Don't be fooled by the advertising with open clear communication. Communication poor at best…read more Quality of pool and other accessory items fair at best. There was a delay starting project due to poor communication in starting the project. Robertsons will blame waiting on licenses inspections but this has nothing to do with initiating the project from the get go. We waited for 6 months before project started. When they did come it was often after hours so i suspect they subcontracted work to a group of individuals or organization who was at another job in the morning. Hence the poor quality. These workers did not cover the extended patio once they removed the tiles on roof and after unanticipated rain storm led to roof and wall damage. There were broken travertine tiles that they would cover using some agent which was not noticeable right away but after several months these areas reveal themselves. I would stay away from this overpriced company as there are other companies in the DFW area, I'm sure, that are much better with this process even if a bit more expensive... the increase expense will be worth staying away from Robertsons A side note - they were supposed to reconfigure our sprinkler system given new pool etc... We just spent another $2000.00 bc of Robertsons subcontracting blunder to reconfigure our sprinklers the correct way. Not to mention the notion we wasted money on desert plants around pool that died within weeks due to the poor planning of the irrigation system to these plants. This company may have started off as a decent company when it was smaller but with time it seems... just like everything else... the quality has dropped precipitously as the company grows.

Items enumerated in the work order were ignored, and we were treated with condescension and a patronizing attitude on several occasions. The final result: a white plaster pool that started degrading within months after the resurfacing. We reached out several times to report this, and were told the discolorations were the result of improper chemical balance in the pool, so it was our fault. But after the replastering our pool was serviced weekly, including brushing and maintaining proper chemistry. We've had three other plastering companies come to inspect and assess the issue. All independently confirmed the plastering job was done improperly and needed to be redone. We recorded underwater video that clearly shows the defects and sent it to the company, requesting the owner come and confirm that this was what he expected a newly refinished Robertson Pool to look like. No response from the company. No response from the owner. $25K spent, and the pool looks much worse than before the replastering. Unfortunately we picked the wrong vendor.

We were given a timeline of a month or two on completing our pool on December 2021. That included…read morecoping, tile and plaster. Tile was pre-paid, coping was selected and contract was signed. There were some issues with setting and managing expectations up front but in the end, we are happy with the final product. It is 4/28/22 and pool coping, tile and plaster are complete. We had a 4 month wait and it took 1 month to get the job done. There were a few unexpected expenses during the project but that is to be expected for a project like this. By the time the project was complete we ended up paying roughly 20% more than the quoted amount. Also, we had to choose different coping as the one we originally chose was no longer available due to supply chain issues. There are a lot of shortages going on right now. Workers and supplies. This is not a fault of Blue Escapes, these are just the times now and unfortunately, we along with Blue Escapes were caught in it. This along with price hikes on everything (plaster, tile, etc.) which we weren't charged extra for. Blue Escapes uses quality workers. Watching them lay the tile and take their time with each tile they laid just solidified why it takes a while to complete these remodels. The owner is an honest man who is a wealth of knowledge. Bob (the owner) came out to ensure each step was completed to his satisfaction.

Our wish was their command! At a fair price, too. We wanted a water feature and shorter steps and…read morethey delivered just in time for pool season. It's quite a comfort to know I have an honest and talented pool renovation and maintenance company just a phone call away.
