some jets and plumbing didn't even work. The pool was technically swimmable, but it was depressing to look at. This summer our weekly pool cleaner told us the plaster was about to fail completely, so we started calling around for estimates. Most of the big corporate companies gave us inflated quotes and made us feel like just another job number. A trusted friend recommended Oscar's, so we checked Yelp, saw all the great reviews, and gave him a call. Oscar came out immediately, took careful measurements, walked us through every detail, and his knowledge and professionalism instantly won our trust. From there, the process moved quickly. Within a week of signing, his crew demoed the entire pool in just a few hours. We got to choose tile from several suppliers and ended up with a beautiful pebble mosaic that matched our house. At first, we thought we'd keep the old red brick coping, but at the last minute we switched to a modern dark gray brick. Best decision ever! It completely transformed the look of our backyard. As often happens with older homes, surprises came up: our original 1964 gas and electrical lines were corroded and had to be replaced. Oscar handled everything--brought in trusted contractors, coordinated the work, and saved us the headache of dealing with multiple companies. While we were at it, we upgraded our equipment to a top-of-the-line Jandy system with Wi-Fi controls, plus added a heater and automatic pool filler. Yes, the budget went up, but every upgrade was worth it. Watching the transformation was amazing. Once the new tile, coping, and plaster went in, it felt like we had a brand-new pool built from scratch. The white plaster makes the water sparkle, the equipment runs quietly and efficiently, and with the heater and lights, we can swim comfortably day or night, year-round. Beyond the work itself, what made the experience so special was Oscar and his family. He's personable, honest, hardworking, and clearly cares about his craft. His crew was professional, respectful, and fast. By the end, it felt like we weren't just hiring a contractor--we were working with people who truly cared about making our home better. Now every time we step into our backyard, we can't believe the difference. What was once an eyesore is now the centerpiece of our home, and we're enjoying it constantly. If you need pool renovation, plaster, tile, coping, or even just reliable weekly service in the San Fernando Valley--call Oscar's. He's the best! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DKKSP_c4UY

In all my years that I've owned a pool I have never ever had a person that honestly knows what they're doing until I met Gianni. Long story short I met him through my Home Warenty company. I like him so much , even after I got rid of my Home Warenty company I made sure to keep his info. now he services my pool, my parents pool and all my other family members. Take my word once you use him you will never ever use anybody else. You will not be disappointed!! It's been over 2 years I have been using him now and I'll tell you this not once have I ever questioned his bill. If you ask me why I'll tell you (honesty 100%) (knowledge) I know he is not up selling me on anything or trying to make extra money off of me . I usually don't write reviews on yelp, but this is one business. I wanna support and I wanna get the word out there look no further this is the person you wanna go with.

They were also late or no-shows which really upset us as we would take time from work to be home for their arrival. No calls to say, we are running late or not going to make it. Silence and no apologies after the fact. When they did work on it, they would say, I fixed it, but would not stick around to make sure the heat got up to the target zone. And then minutes after they left, it would shut down again. When is call to complain they'd say oh we can put you back on the schedule in 2 weeks!! First American reassigned it again to AquaZur. I'll admit, I was skeptical, but Gianni proved me wrong. Gianni from AquaZur Inc. set up my appointment over the phone and arrived in the timeframe of when he said he would. He went through every component of my spa heater to "test" each part. From fuses to chip-boards to thermo tests. As each would pass/fail, he would explain it to me, and troubleshoot. It was great. In the end, he did figure it out and tested it...waiting for the spa to reach the target temp in front of me. As he left he said, test it out a few more times this weekend and make sure it's good. If not, call me and I'll take care of it. We are looking forward to a spa this weekend - the first time since July!!

If you're having a hard time deciding on who to use to refresh or rebuild your pool, stop…read morescrolling. Stanton Pools is who you should use in the SF Valley. I didn't just jump into this with them, I took probably 2 years deciding on who I should use and why. I met with general builders, discount pool builders, other pool companies and I am so happy that I did my homework. Eric and his team are AWESOME. Chad is his point guy and he's the nicest guy you'll ever meet. What they do better than the rest is LISTEN. They really take the time focusing on what you want to accomplish with your pool refresh. I had one of those 70's pools that's 8-9 feet deep. It NEVER warmed to above 80 even in the months where it's a 100 degrees out here for a month. We brought up my depth from 3 1/2 feet to 5 1/2 feet in different areas. We added an 8 foot tanning shelf with stairs. We literally went over every inch of that pool with me in it with a tape measurer just to measure where I wanted the water level in every spot. We made a million changes throughout, as he said in the beginning that we would once things started to take shape. We added the pebble finish. We added new porcelain tile. There are a million options there as well and he guides you through every choice and really has a great understanding of what your water color will end up looking like or how your coping with play with tile that you choose. He/they are way beyond just being knowledgeable. Every inch of your pool will be discussed, if you're that into it. My project took 4 weeks total to finish and came in ahead of schedule. The price I paid was EXACTLY to the penny of what my estimate was, even with the changes that we agreed upon. We took away a few things and added a few things. If I could give 10 stars I would. There isn't ONE inch of my pool that I am unsatisfied with.. Oh, and my water is already at 80 and we haven't even hit the heat of the summer here in the valley. Eric has specialist for every phase of your project and they all were amazing. Clean work, and no debris left after their processes. They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. They landed right on fair. But, worth every penny. My wife and I couldn't be happier. Oh, and if they sucked, I would be the first on here screaming it. I told Eric before we started that I would be leaving an honest review and here it is. If you have any questions, you can have Eric call me and connect us and I will tell you myself. Aces.

They helped us choose the right finishes and design details to match our style, and the workmanship was top notch. The project stayed on schedule, and the crew kept the space clean and safe while working. We loved watching the process of chipping out the old plaster and tile. It was fun watching the new Stonescape pebble finish being applied, it turned out exactly how we hoped it would. We feel like we have a brand new pool and have received many compliments already on how beautiful it looks. If you are thinking about a pool remodel, I highly recommend Stanton Pools. They deliver quality, communicate well and truly care about the final results.
