Erin has been helping me for the last 4 weeks or so with a neck injury (whiplash) when I first walked in to see Erin my neck pain was hindering my everyday life. I'm SO relieved to be making healing progress. I am back to enjoying activities I love to do and sleeping better :) Erin really takes her time to listen and check in every session. I went to Erin for the first time about a year & a half ago. I had severe chronic shoulder and neck pain and had tried everything except acupuncture. I was nervous, I don't like needles, but she helped me understand the difference of an acupuncture needle and how I had nothing to be afraid of. Erin listens, truly engages with you so she can understand fully where your pain is and how to treat it. With a regular treatment schedule we truly took my chronic pain down several notches. And now, a good year & a half later, my pain is much lower on the pain scale and isn't as frequent. Erin is as good as it gets. She has moved closer the Fremont/Wallingford area and has a great little courtyard office location. I have given Erin all kinds of complaints; from muscular, to sinus, or just plain stress, and she address them calmly and professionally. My results are great every time. This review is long overdue! I have seen Erin regularly this summer, after having seen her a few years ago in another location. When I went in to see her this time around, I was feeling a great deal of pain in my low back and hips and wrist, but also wanted to feel less stress and experience fewer allergy symptoms. That's a lot to put onto one person's plate, but Erin was genuine in making me feel like these were manageable concerns. After 5 or 6 sessions, I already felt like seeing her had made huge changes in my pain and stress levels. Erin is very informative, and each time I go I feel like I learn something new from her. She is especially knowledgeable and interested in the area of nutrition and how it affects your physical and emotional health. Best of all, she is kind and easy to talk with. Her new space is lovely and on-street parking is easy to find, typically right in front of the building. One of the best features of her office is that you can make, cancel and reschedule appointments all online. For those who are worried about needles or the science of acupuncture in general, I cannot recommend enough that you see Erin. She will work with you to make you feel more at ease and you'll immediately see how the needles used don't even compare with those you experience when getting shots. They are like fine silver hairs and you rarely feel them. It's magical how the insertion of them can make you feel so much better. I am happy to report that since my first session I have yet to have another headache. It's changed my life! Erin is my fourth acupuncturist that I have experienced in my life and she does it best. The experience is the most relaxing and pleasant as soon as you walk in. There is tea as soon as you walk in which immediately helps begin relaxing for the treatment. The needles are very gentle which I haven't experienced before. Erin is very down to earth and personable which makes you able to talk about everything that is an issue. She focuses a lot on nutrition as well which I personally find very important and she sells a line of natural supplements right there. I have been suffering daily for a 1 1/2 years with chronic migraines possible occipital neuralgia and neck pain. I have tried almost everything medications, chiropractic, massage, and numerous injections with little to no relief. I am a mother of three and I needed to get my pain under control and get my life back. To be honest at my first appointment with Erin I was doubtful that acupuncture would help. After my second session which consisted of acupuncture and cupping I was already feeling relief!! I have been trying to quit smoking for almost two years. Each time I tried I would fall into a deep depression, as I was using smoking to cope with my grief. A close friend suggested I try acupuncture. I was skeptical, but I was also willing to try anything at that point. I made an appointment with Erin. She could not have been more nice and attentive. After my hour long session I felt relaxed, but I still was not convinced it would help me quit smoking. Two weeks later I'm happy to say that quitting smoking was a breeze. I have seen Erin a few times and I should also mention I'm using Zyban (150mg of Wellbutrin). Something about the combination is working miraculously!!!! Not only would I recommend Erin to folks who are looking to quite smoking, but I would recommend her in general. She is simply great at what she does and she really cares.
