Here is what happens every single visit: staff confirms my available credits at check-in, I receive my service, and at checkout I am told they do not know how to apply the credits. The manager is messaged and I leave without a resolution, every time. I have reached out following multiple visits and have not received a single response. This is not a one-time miscommunication. This is a repeated pattern of collecting monthly membership fees while consistently failing to honor what those fees cover. I have full documentation of every charge, every visit, and every unanswered follow-up. I would like this resolved.

I can not think of a better way to start my day than being offered a cup of coffee and then having my hair washed and styled. I booked online and arrived with no issues. DryBar is located in that weird Bermuda triangle of where Cedar Springs/Olive/McKinney/Harry Hines all loop around each other, but my GPS took me straight there. To the immediate left of DryBar there is an entrance for a parking garage so that is where I parked. Was happy to find out parking is validated! The music was full blast in the salon and they offer a lot of complimentary drinks before getting started. I had a short consultation to make sure my stylist and I were on the same page and then she took me back to wash my hair. Very relaxing, Back at the chair I found it interesting that they have TVs on the mirrors so instead of watching your hair be styled you can read the subtitles of the movie that was playing. I enjoyed this a lot. Another great distraction to relax. At the end of the session my stylist flipped my chair around so I could see the final product and I was very happy. It was quickly dried and styled in center or side parts, with lots of volume, lift and swing. Elegant and easy. Derek said he couldn't understand me. I should have left immediately. What I have now is an inexplicable cut, 2-5 " off, barely chin length, huge amounts of hair removed, wispy layers everywhere, and texturizing. He has activated a mass of waves and curls never seen before. From the front, the shape is a cartoonish wide diamond. From the sides, a fat wedge. This is the opposite of what is required for copious, European, fine, porous hair with a nape curl and minimal wave. Derek basically has created a White girl Afro. He somehow dried it beautifully, disguising the weird architectural structure by using a tiny brush on myriad narrow strands, drying them straight, and contorting them via elaborate manual sculpting techniques, product and nearly an hour of work. Maybe he planned to do twice-weekly blowdries on it. I have spent many days and dollars elsewhere experimenting with product, techniques and professional advice while attempting to cope. Derek pleasantly refunded the charges and apologized for the "inconvenience." This is far worse than inconvenient.
