Cannot say enough about this company and the amazing afternoon their e-bikes made possible for us. We wanted to experience Snow Canyon and reached out to several local e-bike companies. Some didn't respond, and others were clearly pricing to pay for their expensive storefronts. When Nestor at Blue Raven emailed us back, we discussed the bikes we would need for our family of 6 (kids aged 7-17) and then stopped by to make sure there was a fit for our 10-yr-old. There was! We made a reservation for the next day. From beginning to end, Nestor and his wife made us feel like family. It was our first time on e-bikes, so they took the time to explain everything clearly and make sure we were comfortable with the pedal assist and throttle. The kids took a few practice laps across the street in the City Hall parking lot. And we were off! Navigation was easy thanks to a digital map they sent us. If you've never used an e-bike, you'll be amazed at how easy they are to operate, and grateful for the uphill help. (The Snow Canyon route is uphill nearly all the way in.) We rented the bikes for 4 hours and Nestor made clear that we didn't need to "rush back", he wasn't going to charge us extra if we were a little late. And he also assured us that if our plans changed last-minute, there would be no cancellation fee. This approach was so refreshing, especially after being nickeled, dimed, and hidden-charged by so many other places during our vacation! Oh, and can't forget to say that Blue Raven was half the price of any other place that actually responded to our inquiries! Half! I highly recommend riding an e-bike through the canyon. It was so much fun! The staff at Blue Raven were incredible. They were patient and kind. They make sure your bike is right fit for you, and that you're comfortable before they send you off on your adventure. I had never been to Zion and was just there for the afternoon, and this was the best way to get to enjoy the canyon. You get to control your speeds and can pedal as much as you like or just cruise along the rivet and take in the sights. They give you a lock also so you can leave your bike and explore walking trails. I'm so happy that we chose this over the shuttle options. It's just you, your company, and nature. They were really quick with setting us up with our bikes too, so we were on our way in the canyon almost as soon as we arrived. I had so much fun. This is such an awesome way to spend 2 hours (or more!) The e-bike is totally the way to go if you want some exercise, but then when the grade gets a little steep, you just press the throttle and it takes you! My husband and I are in our 60s, so it was such a delightful way to tour the area, Snow Canyon, Kayenta art village, etc. I was a little nervous about how to ride this e-bike, but it was super easy... The manager Pete explained it perfectly to us and within one minute we were pros! I highly recommend using this business to rent a bike like this, their inventory is high-quality, the staff is super nice, the prices are very reasonable.
