Just picked up Benny again from Happiness Grooming. Their team was able to accommodate us even though we came earlier than our scheduled appointment. Benny doesn't seem to panic when we step inside the shop which means he's always had a pleasant experience with them.

I cannot recommend this groomer enough! This was my first time bringing Cobie (who is a menace with anything to do with cutting his nails) and the team at Happiness Grooming were able to cut AND grind his nails when other places would refuse. He's very anxious and can be reactive but everyone here was so kind and saw behind his fear that he is the best boy! The prices here are so beyond fair and reasonable!! I can't wait to bring him back and recommend this amazing team

I have been coming here at least three times and each time they leave my foster dog great, silky smooth and smelling fantastic. The woman in the front is super friendly and always cheerful. The people who run the place appear to be loving and caring for the animals. They also know my dog very well that each time they handle him with care. I love coming to this spot. I don't want others to know about it because then it would get packed but I do want them to get good business too. read more

I love Happiness Grooming! I've been coming for years to this family owned business. I'm always greeted with smiles. All members of the family are honest, transparent, offer good recommendations, and genuinely care for my puppies. One of my dogs isn't the most friendly, and they handle her like pros. They won't force anything my dog isn't comfortable with, but they end up doing more for her than I imagine can be done. I love this place and highly recommend their service. Gracias! read more

They do not follow your directions. Imagine picking up your husky and they practically shaved him! We literally said that he was only to be de-shed. It gets worse. We said no perfume. We can't stand their perfume. They used perfume! Now we have to rewash our dog after paying over two hundred dollars for our three dogs. Wait it gets worse. They once had our dog and when we picked him up his leash was in half. He chewed through it somehow. Why is my dog on his leash for hours? I dunno. So we got him a lease that can't be chewed through. Then today, they switched his leash and put him on his brother's leash for some reason. Sho he chewed through a second personalized leash. They We will never be back. Beyond frustrated. read more

Today we went to our normal groomers. Only groomers I trust in the San Fernando Valley. They are so sweet to my frenchie. She's always so scared to leave us, but I know she's in good hands when we picked her up. They always give us a quick summary of how she behaved and how the shower process went and they let us know that she did very well she was not crying and she did not give them a hard time. She came back, smelling amazing and she was very excited to be back home. Nails and ears and her coat look very clean. I am very pleased with my overall experience. read more

Happiness Grooming is a little place tucked away off of Sepulveda and Vanowen. I initially went there because it was convenient, but I they are so sweet and helpful. My dog looked a little funny when she came out, but that's because they did what they asked them to do. I have a labradoodle and some place make their faces look tooo poofy. So I told them at Happiness to just trim her face the same length as the rest of the body... this was a mistake because her face looked too pointy haha. That said, it did teach me that Happiness will do exactly what you ask them to do! I am heading back today! read more

However, after trying other groomers and consistently receiving glowing feedback about my dog's sweet behavior, it became clear that this wasn't the right fit. At other places, my dog is calm and content. One instance that sealed my decision was when I got a call, 30 minutes after picking up my dog, saying he was ready for pickup. When I mentioned that I had already taken him home, there was no apology... just "ok" before hanging up. Like excuse me? No sense of security here. While the grooming here is acceptable, there are definitely better options out there with superior service and kinder handling.

Ariel engraved all four of her paw prints in a heart shaped terracotta stone along with her tail which gave it that extra special unique touch. The ability to feel her feet and hands by tracing my fingers along each anatomical groove brings a smile to my face. Cutie would often times take her front paw and wrap it around my finger and now I can replicate that feeling over and over thanks to you Ariel. Ariel inked my Cutie's paws, nose and whiskers too! When I saw the prints it brought me back to when I use to touch her nose and she would look at me and I could just feel her smiling at me with her eyes. Ariel made me a special ink design with Cutie's tail curved forming a half heart with her back paw in the middle. I don't have tattoos but if I were to ever get one this would be perfect! Ariel created so many personal touches for Cutie's send off to heaven that she had me crying tears of joy. I'm confident in saying my little sassy girl Cutie knew she was so loved not only here on earth but in heaven. Cutie is looking down from heaven and is saying thank you Mommy for being there for me-I love you! and I love you too!! I had just recently moved to Van Nuys and was incredibly lucky to find happiness grooming. It's family owned and you can tell that they deeply care about animals at this grooming place. I took my dog completely matted and dirty because of my fear of groomers and her not allowing me to do it at home and she came back looking cuter than ever even if they cut all her hair off (it was needed) they called me multiple times throughout our appointment because they were aware of my anxiety to let me know everything is good with her and that she is doing nicely. I highly recommend them everyone who works here is incredibly sweet and you can tell they love animals read more

Finally found a groomer I like! I can't say enough good things about this groomer. They treated my dogs like family and they did an amazing job. My dogs came home, looking clean, fluffy with bows in their ears and they were actually happy when they saw me without any anxiety like they do at other groomers. Staff was professional and helpful and gave me many suggestions about my concerns and things to do before their next grooming. The shop smells good and my dogs smell good, kinda like coconut, not like baby powder or old lady perfume. I highly recommend this shop plus they give you a punchcard!! read more

What's unacceptable is how mediocre your attitude and poor customer service is given your answer which proved my point. Your answer is beyond preposterous and pathetic. Don't worry, I found a groomer more expensive yet, far better than your shit hole business in Santa Monica and I won't hesitate to tarnish your reputation as you decided to make a 180 degree turn and be a complete asshole. el lugar esta bien limpio me gusta como atienden a mi gordo son muy amables siempre cuando hablas con ellos te hablan con mucha amabilidad siempre le le asen assctamente lo que les digo y me lo cuidan muy bien ami gordo les recomiendo el lugar 100 por ciento lo que mas me gusta es super higiene y nunca me lo an cortado ami gordo deje de ir a otros lugares porque siempre me lo entregarán cortado y aquí tengo mas de 1 año viniendo y nunca me lo an cortado benga y agan su sita no lo piensen masssssss read more

I was nervous leaving my 10-month-old kitten for her second-ever grooming session, but the staff at Happiness Grooming were so kind and reassuring. They even sent me videos of the process, which really helped calm my nerves as a first-time cat mom. They were true to their words of being able to manage my dog! I have been searching for another groomer since some mishaps with my long term groomer and a mobile groomer as well. I have a 15y/o Scottie terrier. I had explained his behaviors and other challenges with Luis and assured me that they can take my dog. I just picked up my dog and he's finally clean! My vet clinic recommended this place to me and I'm glad they did. I'm very happy with the prices here, they're much more affordable than other places I've gotten quotes from and they have very friendly service. They did a great job with my newly adopted 12 year old maltese mix who needed a good makeover. I will definitely be sending friends and family here to get their pets nice and pampered. I use to go to different dog grooming and unfortunately my dog had a bad experience. But since I found this place I been coming here since they first opened and they have been the BEST since day 1. They are very understanding about my dog's need and how anxious she can get but they're always super patient with her and she always comes out super happy after! It was a great experience at Happiness dog grooming. I have a Yorkshire terrier who hadn't had her hair cut in 2 years. I was nervous because I didn't know what her reaction would be. I was honest with the groomer because my dog is a good dog but sometimes gets frustrated with new things. When I went to pick her up she was happy and looked fantastic. Took my senior girl to Happiness Groomer and I'm honestly so impressed. She came out looking TOO cute with her pink bows, but what really got me was how calm and relaxed she was when I picked her up (which never happens).
