A superb place to pick up some local beers! And all available as singles for your mixing and matching pleasures. I stopped in to grab a build-your-own 6-pack of North Carolina brews to bring home with me. I not only found much more than I expected, organized by beer type...but I also found a charming little bar where you could get pours of various beers and ciders that they have on tap, as well as the option for to-go growlers. It was welcoming and the bartenders and other patrons were friendly and helpful and kind. I would gladly come here again should I find myself in Waynesville in the future! read more

I love craft beer and the Blue Ridge Beer Hub is our favorite place to go in town. Sixteen rotating taps of beer from local breweries as well as hard to find beers from across the country. Pair that with the friendly staff and fantastic bottle selection, what's not to like. They also sponsor free tastings from breweries. In addition to the beer selection, they also offer several wines for those who don't like beer. They also have a good selection of wine you can purchase for off site consumption. Super helpful women employee when we arrived. Gave us tap menus and answered our questions about wine selection. When checking out however, the male employee was short with us (FOR NO REASON) and when we gave a complement about the store there was ZERO acknowledgement. Such a great bottle shop in Waynesville. I stumbled upon the facebook while looking up things to do in Waynesvillle for a trip to the area. I was pretty excited to see they had an event for the Friday I was arriving that was a tap takeover by Hi-Wire Brewing out of Asheville. I wasn't able to get their in time for the tap take over, but I visited the bottle shop twice during the weekend while I was there. The shop is a little interesting to get into. There is a steep set of 3 (?) stairs to enter from the sidewalk and a ramp entrance in the back of the shop. Upon first glance, and first time entering, I didn't think you could use the doors from the sidewalk, but they are usable. The selection of beer the shop carries is pretty great. Not even considering the place has only been open for about 10 months or that it's in Waynesville, the shop has a great selection that could compete with some of the bigger bottle shops (Think Tasty Beverage Company in Asheville). There is a small bar with about 12 taps (just verified with untappd). The draft list is on untappd, so you can check out the list before going. There happened to be KBS on draft while I was there. I believe he also has a few wines, for those that don't like beer. The cooler selection is pretty small, so I wouldn't necessarily count on that for a single to drink in the shop. The food in the shop is just small snacks mainly consisting of beef jerky, pretzels, or chips. The owner is also the bartender and he is incredibly knowledgeable about pretty much all of the beers on the shelf. I believe he's had most of them. I spent most of the time at the bar discussing different beers across the country with him. I highly recommend a stop here if you're in the area. You'll definitely leave with a great mixed six-pack, if not more! read more

What a hidden gem! We were recommended this place by an employee at Boojums when we asked if there were any other Beer Joints to check out. What a pleasant surprise and great recommendation! This is a bottle shop, tap room, and they also sell products to create your own beer. If you are needing a recipe they will help you there as well. They had some pretty solid beers on tap and some beers for sale from local breweries we could not find other places. Definitely recommend this place. It can be a little hard to find as its just off the main thorough fare. read more

Very nice and friendly beer and wine shop. They have a great selection of less common beer and a very knowledgable owner who can help you pick out something great.
