Pugs tend to get stinky and I only use them about once a month or every 6 weeks or so since I also like to bathe my girl personally in between visits and to keep costs reasonable. With my hectic work schedule, I absolutely love that they come right to my door and do a full service groom including glands, teeth, nails, and ears for about $110 plus I tip of course. (And my dog is small so I'm sure it's higher for larger dogs). This may be steep for some and I certainly couldn't afford to do it more often than I do, but considering the service and convenience I feel their rates are appropriate. And she stays smells fresh for days even a whole week afterwards! Kristy is so sweet and cares gently for my dog and is always excited to see her. I love the fresh little bandana they give after a bath and I leave it on her for a few days as her little "I'm clean!" souvenir. When my friends come over and see her in the bandana they're always like "oooohhh someone just had a baaath and smells so goooood!! Me and Cha Cha love you guys!

I really appreciated how confidently and calmly the groomer took control when he arrived. It immediately made me feel like Charlie was in good hands. My dogs already knew and were comfortable with the groomer, so I was willing to continue using the service even though it had become significantly more expensive. Unfortunately, this time the experience was extremely disappointing. I first messaged Carlos on July 15th and received no response. I then called on Friday, July 17 to follow up, and initially got no answer. When I called on his cell phone again, Carlos answered and said he was driving and would call me back in 30 minutes. He never did. I called again later that evening, and instead of apologizing for not following up, the conversation felt dismissive and unprofessional. We eventually scheduled an appointment for July 21 between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. Carlos never showed up and never called to let me know there was an issue. I tried calling multiple times around 7:30 PM and received no response. At that point, I had no choice but to look for another groomer through Yelp. Ironically, Yelp also sent my inquiry to other providers and this same groomer responded first. Given that he had already failed to show up for our confirmed appointment and had ignored multiple calls, I told him I was no longer interested in his services. I understand that things can occasionally happen, but failing to communicate, not returning calls and completely missing a scheduled appointment without any notice is unacceptable - especially from a service that has already increased its prices multiple times. I had continued using Bark Barber largely because my dogs were familiar with the groomer, but reliability and communication are just as important as the grooming itself. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will be taking my dogs elsewhere. I have attached all the images of the call logs and messages with him as evidence.

I had a pretty bad experience with a different mobile groomer awhile back - they were pretty rude to my pup (and we'd had previous problems) and also just told us he is basically too old to be groomed our only choice was to medically groom him. But then I found Mother Pupper mobile groomers and I am just through the roof and over the moon. They are so kind and sweet and patient. They groom him in half the time of the previous service we used and he is happy and fine afterwards, instead of traumatized. It only took about an hour which is incredible and so good for him, because it can minimize his stress. When they pick him up from me, they hold him like a baby and Daysi even kissed him on the head. I literally CRY every single time they groom him because they are so sweet and kind to him. He's a senior citizen, and almost blind and they just handle him with such loving care. I couldn't be happier to have found them! I will recommend them to every single person I encounter, and in fact need to get some business cards to hand out next time they come by. They're worth every penny - if you're on the fence, book with them now! You will not regret it. 5 stars, 10/10, best groomers ever. Don't let anyone but them touch your pups!

I don't know their exact service area, but they came to us in Pasadena. I learned of Tony's services from our dog rescue, whose director was against in-store groomers because some of them use questionable drying techniques if the dog isn't agreeable. I like that with Tony's mobile service, I could stay in the van the entire time to keep my dog comfortable. Tony also carries a wide variety of shampoos, including a hypo allergenic one--nice to have so many options.
